2019-2020年七年级英语下册 Unit 5 When was he bornSectionB教学设计鲁教版一、教材分析本单元主要围绕谈论自己崇拜的名人及有关名人的职业生涯而展开的。
通过Section A 的学习,让学生初步了解了成功人士的生活经历,及学习有关职业的英文表达方式, Section B则是在Section A的基础上,通过让学生根据教材所提供的名人的过去生活经历的学习,谈论自己和别人的成就,并学会介绍自己和周围人的生活经历。
二、教学目标、1、知识目标(1)掌握由when,where引导的状语从句at the age of , 70—year history等知识点的运用。

Unit5 When was he born?教材分析:教材主要采用任务形教学模式,融汇话题、交际功能和语言结构。
在提高学生听、说、读、写技能的基础上发展综合语言运用能力。
面向全体学生,并关注学生情感,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和动机。
主要是学习如何介绍自己的出生年,并学会如何询问他人以及阐述自己的过去的经历。
学情分析:所教学生进校时英语水平参差不齐,虽然经过一段时间的学习,但仍存在差距。
要面向全体学生就要把开始的难度降到最低,帮助学生克服畏难心理。
并且要把每个环节练透,作好层层的铺垫工作。

Teaching steps:Warming up1) Send the students a sentence “It’s never too old to learn”.2) Let the students guess the meaning of this proverb.3) Give them the right answer.Step one Presentation1) Say hello to the students and ask them: “How old are you ?”. They willanswer “I a m 14 year s old.” Ask 3 or 4students and explain that “ You are14 years old so you were born in 1993.” Then lead into the new structure “Whenwere you born?” Help the students answer “I was born in 1993.”2) Write the structure on the blackboard.3) Let the students work in pairs to practice the new structure;4) Pick up several pairs to perform in front of the class.(To begin with the familiar structure to the students and teach the new structure naturally. And it will be easy for all the students to accept it and produce.) Step two1. Show the students some pictures of the popular stars made byPowerPoint .Ask them “Do you like him/her?” and “When was he/she born?”2. write the “Whe n was he/she born?” and” He /She was born?” on theblackboard”3. Practice:1) The teacher ask and the students answer one by one.2) Four students a group and practice with each other.3) Pick up several groups to act in front of class.4) Listening comprehension: Do 1b on page 59 and choose the right answers thencheck the answers. Tell your partner your own experiences in the past withthe patterns: I started learning English when I was12 years old.4.
