一、课标分析：

现行初中英语教材具有很多的优点，但由于学生认知水平的发展具有规律性，教师只有充分认识和掌握这种规律，并结合教学实际，合理设计教学程序，充分发挥学生的主体作用，教学相长，才能到达教学效果的最优化。

现代的英语教学要求学生听说读写全面发展，而英语知识散碎性又意味着记忆的不断重复性，那么把学生抓在手中让他们跟着学，有兴趣学就变得十分重要。这就要求英语教学设计日臻精致、完美，行之有效和富于独创性，以极大地刺激学生的学习情绪，满足他们的学习欲求，构成师生之间和谐愉悦的课堂氛围。下方是我对我们人教版初中英语八年级上Lesson20 A Computer Helps!课时教学设计，对如何将《英语新课程标准》的理念融入课堂教学作如下探讨。

二、教材分析:

1、话题：本课时选取的是初二英语课本第二单元中的一篇文章 A Computer Helps!，主要是围绕本单元的中心任务“Itennet”而展开的。

2、资料：这篇文章讲述了很多学生平时生活中用到互联网的地方，如何利用互联网在学习和生活中帮助自己，以及如何正确使用互联网，不要沉迷于游戏等。

3、目标：

（1）、理解课文资料，明白如何捕捉细节。

（2）、根据图片猜测大意。

（3）、引导学生掌握模仿主题进行描述的技巧、构成根据主题理解文章细节并能分辨是非的潜力。

三、学生分析：

第一层次的学生，可以独立朗读，快速并长时间识记单词，（了解拼读规则）并能够利用资料解重点词汇的用法，对于语法的了解和掌握比较扎实，能够正确利用所学句子表达所学单元的话题。能够很快完成篇章的背诵。能够阅读文章，正确理解文意。

第二层次的学生，可以独立朗读生词，快速识记单词，（部分学生不了解拼读规则，但记忆力好），通过教师讲解可以掌握重点词汇的用法，能够很容易的学习语法，但是并不系统。能够正确利用所学句子表达所学单元的话题。能够很快完成篇章的背诵。能够阅读文章，正确理解文意。但是，学习不够系统，所以达不到优秀水平。 第三层次的学生，不能独立预习单词，单词是英语学习的最大障碍。因此，完成任务所需时间成倍增长。

本课的教学内容是第四单元的第三课时, 在授课之前先让学生回忆自己问路的情况, 学生会区分不同的地点和位置并且学习寻求帮助, 问路指路。课上通过学生小组合作的形式相互交流, 教师总结归纳指路问路的日常交际用语。
