附件一：“高等学校英语应用能力考试(口试)”简介高等学校英语应用能力考试口语考试一、考试简介1.1 考试对象和报考条件高等学校英语应用能力考试口语考试的报考条件是在校本、专科学生。

1.2 考试形式高等学校英语应用能力考试口语考试将在语言实验室进行，每场考试都有20~30名考生同时参加。

考试不设主考，试题（包括其指示说明）全部录在事先准备好的考试录音带上，考生回答问题也是直接口头回答并通过麦克风录制在考生录音带上。

此外，考生在落座之后还会拿到一本包括Part I 以及Part IV题目的试题本。

整个考试全部过程约为16分钟，实际考试时间为14分钟，考生答题录到录音带上的答案录音累计时间约为9分钟左右。

在正式考试开始之前，考生有2分钟的“热身”练习。

内容包括核实考生身份（由考生通过麦克风把自己的准考证号录入考生录音带），并让考生回答5个诸如天气、家庭、学习、个人兴趣等方面的问题。

该练习采取由主控台播放题目录音、考生根据问题回答的形式，目的是让考生熟悉并适应考场环境及考试方式，消除考生的紧张感，进入良好的应考状态。

这一部分并不进入成绩计分，考生回答的内容对其考试成绩不会造成任何影响。

在回答完5个问题之后，录音会提示考生考试正式开始。

考试由4个部分组成，每个部分之间都有提示音（“嘟”的一声）提醒考生即将进入下一个部分的考试。

第一部分是朗读短文（reading aloud），主要考察考生的语音语调、朗读的准确性、流利度以及一些基本的朗读技巧。

这一部分的信息来源包括信件、传真、备忘录、总结、布告、报告等。

考生有1分钟的准备时间。

在听到回答提示音后，考生开始朗读短文，时间约为1分半钟（约150字，参照标准为大学四级听力标准——每分钟140~160字。

所有听力材料的语速皆参照这个标准）。

第二部分是听对话回答问题（retelling & summarizing），主要考察考生在实际工作、生活场景中对信息的摄取以及语言综合能力。
