教材分析
1,课标上要求,要培养学生对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好。能用简单的英语互致问候、交换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息。能根据所学内容表演小对话或歌谣。能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。乐于了解异国文化、习俗。这是新学期的第一节英语课,内容主要是围绕长城、纽约情况的介绍,让学生会讲述某个地方或者某个事物的情况。此课是新接触的新一册的第一课,需要学生掌握的知识教简单,is are 的用法以前也是有提及的,而且这个知识点在这册中也是贯穿了始终,是奠定基础的课文。

学情分析
1. 本班有51名学生,总体来说基础较差,学生学习英语的兴趣较低,词汇积累量也不多。
2. 学生认知发展分析:这里是农村学校,学生来源由周围村的教点而来,有些学生是三四年级没有学过英语的,五年级刚来到这个学校就匆匆忙忙学英语,一学就觉得困难,现在很多对英语都不感兴趣,基础差。需要让学生建立起学好英语的信心,这样对以后的教学才有帮助。
3. 学生认知障碍点:积累的词汇量过少
