Teaching aims and demands
◆Get some ideas about cloning and the procedure of How Dolly was produced
◆Grasp some important words and expressions,
◆To study The Appositive (clause)
◆ Help the students to form the right idea about cloning.
Step 1 Warming up
Showing some clone pictures, we can have a introduction of clone and lead into the topic of
the material. And make sure the students are clear with the natural clones or man-made
clone.
Step 2 Fast –reading
Let the students glance the reading materail quickly and match the paragraph and the
topic so that they can have a general idea of the text.
Paragraph 1 A:How the scientists successfully cloned Dolly the sheep.

本节课选用的教材内容是人教版小学英语六年级下册Unit2 What’s the matter,
Mike? PartB Let’s read本课的文本是涉及足球比赛的短文。
☆ 学情分析
我校96年开设小学英语,04年开始使用PEP人教版英语教材。80%以上的学生为巨化子女,生源整齐,程度相当,学生说的能力较强,但综合运用语言的能力较弱。
学生已有的知识储备:
一般学生 较好学生
词汇 少量的足球相关短语:play

心情类的形容词: sad, happy… 球类比赛相关词汇:bounce the ball
pass kick goal…

☆ 教法与学法
教法:新课程标准指出教师是学习的组织者,引导者,合作者,根据这一理念,我以参与式探究教学法为主,以多媒体演示为辅助,创设情境,开展我与学生之间,学生与学生之间,学生与媒体之间,全方位互动式的交流与合作,遵行激导探放的原则,渗透阅读策略,培养学生阅读能力。为学生运用语言搭建平台,为学生展现自我创造空间。
学法:学生做为主体,在学习活动中的参与状态和参与度是决定教学效果的重要因素,学生通过快速阅读,分层阅读,默读,朗读等形式内化习得语言。培养学生合作交流学习法,同时还潜移默化地学到了图表归纳法等学习方法。
