一起来看看大学生活英文演讲稿20XX年,欢迎查阅!大学生活英文演讲稿1It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time but do not know what to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful. In the first semester in college, I didn't relax and I still worked hard as I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I went to the classroom forautonomous learning. But the difference is that I have many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make friends with common interests.Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the1/ 13Student Union, I have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other. Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together. During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us go further. Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show one's abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an adult who is preparing to step into the society. In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make it colorful as well as meaningful.大学生活英文演讲稿2As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts, including study, student activities, library and the others.我们知道,很多人认为大学生活是自由、舒适的,但我想说这不是真的。
大学最令人难忘的一件事英语作文The Most Unforgettable Thing That Happened in CollegeHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. Even though I'm still just a kid in elementary school, I wanted to tell you all about the craziest thing that happened to my big brother Jimmy when he was in college. It was sooooo wild!Jimmy is 10 years older than me, so he just graduated from university last year. He went to a big state school about 5 hours away from our hometown. When he first left for college, I was really sad because I missed him a lot. But then I got used to it and thought it was kind of cool having him live far away and do grown-up things at his big kid school.Anyway, this story takes place during Jimmy's junior year of college. It was around Halloween time, which is my favorite holiday! Jimmy was living off-campus in an apartment with three of his friends - Steve, Mike, and Brad. They were all really good buddies. So back in October, Jimmy and his roommates decided they wanted to throw a huge Halloween party at their apartment. From what I heard, their parties were always super fun and got pretty crazy with loud music, dancing, drinking games for theolder kids, and tonnes of people showing up. Jimmy said they wanted to make this one an extra special blowout bash!To get ready, the guys went all out decorating their apartment. They had cobwebs and skeletons everywhere, spooky lights and fog machines, and they even built a haunted hallway in the place! It looked just like a mega haunted house. My mom wouldn't let me go because she said frat parties aren't for kids, but it sounded wicked cool.Jimmy also told me they spent weeks working on the most amazing Halloween costumes. Jimmy was going as a zombie football player, Steve was a vampire, Mike was Frankenstein's monster, and Brad was going as Dracula. From the pictures I saw, their costumes looked so real and gruesome! The night of the party finally arrived on October 30th. Apparently around 200 people showed up over the night! There was a DJ, dancing, a costume contest, and just total madness according to Jimmy. He said at one point, the floor started feeling all bouncy and wobbly because there were so many people jumping around. Then, around 1am, the craziest thing happened. Out of nowhere, the entire front door exploded inwards in a huge cloud of smoke! Jimmy said it was like a scene from an action movie. When the smoke cleared, there were two big guys standing in the doorway, dressed as police officers. But they weren't real cops - they were just students playing a mean prank! The two pranksters started yelling "POLICE! BREAK IT UP! PARTY'S OVER!" at the top of their lungs. At first, nobody knew what was happening and people just froze in confusion. But then panic erupted and there was total mayhem! In a desperate frenzy, people started pouring out of every window, door, you name it. Jimmy's roommate Steve actually jumped straight out of the upstairs bathroom window onto a car! The drunken zombies, vampires, monsters and all sorts of costumed characters were fleeing in pure terror.Within three minutes, the entire party had cleared out into the night. The only people left were Jimmy and his roommates, still standing in shocked bewilderment as the two pranksters rolled around on the floor, dying of laughter at their genius prank. When Jimmy told me this story, I couldn't believe it! I was laughing so hard just picturing a buncha spooked monsters and ghouls frantically evacuating like the apartment was on fire or something. Jimmy said for weeks after, people would come up to them commenting on the crazy "party" and asking what actuallyhappened. He felt kind of dumb for falling for the prank so easily, but he had to admit it was an iconic college prank.I really hope something that hilarious and outrageous happens when I'm older and go to university. Maybe I'll be the one to pull off an epic prank like that! Though I'd probably get in big trouble with my parents. Oh well, you only get to experience those wild college years once, right? I can't wait to make some unforgettable memories of my own someday!。

大学生英语演讲稿篇1As everyone knows,English is very important today. It has been used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. If we can speak English well,we will have more chance to succeed.Because more and more people have taken notice of it,the number of the people who go to learn English has increased at a high speed. But for myself,I learn English not only because of its importance and its usefulness, but also because of my love for it.When I learn English, I can feel a different way of thinking which gives me more room to touch the world. When I read English novels,I can feel the pleasure from the book which is different from reading the translation. When I speak English, I can feel the confident from my words. When I write English,I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...I love English,it gives me a colorful dream.I hope I can travel around the world one day. With my good English, I can make friends with many people from different contries.I can see many places of great intrests.I dream that I can go to London, because it is the birth place of English.I also want to use my good English to introduce our great places to the English spoken people,I hope that they can love our country like us.I know, Rome was not built in a day. 大学生活最有意义的一件事英语作文The Most Meaningful Thing in College LifeHi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. Today I want to tell you all about the most meaningful thing that can happen in college life. My big sister Jessica just started college last year, so I've heard a lot about it from her.College is like the biggest, funnest school you've ever seen! The buildings are huge and there are thousands of students everywhere. Jessica says it's kind of like being at a giant playground, except instead of swings and seesaws, there are libraries, science labs, sports fields, and even a pool! How cool is that? But as exciting as all that sounds, Jessica says the most meaningful part of college isn't the fancy buildings or the size of the campus. It's something much more important. Are you ready to find out what it is? Okay, here goes...The most meaningful thing in college life is making new friends!I know what you're thinking - "Friends? That's it?" But these aren't just any old friends. College friends are really special because you get to meet people from all over the world withdifferent backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and experiences. Jessica has made friends from China, Brazil, Nigeria, and even Australia! Some of her friends practice different religions or speak multiple languages. It's awesome! In elementary school, a lot of us have known each other since we were little kids. We come from the same neighborhood and have pretty similar lives. But in college, you're suddenly surrounded by people who have grown up in totally different places and environments. Jessica says it really opens your eyes to how big and diverse the world is.Not only that, but college friends have a unique bond because you're all going through the same challenging experience together. Dealing with tough classes, staying up late to study, stressing over exams and papers - it's a lot of work! But Jessica and her friends all help and support each other. They'll go to the library as a group, swap class notes, proofread each other's essays, and even bring snacks to share during crunch times. It's like having a whole team on your side, cheering you on.Another cool thing is that college friends can introduce you to new interests, hobbies and perspectives that you never knew existed. One of Jessica's friends is really into acoustic guitar andtaught her how to play some chords. Another friend is vegan and has inspired her to be more environmentally-conscious. A third friend is super athletic and got Jessica into running club and rock climbing. It's so neat to explore different parts of yourself through your friends!Of course, making good college friends isn't always easy. Sometimes people have very different personalities or lifestyles that clash. There can be arguments, misunderstandings and even times when friends drift apart for a while. Jessica says that's all just part of the growing experience though. Learning how to communicate, compromise and work through conflicts in a mature way is a hugely important life skill that college friends help each other develop. The connections you make in college can last forever too. A lot of Jessica's friends plan to stay in the same city after graduation so they can continue being close. Some have already talked about being each other's bridesmaids and even godparents to future kids one day! How cool is that?So while the academics, activities and settings at college are all amazing, the most meaningful part is getting to make an incredibly diverse group of new friends. These special bonds and shared experiences can teach you so much about yourself andthe world around you. They can expose you to fresh ideas, challenge your way of thinking, and help you grow into your best self. That's why I think making new friends is definitely the highlight of college life. Sure, learning in classrooms and labs is important too. But the friends you meet and grow with are what turn college into a truly life-changing adventure full of unforgettable memories. I can't wait until it's my turn in a few years! Let me know if you have any other questions about this topic - I may be just a kid but my big sis has given me the full scoop on college life. Until next time!。

大学生英语演讲稿(5篇)I have been in University for about one year. During my stay here, I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke. We experience all tastes of life here, sour, sweet, bitter and hot.I am from Province, which is far away from here. I often miss my Mum, friends, and relatives in my hometown. However, I cant see them very often. So loneliness always keeps me company. I am sad that I cant be there with them.Lucky for me, life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time,we can do many more things besides study, such as joining societies clubs, and taking part-time jobs. Such activities not only make our life more colorful, but also help us improve all kinds of skills. The university is a society miniature, what we learn here will benefit our future life. Our path in life will not always be smooth. Setbacks cant be avoided. Failing an important exam, break up with boy or girl friend, or refused by a promising company, such setbacks are likely to get us down. Sometimes we fell so frustrated that we even burst into tears. Drinkin coke is wonderful, despite the undesirble consequenthiccups. Its bitter, sour and peppery, but also sweet. And youll even feel excited after gulping down a glass. A college experience is part of growing up. We cry, smile, fall in love, get hurt, leave, learn and then we become a better person.University life is like drinking coke. Im experiencing it. And I know, I enjoy it!我始终在大学呆了一年多。
大学里令人印象深刻的事情英语作文The Most Awesomest Day at College!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm going to tell you about the coolest, most fun, bestest day I ever had at college. It was seriously so amazing, I can't wait to share all the details with you!It all started on a sunny Tuesday morning. I woke up feeling super excited because I knew we were going on a really neat field trip that day in my Biology class. We were going to visit a huge science museum in the city to see their new dinosaur exhibit! I love dinosaurs more than anything, so I could hardly contain my happiness.I got dressed in my favorite dinosaur t-shirt with a big T-Rex on the front. Then I grabbed my backpack filled with dino notebooks, dino pencils, and even a little plastic dinosaur figurine to bring with me. My mom made me a sandwich and packed me an extra special dinosaur snack too - dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets! Yum!The bus ride to the museum seemed to take forever. All my friends and I could talk about was how pumped we were to see the real life dinosaur bones and fossils. We sang dinosaur songs and roared at each other like hungry raptors the whole way there. Our professor, who's actually pretty fun for an adult, even joined in on the roaring at one point. He's a super nice guy. When we finally arrived, the dinosaur exhibit was the first thing we went to see. It was honestly the hugest, mostmind-blowing thing I've ever witnessed! There were gigantic skeletons and fossils of all my favorite dinosaurs - triceratops, brontosaurus, T-Rex, stegosaurus, you name it! They even had a whole room filled with just dinosaur skulls of all shapes and sizes. Some had horns, some had spikes, some had razor sharp teeth. It was insane! We got to learn all about how dinosaurs lived, what they ate, how they hunted, and even how they raised their babies. There were interactive exhibits that let you put on goggles to see through a dinosaur's eyes. You could stomp around and listen to what their footsteps might have sounded like. My personal favorite was the dig pit where you could use little brushes to dust off fake dinosaur bones buried in the sand, just like a real paleontologist! After the dinosaur exhibit, we went to some other really cool sections too. We saw a massive display of glowing gems and minerals from all over the world. The colors and sparkles were unreal! Then we visited the space area with real meteorites, model rockets, and even a space shuttle simulator. I got to pretend to be an astronaut and launch into outer space. Blasttoff! The whole day was just one amazing experience after another. We ended our trip at the gift shop, where I begged my mom to buy me a stuffed T-Rex. She gave in and I named him Rex-y. I was one happy camper! On the bus ride back to campus, we were all totally worn out from walking around and learning so much. But we were still grinning from ear to ear, talking nonstop about how awesome everything was that we saw. A bunch of my friends even said it was officially the best field trip ever! I have to agree. That night at dinner, I told my parents every single detail of the trip, showing off Rex-y and all the dinosaur souvenirs I got. I'm pretty sure I drove them crazy rambling on and on about dinosaurs for hours. But they didn't seem to mind. I think they were just happy to see how thrilled I was by the whole experience.College has been great so far, but that field trip to the dinosaur and science museum was definitely the highlights of my first semester. I'll never forget how much fun I had roaming around looking at real dinosaur bones, getting my hands dirty inthe dig pit, and bonding with my friends over our shared love of those amazing prehistoric creatures.I really hope I get to go on more field trips like that soon! Although, I'm not sure if anything could top a full day immersed in the world of dinosaurs. Maybe if we get to go to space next? Now that would be out of this world! Okay, okay, I'll stop with the lame jokes. But seriously, that museum trip gets two Triceratops-sized thumbs up from me! The end!。

学校生活发生的重要的事英语作文My Most Memorable School DayLast year, something truly amazing happened at my elementary school – something I'll never forget! It was a regular Monday morning when my class arrived. We hung up our backpacks and sat at our desks like we always did. But little did we know, this day would turn out to be extraordinary. Our teacher, Mrs. Parker, called us to the reading corner where we gathered around her on the colorful rug. "Boys and girls," she announced with a big smile, "I have a very special surprise for all of you today!" We looked at each other, our eyes wide with curiosity. What could it be?Mrs. Parker explained that a unique visitor would be coming to our classroom. "He's someone you've probably seen on TV or read about in books," she hinted. We began guessing wildly – a famous athlete? A movie star? The president?! The suspense was killing us!Finally, there was a knock at the door, and Mrs. Parker went to open it. In walked a tall man wearing a bright red spacesuit. We gasped in disbelief. It was an actual astronaut from NASA!"Hello, young explorers!" the astronaut boomed in a friendly voice. "My name is Commander Steve Richards, and I'm here to teach you all about space travel." You could've heard a pin drop – we were utterly starstruck!Commander Richards began by showing us videos of real rocket launches and spacewalks. Seeing the incredible footage of astronauts floating weightlessly above the Earth wasmind-blowing. We peppered him with a million questions: What does space smell like? How do you go to the bathroom in zero gravity? Do you really drink food through a straw? The commander patiently answered every single one, clearly thrilled by our enthusiasm. His experiences sounded like something out of a science fiction movie! But the best part was yet to come. From a duffel bag, Commander Richards pulled out a bundle of thick orange material – it was an actual space suit! He laid it on the floor and let each of us try it on over our clothes. I'll never forget the way it felt – sort of like wearing a heavy-duty safety vest made of high-tech fabric.Once we all had our turn, the commander gathered us around again. This time, he asked us to describe how we'd design our own spacecraft for a mission to Mars. We split intoteams, working together to sketch blueprints and brainstorm ideas. My team decided our ship would be shaped like a bunny to make it extra cute for our first journey to another planet! When we shared our designs, Commander Richards praised every single one. "You kids all have the makings of great astronauts and engineers," he told us warmly. "With creativity and teamwork like this, there's no limit to what you can achieve."All too soon, it was time for the commander to depart. But before he left, he had one final surprise – an autographed photo of himself on the Space Shuttle for each of us to take home! We thanked him profusely, feeling like the luckiest kids in the whole universe. That awe-inspiring visit from Commander Richards is a day I'll cherish forever. It opened my eyes to the vast wonders of space exploration and ignited a passion for science. Who knows, maybe someday I'll have the chance to walk in the commander's footsteps and become an astronaut myself! The sky is nowhere near the limit for the dreams that incredible school day inspired in me.。
大学生责任英语演讲稿大学生责任英语演讲稿:I'm grateful that I've been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, to stand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at the past 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well.Though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and only a tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, I believe, the root of a spirit which has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. In my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hard but somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons.Later in my life, I continued to experience many failures. But never again did I feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heart satisfied to think that I have always done everything in my power to fulfill my responsibilities as best I can.Words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Such is the era in which this generation ,grows and matures. We learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people looking on and not assisting. We hear that there are still about 1 million children in this country who can't even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of money are being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars.We buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, that aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality and responsibility.Such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action and solve the problems. History has long been preparing these qualities in this generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism and heroism towards this nation and all humanity.Standing here now, I think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student. Probably I'll be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. But this doesn't discourage me any, for I know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to always strive, for the best, it's going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that I will be living.I can't ever forget that little girl in my class who couldn't had the same opportunities as any of us here to enjoy a wonderful life today and a hopeful world tomorrow. It is the sacred responsibility of this generation to face up to the challenges of the new century and to devote our sweat and blood, our wisdom and passion, to the historic cause of making this nation a greater and happier land for every one of us.We are not going to evade that responsibility. We are going to let people down. And people, far and near, will hear of us. Frost will be brought to their backbonesand tears to their eyes when our stories are told and retold, So let us go forth, my fellow members of this luckily chosen generation, and meet the new century in victory and glory.中文翻译:责任感——青年人荣誉的标志今天我站在台上面对大家,我心情十分冲动。

大学里面学到的最重要的事情英语作文The Most Important Stuff I Learned in CollegeHi there! My name is Jamie and I just graduated from university. Wow, was it ever a wild ride! College was totally different from elementary school and middle school. There was so much new stuff to learn and experience. When I first got to campus, I was really nervous. Everything seemed so big and grown-up. The buildings were huge, there were tons of students everywhere, and my classes had hundreds of kids in them instead of just 20 or 30 like back in grade school. It was kind of scary at first! But after a little while, I started getting used to things. The hardest part was living away from my parents and being totally responsible for myself. In elementary school, my mom always made sure I did my homework, got to bed on time, and ate decent food. Suddenly, I was the one in charge of all that grown-up stuff. It was rough going at first, let me tell you!I'll never forget the first few weeks. My dorm room was a total pigsty. Empty pizza boxes, old socks, and crumpled up papers were everywhere! And my sleep schedule was a disaster. I was staying up until 3am playing video games and then sleepingthrough my morning classes. My parents would have killed me if they saw how I was living!Thankfully, I straightened myself out eventually. I learned that keeping my room clean made me feel better and sleep better. Establishing a routine for doing laundry, cleaning up, and getting enough sleep was really important for my productivity and wellbeing. Developing those kinds of life skills and habits was one of the biggest things I took away from college.Of course, the classes themselves were really valuable too. I had to pick a major and take a ton of classes in that specific field of study. For me, that was computer science. I learned all about programming languages, algorithms, database design, and a whole lot of other incredibly complex and challenging concepts. Some of it was really hard and I struggled a lot. Looking back though, pushing through those difficult classes and materialstrongtoned my perseverance and grit.In addition to the classes for my major, I also had to take classes in other subjects like writing, history, philosophy, and science. At first, I didn't see the point. Why did I need to study ancient Greece when I wanted to be a software developer? Over time though, I realized how important it was to receive awell-rounded education and be exposed to ideas from manydifferent fields. It helped me become a more critical thinker and a more knowledgeable person overall.Something else I hadn't expected was how much I would learn simply by living away from home and being around new people from all over. My roommate was from the other side of the country and my friends were from different religions, races, and backgrounds than me. Hanging out with them, listening to their perspectives, and immersing myself in the diversity on campus taught me so much about the world beyond my hometown. It really opened my eyes!College was also where I first had to seriously manage my own money, time, priorities, and decisions. There was a lot of freedom, but also a lot of responsibility. I had to choose how to spend my time between classes, studying, working a part-time job, hanging out with friends, and everything else. I had to figure out how to budget so I didn't go broke. And I had to make good choices when it came to partying too much, procrastinating on assignments, or anything else that could derail my studies. It wasn't always easy, but I'm really glad I had those experiences to prepare me for life after graduation.Looking back, I can't even begin to summarize everything I learned during my four years of college. The academics wereinvaluable, of course. But I also gained important life skills, expanded my worldview, challenged myself, and grew so much as a person. College was tough, but it equipped me with the tools, knowledge, and maturity I need to go out and take on the real world. I feel prepared, capable, and ready for the next adventures that life has in store!。
大学印象最深的一件事三年级英语作文English: One of the most memorable experiences I had in university was when I participated in a cultural exchange program with students from a university in Japan. It was a week-long program where we got to learn about each other's cultures, traditions, and interesting facts about our respective countries. The most impactful moment for me was when we had a cooking session together, where we learned how to make traditional dishes from both Japan and my country. It was a fun and enriching experience to see how food can bring people together and create a sense of unity despite our cultural differences. This experience not only broadened my understanding of different cultures but also taught me the importance of embracing diversity and building connections with people from all over the world.中文翻译: 在大学的一个让我印象深刻的经历是我参加了一个与日本大学学生进行文化交流的项目。
A Moment in College That Left Its MarkCollege is a tapestry of experiences, each thread a memory, and some memories are more vibrant and impactful than others. One such moment that stands out in my college journey was when I joined the debate team.It was a chilly autumn evening, and the auditorium was buzzing with anticipation. The first debate of the season was about to begin, and I was one of the participants. My heart was pounding, my palms were sweaty, and I felt a rush of adrenaline unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. The topic was one I was passionate about: the role of technology in modern society. As I stood up to deliver my opening statement, I felt a surge of confidence. The words flowed, my arguments were clear, and the connection I felt with the audience was electric. It was like I was in my element, a place where my voice mattered and my ideas could make a difference. The debate was intense, a battle of wits and eloquence. The opposing team was formidable, but so was my team. We parried and thrust with facts and logic, each point landing with a satisfying impact. The applause at the end was deafening, but it wasn't the victory that mattered; it was the exhilaration of the contest, the respect of my peers, and the realization that I could hold my own on such a stage. This experience was more than just a victory for the debate team; it was a turning point for me. It was a moment of self-discovery, a testament to myability to articulate my thoughts and engage with complex issues. It was a spark that ignited a newfound passion for public speaking and leadership.Looking back, I can't help but feel a sense of pride and gratitude. Pride in what I accomplished that night and gratitude for the opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself. It was a moment that taught me the value of hard work, the importance of teamwork, and the power of believing in oneself. In the end, that debate was just the beginning. It opened doors to new experiences, new friendships, and a journey of personal growth that I am still on today. It's a memory that I carry with me, a reminder of what I'm capable of and the potential that lies within each of us, just waiting to be unlocked. As I continue my college journey, I carry the lessons of that debate with me. It's a reminder to step out of my comfort zone, to embrace challenges, and to never stop striving for excellence. It's a moment that has left its mark, not just on my college years, but on my life.。

三分钟演讲稿 Dear teachers, dear students: hello everyone! The topic of my speech is "the hardness of life" The vast desert, a tree stand, the show is a monument to the image. Towering mountains, thousands of tree stand up, as is a magnificent the Great Wall. The long river, all the trees stood up into a dragon of glory. We are a symbol of too much, and too much. But I believe that my image is not "the gentlest hands, skin, such as Diorskin" Lin Daiyu, nor is the modern "unkempt and shabby","Su Qier". We are a symbol of hope and vitality. So we show in front of others should be inserted without pleats, face without scale, modest and polite gestures exudes a stream of heroic spirit, the image of the vigor and vitality of the modern new youth, a into the embodiment of the spirit of nature. Someone once said, life is a kind of hardness, integrity and dignity of life is propped up the hardness of bone. "Better life" and "the Kui back in the day, and not ashamed on the ground", which is always the traditional virtue of the China. Li Bai's "the eyebrow nengcui Zheyaoshan powerful thing, so that I may not be happy Yan" this awe inspiring atmosphere of the verse and whether it will make those no self-esteem people to shame? Loss of self-esteem is a worthless person, and we as the vanguard of the times, if drown in the darkness forever, or to do a dauntless hero, a flower in the wind and rain sonorous rose. The answer is self-evident. Desert desolate also has the monument stands, Castle Peak again proud, but also have the great wall around, the river again quiet, also there is a dragon in the recumbent. But the time can be changed, our image, our glory remains the same. Because we pride, because we are confident, because we have a fresh life. And because of this, it is a vast desert riparian long, Qingshan was evergreen, the hardness of life is forever.

The Most Unforgettable Thing That Happened in CollegeHey there! I'm just a kid, but my big brother went to college and he told me all about the craziest thing that happened to him while he was there. It's a pretty wild story, so you better listen up!It all started on a regular day during his junior year. My brother was majoring in engineering, which meant he had a ton of tough classes and spent most of his time studying in the library or tinkering away in the lab. But on this particular day, he had gotten out of class early and decided to head back to his dorm room for a little nap before dinner. When he got to his dorm building, he could already tell something was off. There were fire trucks and police cars outside, with their lights flashing everywhere. And a huge crowd of students had gathered, all looking very confused and concerned. My brother had a bad feeling in his gut.He pushed through the crowd to find out what was going on. That's when he saw it - smoke was pouring out of the windows on the third floor, which was where his room was located! His heart dropped into his stomach. All of his belongings, hiscomputer with his work, his clothes and other personal items –everything he owned was in that room. The firefighters were already inside trying to put out the blaze. My brother felt completely helpless watching it all unfold. After what felt like an eternity, they finally got the fire under control. But the damage had been done – his entire room was charred and soaked. Nothing could be salvaged. When they finally let the students back in to survey the aftermath, my brother couldn't believe his eyes. The floors were covered in inches of murky water. Burned furniture and belongings littered the hallway. The whole place reeked of smoke. And his room was completely gutted – just a hollow shell of burned walls and rubble. He was devastated.Over the next few days, it became clear that an old electrical outlet in the common room had malfunctioned and started the fire. Thank goodness no one was injured, but dozens of students were left homeless, including my brother. The university had to find temporary housing for everyone while that wing of the building was repaired and refurbished, which took months. In the short term, my brother had to crash on friends' couches and floors. He threw away what was left of his charred possessions and started from scratch, slowly replacing histextbooks, clothes, and electronics one item at a time. It was really hard for him, both emotionally and financially. But you know what? My brother persevered and made it through that awful semester. The university gave him and the other displaced students some money to help replace their most essential belongings. And despite losing his computer with months' worth of work on it, he was able to pull his grades back up by the end of the term.He told me that going through that fire, as terrible as it was, ended up teaching him a lot of valuable lessons. He learned how to be more organized and back up his important files. He appreciated having good friends who supported him when times were tough. And most of all, he realized that material possessions come and go, but your perseverance and strength of character are what really matter in life.So there you have it – the tale of the crazy dorm fire that my brother lived through in college. It was definitely the most dramatic, unexpected, and hardship-filled experience of his university years. But like he told me, making it through that fire made him a stronger, wiser, and more resilient person. Sometimes you have to go through the flames to becomefire-proof, ya know? Those are the kinds of intense challenges and life lessons that await you at college. I may be just a kid, but I'll always remember this story. And when I'm older and it's my turn to go to university, you'd better believe I'll back up my files and keep my room neat as a pin! I don't want to go through an ordeal like that fire. But if I do face adversity, I'll try my best to have the perseverance and inner strength my brother showed. Mark my words!。
大学生活的一件事英语作文During my time in college, one of the most memorable experiences I had was participating in a cultural exchange program organized by the university. This program allowed students from different countries to come together, share their cultures, and learn from each other.I was paired with a student from Japan, and we spenta week together exploring each other's cultures. We visited local museums, tried traditional foods, and even attended language exchange sessions. Through this experience, I not only learned about the rich history and traditions of Japan but also developed a deep friendship with my Japanese partner. One of the most impactful moments of the cultural exchange program was when we had a cultural sharing night, where students from each country presented traditional dances, songs, and customs. It was amazing to see how diverse and colorful the world truly is, and how much we can learn from each other's differences. This experience not only broadened my perspective and cultural awareness but also taught me the importance of embracing diversity and building connections with peoplefrom different backgrounds. It was a truly eye-opening and enriching experience that I will always cherish.

responsibility is a badge of honour for youth (96年“21世纪杯全国大学生英语演讲比赛”二等奖获得者,北京外国语大学徐义成) im grateful that ive been given this opportunity, at such a historic moment, tostand here as a spokesman of my generation and to take a serious look back at thepast 15 years, a crucial period for every one of us and for this nation as well. though it is only within my power to tell about my personal experience, and onlya tiny fragment of it at that, it still represents, i believe, the root of a spiritwhich has been essential to me and to all the people bred by the past 15 years. in my elementary years, there was a little girl in the class who worked very hardbut somehow could never do satisfactorily in her lessons. the teacher asked me to help her, and it was obvious that she expected a lot fromme. but as a young boy, restless, thoughtless, i always tried to evade her so as toget more time to enjoy myself. one day before the final exam, she came up to meand said, could you please explain this to me? i want very much to do better thistime. i started explaining, and finished in a hurry. pretending not to notice her still confused eyes, i ran off quickly. natsurprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. and two months later, at thebeginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. no one everknew about the little task i failed to fulfill, but i couldnt forgive myself. i simplycouldnt forget her eyes, which seem to be asking, why didnt you do a little more tohelp me, when it was so easy for you? why didnt you understand a little better thetrust placed in you, so that i would not have to leave this world in such pain andregret?i was about eight or nine years old at that time, but in a way it was the verystarting point of my life, for i began to understand the word responsibility and tolearn to always do my duties faithfully and devotedly, for the implications of thatsacred word has dawned on me: the mutual need and trust of people, the co-operationand inter-reliance which are the very foundation of human society. later in my life, i continued to experience many failures. but never again didi feel that regret which struck me at the death of the girl, for it makes my heartsatisfied to think that i have always done everything in my power to fulfill myresponsibilities as best i can. words like individuality and creativity are getting more emphasis and more peopleare rewarded for their hard work and efforts. such is the era in which thisgeneration ,grows and matures. such is the era in which this generation will take over the nation from our fathersand learn to run it. yet in the meantime, many problems still exist. we learn that crimes take place in broad daylight with crowds of people lookingon and not assisting. we hear that there are still about 1 million children in thiscountry who cant even afford to go to elementary schools while enormous sums of moneyare being squandered away on dinner parties and luxury cars. we buy shoddy medicines, or merely worthless junk in the name of medicines, thataggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, isthe most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of moralityand responsibility.such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clearperception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take actionand solve the problems. history has long been preparing these qualities in thisgeneration and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patriotism andheroism towards this nation and all humanity. standing here now, i think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student.probably ill be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. but this doesnt discourageme any, for i know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to alwaysstrive, for the best, its going to be a meaningful and worthwhile life that i willbe living.standing here now, i think of the past 15 years of this nation, which has achievedgreatness that inspired millions of people of my age, most of whom will not attainfame or prestige and only a few of whom will be remembered by posterity. but thatdoesnt discourage us any, because we i cant ever forget that little girl in my class who couldnt had the sameopportunities as any of us here to enjoy a wonderful life today and a hopeful worldtomorrow.it is the sacred responsibility of this generation to face up to the challengesof the new century and to devote our sweat and blood, our wisdom and passion, to thehistoric cause of making this nation a greater and happier land for every one of us. we are not going to evade that responsibility. we are going to let people down.and people, far and near, will hear of us. frost will be brought to their backbonesand tears to their eyes when our stories are told and retold, so let us go forth,my fellow members of this luckily chosen generation, and meet the new century invictory and glory.责任感——青年人荣誉的标志站在台上面对大家,我心情十分激动。
