Unit 7 The Birthday PartyTopic 1 When is your birthday?Section AⅠ. Material analysis本课是第七单元话题一的第一课时。
本话题主要学习关于日期、出生时间、出生地点、物体形状特征的表达方式，be动词的一般过去时和序数词。
本课的主要活动是1a, 1c 和3a。
通过Kangkang和Michael谈论英国作家J.K.Rowling展开学习，对话主要涉及到J.K.Rowling的作品、出生地点及出生年月。
通过人物对话，学生将学习关于询问和回答出生年月与地点的表达方式并初步了解be动词的一般过去时；还能通过一系列听、读、写的练习活动掌握年份和十二个月份的表达法及其书写形式。

本课主要让学生学会询问和回答别人的生日，并学会用月份表达日期。
通过本课的学习，学生能够提高日常英语交流能力，增进与他人之间的了解。
二. 学情分析七年级学生已经掌握了基本的日常英语交流，对于询问和回答问题有一定的基础。
但部分学生可能在口语表达和听力理解方面还存在困难，需要通过教师引导和操练来提高。
三. 教学目标1.能够正确询问和回答别人的生日。
2.能够用月份表达日期。
3.提高日常英语交流能力，增进与他人之间的了解。
四. 教学重难点1.重点：询问和回答别人的生日，用月份表达日期。
2.难点：正确运用疑问词when和月份表达日期。
五. 教学方法1.情境教学法：通过设定生日派对等情境，让学生在实际语境中学会询问和回答生日。
2.交际法：引导学生进行角色扮演，模拟真实场景，提高口语表达能力。
3.任务型教学法：通过完成小组任务，让学生在实践中运用所学知识。
六. 教学准备1.制作课件：包括生日派对图片、月份卡片等。
2.准备生日歌：用于课堂氛围营造。

本部分计划教学时间为2课时，第一课时为1a-2b，第二课时用于展示小组学习成果+3a、3b内容。

2、教材分析：本节课为该话题的第一节课，建议用1课时上完。
主要学习用be born 询问他人的出生日期和出生地点，年份和月份的表达法和书写方式。
在Section A 的1a，通过人物对话呈现主要教学内容，学习关于询问和回答出生年月与地点的表达方式。
之后，在1b中通过听录音填空的练习方式，帮助学生理解对话大意。
而在1c中，又系统的学习了十二个月份的名称。
在2a和2b中，通过朗读，听录音，练习等方式学习并巩固年份和月份的表达法和书写方式。
3、中招考点：Be动词的一般过去时和年份和月份的表达法及书写方式是学生必须掌握的知识要点，所以一定要让学生理解，掌握，正确熟练地应用。
4、学情分析：本班学生英语学科基础较差，部分学生学习兴趣不是很足，而Be动词的一般过去时和年份和月份的表达法及书写方式十分重要，鉴于这一点，上课前应当充分备足课，通过展示他们所喜爱的一些名人的图片或播放简短视频，营造鼓励学生参与的课堂气氛，努力提高学生的学习兴趣。
