通过本单元的学习，使学生掌握祈使句，情态动词can，表示许可的用法和情态动词have to 及其各种句式的变化，能用英语表达各种标志图表的含义，学会为各种公共场所制定规章制度和使用规则，能给父母写建议信。

它的主语you(听话⼈)通常省略。
其构成通常有以下⼏种形式。
1)Be型（即系动词原型be+表语＋其他）。
如：Be quiet,please. 否定句Don’t + be+表语+其他。
如：Don’t be angry. 2)Do型（即系动词原形＋宾语＋其他）。
如： Open you books,please. 否定句Don’t +实义动词原形+宾语+其他。
Unit 12 Don’t eat in class本单元重点语法：祈使句用法及情态动词一、祈使句的用法1. 概念界定祈使句经常用来表示请求、命令、叮嘱、建议等，谓语动词用原形，句子没有主语，句子使用感叹号或者句号。
例如：Open the door quickly. 快打开门。
如果祈使句表示客气地请求，一般用please，please可以放在句子前面也可以放在句子的后面。
例如：Please read after me. 请跟我读。
Read after me, please.2. 以let开头的祈使句以动词let开头的祈使句，let后面的宾语是第一人称的时候，否定形式是在宾语后面加not。
例如：Let’s not do that again. 咱们别那样做了。
如果let的后面宾语是第三人称的时候，否定形式是在let前加助动词don’t。
例如：Don’t let them come in. 不要让他们进来。
3. 祈使句的肯定句和否定句祈使句的肯定句：行为动词原形＋其他例如：Listen to me, please. 请听我说。
Be＋表语例如：Be quiet, please. 请安静。
let＋宾语＋宾语补足语例如：Let’s go together. 咱们一起去。
祈使句的否定句：Don’t＋行为动词＋其他例如：Don’t look at your books. 不要看书。
Don’t ＋be＋其他例如：Don’t be late again. 不要再迟到。
二、情态动词情态动词表示说话人的感情和语气，不能单独使用，要和其他的动词一起构成谓语，情态动词没有人称和数的变化，它后面只能跟动词原形。
主要的情态动词有can/may/must/need 和它们的否定形式。
1.情态动词can：表示有能力做某事。
例如：I can speak English. 我能说英语。
表示许可。
例如：Can I use your bike? 我能用一用你的自行车吗？表示可能性。
