Step 1 Before-reading
1. Enjoy the pictures.
T: Last Summer holiday, I went to ... with my family. I took many
pictures. Do you want to enjoy them?
2. Free talk
T: What did you do last Summer Holiday? Where did you go? ...
T: I have a good plan for this summer holiday. I will go to Beijing
with my family. How long will I stay there? (Learn“how long”)
T:What about your Summer holiday plans? Today we’ll learn Unit 7 Summer
holiday plans
Step 2 While-reading
1.T: Someone is talking about Summer holiday plans,too. Please watch
the cartoon then answer the questions.
Q:Who are talking about their summer holiday plans?
2.T: “Where will they go for the Summer holiday?” Listen to the tape,
match the pictures then talk about their plans. Mike will go to…
3.Open your books and turn to Page 68 and 69. Read the dialogue quickly
and judge the sentences. You can underline the answer with your pencil.
