第一章立体构成概论一、立体构成的概念1、立体:指具有三维度的空间。
2、构成:具有组合、拼装、构造的意思。
将相同或不同形态的几个以上的单元重新组合成为一个新的单元并赋予视觉化的力学观念。
3、立体构成:就是在三度空间中,把具有三维的形态要素,按照形式美的构成原理,进行组合、拼装、构造,从而创造一个符合设计意图的,具有一事实上美感的,全新的三维形态的过程。
二、立体构成的起源与发展1、构成思想的萌芽最早出现在风格派与构成主义运动中。
2、1919年德国韦玛创立包豪斯学院,成为世界上第一所设计学院,开创了人类史上设计教育的新纪元。
3、1921年,荷兰“风格派”艺术运动代表人物凡·杜斯伯格来到了包豪斯学院。
带来了“风格派”和“构成主义”的现代设计思潮,致力于追求艺术与科学,工业与生活的结合,强调几何形体、空间和色彩的构成效果。
构成教学逐渐在包豪斯占据了主要地位。
我们现在的构成课程就是在包豪斯开始得到初步的确立。
三、立体构成的教学1、我国的构成教育在二十世纪年代末,随着中国的改革开放的逐步深入,在国外工业设计思潮的影响下,构成教育也逐步进入我国。
到二十世纪80年代末期,构成教育经历10年左右的培育,我国的构成教育已基本在大中专院校普及,并已基本确定了三大构成(平面构成、色彩构成、立体构成)为设计类专业的基础科目。
2、艺术家和艺术设计师的区别艺术家的责任是团结人民,教育人民,政治内容是第一位的;艺术设计师的责任是创造美好生活,陶冶情操,强调健康美好的形式,并使艺术性与实用性统一在一件作品中。
艺术家和艺术设计师都要创造美的形态,但艺术家表现的主要是既有形态(模特儿),并依靠形象思维进行创造;艺术设计师则是创造一个从未存在过的新形态,必须领先逻辑思维与形象思维相结合,即分析构成要素并获得众多的组合方案,再经过优选后深入发展。
艺术家的美感可以是个性的、特殊的,艺术设计师的美感却必须是共性的、普遍的,否则,设计将因不被接受而不能成立。
故而艺术设计师要研究所有形态的本质美。
艺术家的创作是即兴的,自由的,结果是浪漫的表面形态,其艺术效果可以凭邂逅获得;艺术设计师的创作是有条件的(材料、结构、功能、施工等)、有目的的、有期限的,结果是从内到外相统一的形态。
艺术设计师必须根据造型规律去创造、凭艺术感觉去发展。
为此,艺术设计师必须掌握造型的知觉和心理知识。
艺术家从事的艺术生产多是个人亲自完成的,主要是单件的、不计成本的,材料和加工法,形态都不受限制;艺术设计师的作品则一般是由施工单位来实现的,且往往是批量的、经济的,对材料、加工法和形态的要求是有限制的。
艺术设计师更强调技术意识和工业化的现代特征。
艺术设计师必须具备“协同、责任、艺术、科学”的综合素质。
3、立体构成与现代雕塑的关系1.原始主义:它是现代艺术反对传统艺术的最先借用手段。
在原始艺术中的图腾、生命意识、生殖崇拜都是以单纯的形象,简洁夸张的符号出现。
同时,也带给人一种神秘感和野趣。
这与传统雕塑中真实体积的模拟、细腻逼真的造型比例,形成了鲜明的对照。
2、立体主义来自于方块风格几何学模式,追求体积、量感,抽象的空间,拼凑形式。
立体主义的雕塑构成形式受原始艺术的影响。
3、未来主义赞美机械世界,而且在革命和战争中看到社会的理性,探索机械化,现代工业技术以及速度的运动美。
4、构成主义从立体主义拼帖样式转化成三度空间的点、线、面的抽象构成形式。
5、达达主义达达的精神是对极端受限制的文化的反抗和呐喊,对司空见惯的物体异常并置排列,重新组织形态。
两项重要的革新:1 使用现成品2 活动雕塑挑战传统艺术观念,挑战艺术家自我意识,挑战艺术自身的状态和批评的标准以及观众对于艺术的心理期待风格主义强调几何形抽象和简化,以数学式结构直线,横线与斜线去追求纯粹性必然性和规律性。
(一)立体构成与现代雕塑的关系1.超现实主义:神秘的诗歌,梦中的世界与弗洛伊德的潜意识境界,某种联想形式的超现实性联系,确信梦幻万能。
作品的特征大致是没有五官表情、朦胧状态和骨架式的构成。
将古典造型转化为原始艺术造型。
融合立体主义、抽象主义和超现实主义的朦胧状态形体夸张——增大减少——结构的体积量感——弹性拓扑变化——挖孔打洞,寻求空间——裂变。
2.集合艺术:将日常物体现成品或是机器零件组合在一起,表现形式的美感,情绪的联想。
3.抽象表现主义取用战后废弃的金属材料雕塑造型。
4.动态艺术反映新的机械运动形式。
工业的文明创造出新的生产力,同时也创造出新的速度、空间、材料和运动方式。
再次掀起机器化构成。
动态雕塑不仅使用风力、电力,还使用光线变化和磁力的变化。
5.波普艺术反叛抽象艺术中自我概念,提倡商业文化和大众文化。
波普艺术的核心是复制,将日常生活中的产品放大。
波普艺术的复制概念让人想起了现成品的使用。
以及所造成的联想作用。
由于波普艺术和达达艺术的这种关系,也有人称之为“新达达艺术。
”6.极少主义极少主义对于形式和哲理之间的联系导致了它们之间的作品大部分是各种体积的排列和组合。
从视觉上看,充满着直线线条和曲线线条的趣味。
极少主义是美术上的又一次革命。
7.大地艺术后极少主义艺术的另一个流派是大地艺术。
他们将艺术搬出画廊和社会,安放在空旷的大自然中,使之成为巨大的、固定的地景(二)后现代装置艺术装置艺术又称“环境艺术”。
它广泛存在于公共环境和室内建筑中,又展示在美术馆、画廊和许多媒体上,它不受艺术门类限制,拥抱兼容造型之外,去表明人类的思想观念,已成为后现代艺术的象征。
装置艺术的特点:1.装置艺术首先是一个能使观众置身其中的独立的三度空间环境。
2.观众介入和参与是装置艺术不可分割的一部分。
装置艺术是人们生活经验的延伸。
3.装置艺术创造的环境,是用来包容观众、促使甚至迫使观众在界定的空间内由被动观赏转换成主动感受,这种感受要求观众除了积极思维和肢体介入外,还要使用包括视觉、听觉、触觉、嗅觉……甚至味觉在内的所有感官。
4.装置艺术不受艺术门类的限制,它自由地综合使用绘画、雕塑、建筑、音乐、戏剧、诗歌、散文、电影、电视、录音、录像、摄影等任何能够使用的手段。
5.为了激活观众的感受,有时是为了扰乱观众的习惯性思维,那些刺激感官的因素往往经过夸张、强化或异化。
6.一般说来,装置艺术供短期展览,不是供收藏的艺术。
7.装置艺术是可变的艺术。
艺术家既可以在展览期间改变组合,也可在异地展览时,增减或重新组合。
1.贫困艺术通常选择的是贫困的日用材料。
在图像表面看来肮脏、粗鄙之下内容却充满着艺术特有的诗意和高贵的气质,使艺术成为一种政治诗学。
2.女权主义在20世纪70年代初再度掀起,对于两性差异的正确理解上,就是强调用女性的目光来诠释原来由男性诠释的社会、历史和两性关系。
3.装置艺术:在装置艺术中,最主要的材料就是“观念”。
只要有好的观念,才会有更好的作品。
形式构成已是随手可得, 它服务于观念。
4.室内装置:在室内装置中,综合使用绘画、雕塑、音乐、戏曲、诗歌等艺术手段来整体地影响观众,这是装置艺术的另一种表现方式。
5.环境装置:在室外“艺术造街”或“野营扎寨”是造型艺术向观念艺术发展的新的途径。
6.行为装置:第二章立体构成的构成要素一、空间1、物理空间(实空间):指物质形态实体所限定的空间,即物质形态存在的形式。
2、心理空间(虚空间):指空间的心理感受(即空间感)。
它是物质形态的空间实体(物理空间)向四周的扩张或延伸的结果,即实空间以外的空间部分。
二、形态形状:指物质形态在特定位置,特定距离,特定角度与特殊环境等条件下,呈现出的物质外貌。
形态:是指物质形态的整个外貌。
也就是说,形态的概念要远远大于形状的概念,形状仅是形态的无数面各中的一个面向的外轮廓;而形态是无数形状的集合,是无数形状的一个综合概念体。
(一)形态分类:1.自然形态:是在客观自然环境里因自然的力量成就的形态。
2.人造形态:是指人类根据自身的生存需要而创造的物质形态。
3.具象形态:是一种模仿自然的基本思路, 依照客观物象的本来面貌构造的写实形态,其形态与实际形态相近,反映物象的细节真实和典型性的本质真实.4.抽象形态:是在自然形态的模仿造型之上,再度提炼和简化,创造出的观念符号。
使人无法辨清原始的形象及意义,它是以纯粹的几何观念提升的客观意义的形态。
是具象形态的升华,是人类对美的追求心理的一种新的思维方式,属于造型的进一步阶段。
(二)立体构成中形态基本要素1、点(点材):点是立体构成中最基本的元素,它具有求心性.醒目性,在视觉艺术信息的传达中总是先取得心理的表象。
点的体积有大有小,形状多样,排列成线,放射成面,堆积成体。
点的空间表现:空为虚,实为体,两点含线,三点含面,四点含体。
点的视觉心理:对视时有驱邪功能,秩序排列时感觉庄严,疏密散乱时感觉动荡。
点可以表现各种情感因素。
点的构成形式表现:1)秩序规则,集聚排列的点;2) 面的交界处,顶角产生的点3)线的顶端产生的点;4) 打洞、挖孔设立的点。
5)结构中设立的点。
2.线(线材):在立体构成中,线是具有长度、宽度和深度三度空间的实体,线的形态上不仅有粗细,长短、曲直、弧折的变化;线的质感有软硬、刚柔、光滑、粗糙之别。
在具有三度空间的实体中,只要长度、宽度和深度中有任一因素占有绝对的长,则该实体就会呈现出视觉上的线(材)感。
线的形态和情感性格曲线:具有丰富变化,有弹力和动感,富于柔软、温和、幽雅的情调,具有女性化性格。
曲线—几何曲线:较为规范、有次序、理性、单纯而冷漠。
—自由曲线:自然、伸展极富变化,更能展现曲线的属性。
直线:直率简洁、目的性强、强直而有力度、具有男性化性格。
直线—垂直线:具有严肃、庄重、强直、向上的性格。
古人称为“栋”。
—水平线:较为静止、安定、平和、伸展、古人称为“梁”。
—斜线:有前进、飞跃、冲刺的动感,可以使造型充满活力。
垂直线和水平线都给人以稳定感,在物质形态构成中,起到稳定、规范、调和的作用。
3.面(面材)面是线的移动轨迹,也是由体块切割后而形成。
面在立体构成中同样是具有长度,宽度和深度三度空间的实体,有别于几何学中面(只有长度和宽度,没有深度的二次元)。
面具有较强的延展感,有更多的构成体块的机会,只要把面进行简单的加工,就可以产生体块。
面具有较强的视觉感,能较好地表现立体构成中的肌理要素。
面材的形态:直面和曲面。
面的表面形状的不同,会产生不同形状的面材。
不同形状的面给人不同的视觉感受。
直线面:简洁、单纯、尖锐、硬朗几何曲线面:饱满、圆浑、规范、完美自由曲线面:自然、活泼、丰富、温柔。
面的构成形式:(1)二点五维拼贴构成。
(2)板式构成:由面材折叠拼贴而成,可以增强半立体的感觉。
另外,还可以进行切割、挖洞、卷曲成柱体的造型。
(3)插接构成:将面材切割后接插在一起,插缝长比较牢固。
