I thought I might turn into a chocolate bar myselfafter all that candy!Our last stop was in Washington D.C. to see all the amazing monuments and museums. We saw the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the White House, and many other incredible buildings and statues. My favorite was the National Air and Space Museum - they had real rockets and space suits on display. I dreamed of becoming an astronaut and blasting off into space! We also walked through the U.S. Holocaust Museum, which was very sobering but important to learn about.After two weeks on the road, we were pretty tired but had the best time ever. I made so many wonderful memories with my family this summer. We took a million photos and I even kept a journal of all our adventures.
