冠词专题

一．定义：冠词是虚词,本身不能单独使用,也没有词义,它用在名词的前面,帮助指明名词的含义。冠词可以说是 名词的一种标志，它不能离开名词而独立存在。表示的名词数量或者特征。

Today’s US teenagers who get an allowance（零用钱） at all usually get US$50 a week for movies, music and junk food. A national study published recently by Ohio State University found that half of the teens asked got no ―monetary transfer （转让）‖ at all. The study included a set amount handed out regularly, occasional spending money of gifts. Of those who got regular allowances, some reported getting more than US$200 a week. The US$50 figure is the median. That translates into about US$1.05 billion available for spending each week by 9.8 million US teenagers, the researchers concluded.
