牛津译林版英语高考英语语法专题复习：形容词和副词讲解形容词用来修饰名词，常放在名词前作定语，或者放在系动词后面作表语。
而副词则用来修饰形容词、动词、其他副词或者整个句子，其位置比较灵活。
高考经常考查形容词和副词的辨析，以及副词短语的辨析。
考点一形容词作定语的排列顺序几个并列的形容词作定语，其语序通常为：限定语（a，the，these）＋数量形容词（two，three）＋描绘性形容词（beautiful）＋大小、长短、高低等形体性形容词（large，long，high）＋新旧或年龄（old）＋颜色（red）＋国籍（Chinese）＋材料（wool，steel）＋目的或用途＋名词。

考点三形容词、副词的比较级1．“as＋形容词＋（a/an）＋名词＋as”表示同级比较，注意中间的形容词和名词并列时各自所在的位置。
第三讲形容词、副词形容词与副词的比较等级Ⅰ.单句语法填空1．(2018·全国卷Ⅰ)According to a review of evidence in a medical journal, runners live three years ________ (long) than nonrunners.解析：longer 根据空后的than和语境可知，此处应该使用副词比较级形式，故填longer。
2．(2018·全国卷Ⅲ)He screams the ________ (loud) of all.解析：loudest 根据空前的the以及空后的of all可知此处应用副词最高级。
3．(2018·6月浙江高考)There could be an even ________ (high) cost on your health.解析：higher 此处表示这么做可能还会让你付出更高的健康代价。
根据even可判断，此处要用形容词的比较级。
4．(2017·全国卷Ⅰ)As a result, people will eat more food to try to make up for that something missing.Even ________ (bad), the amount of fast food that people eat goes up.解析：worse 根据语境可知，此处表示程度的加深，所以用副词比较级形式，even worse 表示“更糟糕的是”。
5．(2017·6月浙江高考)Sixteen years ________ (early), Pahlsson had removed the diamond ring to cook a meal.解析：earliersixteen years earlier表示“早在16年前”。
2020届高考一轮复习语法专项十二：形容词和副词比较级和最高级及其使用形容词的比较级和最高级副词的比较级和最高级1．大多数以ly结尾的副词前加more 和most 来构成比较级和最高级。
2．少数单音节副词，加er,est 构成其比较级和最高级。

高考英语语法词汇专项突破：形容词和副词比较级结构重难点解读养成良好的答题习惯，是决定高考英语成败的决定性因素之一。
做题前，要认真阅读题目要求、题干和选项，并对答案内容作出合理预测;答题时，切忌跟着感觉走，最好按照题目序号来做，不会的或存在疑问的，要做好标记，要善于发现，找到题目的题眼所在，规范答题，书写工整;答题完毕时，要认真检查，查漏补缺，纠正错误。
总之，在最后的复习阶段，学生们不要加大练习量。
在这个时候，学生要尽快找到适合自己的答题方式，最重要的是以平常心去面对考试。
英语最后的复习要树立信心，考试的时候遇到难题要想“别人也难”，遇到容易的则要想“细心审题”。

考查形容词比较级。
根据后文than可知，此处应用形容词good的比较级better。
故填better。

【考题2】（2021新高考I卷）The amazing thing about the spring is that the colder the temperature gets, the (hot) the spring!答案与解析：hotter。
考查形容词比较级。
此处根据前面的the colder和空白处的冠词the看出是固定结构“the +比较级，the+比较级”，意为“越……，越……”。
