一、 教材分析

（一）教材的地位和作用

本节课的内容是新目标英语九年级教材第本单元的语言目标是谈论怎样学习，即：talk about how to study.本单元的话题对于学生来说非常实用，这也是他们感兴趣的话题之一，这也就激发了学生对学习英语的兴趣。在本单元这个大的语言目标的环境下，本节课的所学的内容.也是本单元的重点内容之一。因此，本节课要向学生展示新的语言目标，并着重训练学生在阅读方面的能力，提高他们的听说能力。

（二）教学目标

本节课的教学重点是让学生掌握并且能够准确的使用重点词汇及短语，学会阅读的基本技巧，能够根据句型套用句子。

（六）教学难点

根据学生的知识能力水平及对过去学过知识的掌握程度来看本节课的难点在于一些从句的讲解以及对于难句的理解。
