8.结婚蛋糕特别定制
自罗马时代开始，蛋糕就是节庆仪式中不可或缺的一部分。在那个时代，婚礼结束时，人们会在新娘头上折断一条面包。制造面包的材料——小麦，象征着生育能力。而面包屑则代表着幸运，宾客无不争着捡拾。依照中古时代的传统习俗，新娘和新郎要隔着蛋糕接吻。后来，想象力丰富的烘焙师傅在蛋糕上饰以糖霜，也就成了今天美丽可口的结婚蛋糕。

Teaching Procedures
StepⅠ．Lead-in The teacher shows the picture of a church, a bride and a bridegroom and asks students the following questions:1. Where are these people ？2. Who are they? 3. What are they doing? Brianstorm: ask Ss to write down whatever words they can think about weddings. 设计意图：学生根据大屏幕的画面，在教师的引导下积 极思考，描述画面内容。教师通过提问，导出本课的话 题——Weddings。这样，既让学生大胆地开口说英语， 进行了口语表达，又调动了他们学习英语的兴趣。体现 了“以学生为本”的教学理念。

1．语言知识目标： a.学习单词和词组：bride, bridegroom, best man, ceremony, entrance, wedding reception等。 b.学习情态动词have to/not have to, can/can’t, ought to/ought not to的用法。 2．能力目标： 正确、全面、深刻地理解课文内容，并能运用所知信息交 流讨论，以提高独立思考能力、推理判断能力和阅读能力； 熟练地掌握并使用情态动词have to/not have to, can/can’t, ought to/ought not to去谈论自己所了解的中国婚礼的习俗。 3．情感目标： 让学生了解中国与外国文化风俗的差异，懂得尊重文化多 样性的存在，并能欣赏其优美之处。

一、教学目标1.了解婚礼的意义和文化。

二、教学内容和安排1.引入：观看婚礼相关视频，引发学生对婚礼的兴趣和好奇心。

2.婚礼的意义和文化：通过PPT和讲解，介绍婚礼在不同文化中的意义和习俗。

3.婚礼的流程：分组讨论，学生根据自己的了解和想法，编制婚礼筹办的流程图。

4.分工合作：学生根据流程图，分组编写各个环节的详细计划和任务分工。

5.模拟婚礼筹办：根据学生的计划和任务分工，每个小组扮演一个婚礼筹办团队，在课堂上进行模拟婚礼筹办活动。

6.展示和总结：每个小组展示他们筹办的婚礼方案，并进行讨论和总结，分析每个方案的优缺点。

三、教学方法和手段1.多媒体教学法：利用PPT和视频等多媒体工具介绍婚礼的意义和文化。
