Unit4 I have a pen pal第1课时一、教学目标：1、学生能读懂题目要求，学会听前预测要听的重点内容；能运用基本听力技巧完成本部分的听力任务。
2、学生能理解对话大意；能够按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读对话；能够在情景中运用句型：What are …’s hobbies? He/She likes…交流相关内容。
二、教学重难点：1. 重点：听、说、读、写句子：What are Peter’s hobbies? He likes reading stories. 并能在情景中运用。
2. 难点：He likes doing something. You like doing something.即主语不同，like 的变化规则，及能在情景中正确运用该句型。
三、教具准备：教学光盘，PPT。
四、教学过程Step 1. Warm up1、Free talk2、A Let’s tryT: In our daily life, we have many friends. How do we make friends? Sometimes we make friends on line. For example, we can make friends through emails or letters .We don’t have to meet them in person. We call them pen pals. In this unit, we’re going to talk about pen pals. First, let’s watch how Zhang Peng and Oliver make friends.学生完成A Let’s try ,整体理解力A let’s talk 大意。
Step 2. Presentation●教师介绍对话背景，引导学生进行听前预测。
教师出示主情景图P37的图片，提问：Zhang Peng is talking with Oliver about his pen pal, Peter. What are his hobbies?Does he like basketball? 引导学生进行猜测。

重点学习的句型是：What are your hobbies ? I like … .这单元主要学习表达自己及他人的爱好，所以我们可以让学生通过了解问答来进一步了解，进而谈论自己及他人的个人信息，并且能够以书面的形式编写自己的交友广告。
而本课时就是要求学生在之前所学的基础上运用适当的词汇表述自己及他人的爱好。
并且能够朗读公告栏的内容,能够根据交际情况用英语编写自己的交友广告. What are your hobbies ? I like …. What are XX’s hobbies ? She /He likes ….学习者特征分析六年级学生经过了3年的英语学习，对于大部分学生来说，他们聪明活泼、勤奋好学，学生英语基础较好，他们对英语感到好奇，而且都有着十分浓厚的兴趣。
因此，我确立了本课时的学习目标。
教学策略教法：本课主要采用演示法、任务引导法。
另外，在教学时还运用多媒体课件出示、比赛、任务分配、歌谣等方法，激发他们的兴趣。
学法：主要采用自主学习、两人讨论、四人小组学习、动作模讨论交流法、评价竞争的学习方式进行。
教学目标Teaching aims：(一)Knowledge aims1、能听懂、并且在图片的帮助下，运用正确的意群，及语音语调朗读四则广告.2、能听懂、会说,在实际交际中运用句型What are your hobbies? I like….I also like ... .口头描述自己的爱好，同时能够仿照范例编写自己的交友广告。
(二)Process and methods1.通过学习，运用适当的单词、短语及句型准确的描述自己的及他人的爱好，选择合适自己的社团或者俱乐部，适度交友等。

四、教学步骤和建议1．热身(Warm-up)教师放五年级下册Recycle2的歌曲“I Love Going Hiking”，学生边唱边跟教师倘相应的动作。
2．预习(Preview)“滚雪球”游戏教师边出示各种形状的树叶，边说：“I like collecting leaves．”请一名学生在此去基础上再加一句话，如：“I like collecting leaves．I like taking pictures．依次类推，看谁说出的句子最多。
3．新课呈现(Presentation)+Let’s start教师与一名学生示范。
教师问：“What’s your hobby?”学生回答：“Swimming.What about you?”教师回答后示范填写Let’s start部分的表格。
同桌或前后两名学生之间进行问答、填表。
Let’s learn(1)教师边做动作边说自己的业余爱好：“I like playing the violin．What is your hobby?”引导学生回答：“I like…”教师板书：What is your hobby?I like playing the violin．指导学生拼读hobby，playing the violin并进行问答操练。
