让学生在极大的兴趣推动下去探索名人的生平,从而达到在快乐中学习的目的。
最终使学生学会用上述英语句型进行交流。
本单元的语法项目仍旧为‚一般过去时态‛的用法以及‚时间点‛和‚时间段‛的表达形式。
根据提示书写人物简历是本单元的写作重点。
总之,通过本单元的学习,学生能按照一定的时间顺序,从出生、主要事迹等方面谈论人物。
Section A 1a是让学生列举自己所认知的体育明星,为本单元接下来实施交际功能训练提供了材料。
1b让学生听四段小对话,然后按要求写下四名运动员的出生年份。
既训练了听的能力,又初步引出了本单元的目标语言,为下一步的学习奠定了基础。
1c是对学生口头表达能力的训练。
在此步骤中,初次以文字形式出现了本单元的目标语言When was she born?。
此处以Deng Yaping作为示例,引导学生如何用目标语言进行对话的编造与表达。
2a又是一个听力活动,让学生听一段较长的对话,按要求填写how long栏的内容。
而此处听力所使用的目标语言是How long did ...?。
2b同样是个听力活动,所选用的材料与2a相同,但此处要求学生填写的是started和stopped两个栏目。
同时,与此相对应的语言项目是When did ...?。
而2a和2b的听力活动又为2c的活动打下了基础。
2c给学生提供了口头训练的机会,有了2a和2b的铺垫,2c的对话就水到渠成了。
