教材分析

1，课标上要求，要培养学生对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好。能用简单的英语互致问候、交换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息。能根据所学内容表演小对话或歌谣。能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。乐于了解异国文化、习俗。这是新学期的第一节英语课，内容主要是围绕长城、纽约情况的介绍，让学生会讲述某个地方或者某个事物的情况。此课是新接触的新一册的第一课，需要学生掌握的知识教简单，is are 的用法以前也是有提及的，而且这个知识点在这册中也是贯穿了始终，是奠定基础的课文。

2，学好本文，能让学生学会讲述某个地方或某件事物的情况，掌握的重点句型，能贯穿于整册书的学习，这是最基本的知识点

学情分析

1. 本班有51名学生，总体来说基础较差，学生学习英语的兴趣较低，词汇积累量也不多。

2. 学生认知发展分析：这里是农村学校，学生来源由周围村的教点而来，有些学生是三四年级没有学过英语的，五年级刚来到这个学校就匆匆忙忙学英语，一学就觉得困难，现在很多对英语都不感兴趣，基础差。需要让学生建立起学好英语的信心，这样对以后的教学才有帮助。

3. 学生认知障碍点：积累的词汇量过少
