(第2类条件句) Did you speak to the manager? 你和经理谈话了吗? He didn't come, so I didn't have to speak to him after all. 他没来,所以我终究没有必要和他谈。
( have to⽤于过去时表⽰必要) I've called a taxi. 我叫了⼀辆出租车。
You needn't have done that! I'd already called one. 你其实⽤不着叫!我已叫了⼀辆了。
(need表⽰必要) He had no sooner returned than he bought a house. 他刚⼀回来便买下了⼀幢房⼦。

He told me that he could not go to sleep one night because he heard a strange noise coming from the bar. The next morning, he found that the doors had been blocked by chairs and the furniture had been moved. Though Mr.Thompson had turned the lights off before he went to bed, they were on in the morning. He also said that he had found five empty whisky bottles which the ghost must have drunk the night before. When I suggested that some villagers must have come in for a free drink, Mr.Thompson shook his head. 语法 Grammar in use一般现在时(1)一般现在时可用以陈述现在时段内发生或存在的事件、动作或行为。
这些事件、动作或情景说不定会无限地延续下去。
但实际上,我们的意思则是在说“这是现在存在着的状况”。
一般现在时还可以表示普遍真理以及习惯性的动作。
如:I like black coffee. 我喜欢喝清咖啡。
I don't want any milk in my tea. 我想给我的茶中加什么牛奶。
My father works in a bank. 我父亲在一家银行工作。
I get up at 7. 我7点钟起床。
The earth goes round the sun. 地球围着太阳转。
词汇学习Word study1.like v.(1)喜欢:I like that sweet girl. 我喜欢那个可爱的姑娘。
