（三）科技英语在修饰上的特点
1.时态应用有限
叙述过去的研究常用过去时（与现在 不发生联系），也用现在完成时（与现在 有直接联系，并对目前有重要的影响）； 讨论推导的理论及结果用将来时；论述理 论部分用现在时。
2. 被动语态多(1/3~1/2)
这是因为科技人员最最关心的是行为、活 动、事实本身，至于谁做的，无关紧要，而且 运用被动语态显得文章所描述的内容更客观， 可减少一些主观印象。
