Computer & Control AbstractsComputer & Control Abstracts (CCA) is one of a series of abstracts publications produced by INSPEC. Published monthly by the Institution of Electrical Engineers, in association with the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers Inc., it forms the world’s major English-language abstracting service covering the fields of computer and control engineering.SUBJECT SCOPE & COVERAGEThe aim of Computer & Control Abstracts is to cover all aspects of computers and control. An impression of its scope can be gained from the subject classification scheme in the CLASSIFICA-TION AND CONTENTS which appears opposite. The information contained in Computer & Control Abstracts is derived from a wide range of sources including journals, reports, books, dissertations, and conference papers published in all countries and languages of the world. The number of items currently included is over 70,000 per year.JOURNALS SCANNEDA full list of the journals scanned for the INSPEC services is published in the July-December cumulative author indexes to CCA. Additions and amendments to this list are included in CCA towards to the end of the issue for each month, and are cumulated in the January-June cumulative author indexes. A separate publication, INSPEC List of Journals and Other Serial Sources, lists all sources alphabetically under full title, with additional lists under CODEN, ISSN, abbreviated title and country of publication. Prices on request from INSPEC Marketing Department.FORM OF ENTRYAll entries in Computer & Control Abstracts follow the same basic pattern. The following example identifies individual parts of a typical entry for a journal article.Entries for other types of paper differ mainly in the reference to the source. For example, the entry for a report will refer to the report series and number, while for a conference paper; reference will be made to the title, date and place of the conference at which the paper was presented.
