2、翻译活动是艺术还是科学？

翻译活动都必须经过（1）理解（2）表达两个程序，该程序中人的主观创造
思维起决定作用，而不受客观规律的约束。因此，翻译的性质是艺术，翻译实践是艺术创造。
二、翻译的种类
1、以归宿点分，有英译汉与汉译英。
任何一种语言，在长期使用的过程中，会形成一种固定的词组或常见的搭配。这些比较固定的说法，有时可以译成另一种语言，有时则不行。翻译时，必须注意英汉两种语言中词的不同搭配。

He killed his chances of success. 他断送了成功的机会。
译文： 1、她曾期待某种奇迹般的解决办法，这是
不合逻辑的。
2. His failure to observe the safety regulations resulted in an accident to the machinery.

四、翻译的过程
翻译的过程即正确的理解原文和创造性的用另一种语言再现原文的
