国际超大型数据库会议

CCF公布推荐的国际学术会议和期刊目录经过3年多的工作，CCF推荐的国际学术会议和期刊目录现予公布。

本目录包括数据库、软件工程、计算机网络、计算机图形学（几何造型、多媒体、可视化、虚拟现实）、计算机体系结构、计算机科学理论、人工智能与模式识别、网络与信息安全等八个方向的国际学术会议及期刊目录和一个综合类的国际学术期刊目录，供国内高校和科研单位作为学术评价的参考依据。

目录中，刊物和会议分为A、B、C三档。

A类表示国际上极少数的顶级刊物和会议，鼓励我国学者去突破；B类是指国际上著名和非常重要的会议、刊物，代表该领域的较高水平，鼓励国内同行投稿；C类指国际上重要、为国际学术界所认可的会议和刊物。

早在2005年12月17日，CCF YOCSEF就举办了“从SCI反思中国的学术评价体制”的专题论坛，探讨为何SCI会成为衡量大学、科研机构和科学工作者学术水平的最重要的甚至是唯一的尺度，提出了如何建立中国公正合理的学术评价体制的问题。

这次论坛，在国内引起了强烈的反响。

李国杰理事长在各种场合多次呼吁要重视在顶级国际学术会议上发表论文，希望CCF拿出顶级学术会议和重要学术期刊的目录，提供给各高校和科研单位做学术水平评价的参考。

此后，CCF委托YOCSEF学术委员会组织此项工作，经过调研、分析、选择试点方向、收集整理资料、研讨、向学术界公开征集意见、报常务理事会审议、学术工作委员会再修订等过程，最终推出目前的推荐目录表。

这些分类目录每年将根据具体情况进行修订。

SCI《科学引文索引》(Science Citation Index, SCI)是由美国科学信息研究所(ISI)1961年创办出版的引文数据库，其覆盖生命科学、临床医学、物理化学、农业、生物、兽医学、工程技术等方面的综合性检索刊物，尤其能反映自然科学研究的学术水平，是目前国际上三大检索系统中最著名的一种，其中以生命科学及医学、化学、物理所占比例最大，收录范围是当年国际上的重要期刊，尤其是它的引文索引表现出独特的科学参考价值，在学术界占有重要地位。

根据SCI收录及被引证情况，可以从一个侧面反映学术水平的发展情况。

一流的：数据库三大顶级会议SIGMOD，VLDB，ICDE，数据挖掘KDD，实际相关的还有机器学习ICML,还有信息检索的SIGIR；数据库的理论会议PODS，但它是理论的会议所以和咱们就不大相关了二流的：EDBT，ICDT，CIKM，SDM，ICDM，PKDD，还有ECML欧洲的机器学习会议（这个应该是1.5档的，比一般的二流好），这些会也不好中，中了也会会觉得不一定爽，你可能觉得再以努力就上一流了，哈哈。

有的人文章很多，但主要都是ｆｏｌｌｏｗ别人的工作。

Ｄａｔａｂａｓｅ领域有不少ｐａｐｅｒｍａｃｈｉｎｅ。

有的地方，整个ｇｒｏｕｐ就是一个大的ｐａｐｅｒｍａｃｈｉｎｅ。

个人感觉数据库研究者倾向于把数据挖掘看作一个数据库的子领域，因而对数据挖掘的会议rating较低。

然而对其他背景的人而言，数据挖掘是相对独立的一个新兴领域，因而对其会议rating比较高。

SIGMOD：97分，数据库的最高会议，涉及范围广泛，稍偏应用（因为理论文章有PODS）。

没说的，景仰如滔滔江水。

这个会议不仅是double-blind review，而且有rebuttal procedure，可谓独树一帜，与众不同。

VLDB：95分，非常好的数据库会议。

与SIGMOD类似，涉及范围广泛，稍偏应用。

从文章的质量来说，SIGMOD和VLDB难分伯仲，没有说谁比谁更高。

他们的范围也几乎一样。

不少牛人都认为，今年的rebuttal procedure其实并不怎么成功。

投稿太多，很难做到每一篇都公平公正。

很多rebuttal没人看。

double-blind是把双刃剑。

这几年来每年都有人冒充牛人的风格来投稿，有的还真进去了。

反而VLDB的审稿质量一直很高。

中国数据库学术会议申办和举办指南（Ver. 1.0 ）第一章 总则第1条 中国数据库学术会议（National Database Conference of China，简称为NDBC）是中国计算机学会(China Computer Federation, CCF)下属的数据库专业委员会(Database Technical Committee， DBTC)主办的常规年度学术活动，始于1977年。

其宗旨是为中国大陆、香港、台湾、澳门和海外华人数据库研究者、开发者和用户提供一个中华数据库学术交流平台，交流有关数据库研究与应用的成果和经验，讨论数据库研究与应用所面临的挑战性问题。

第二章 会议申办（拟承办会议的前两年）第2条 申请单位(集合或群体，以下简称申请单位)应该具备下列条件：(1) 申请单位集合中至少有一个高等院校或一个计算机科学技术相关的研究所或省市级计算机学会；(2) 申请单位中有数据库研究人员，并且参加过NDBC，熟悉NDBC 会议规范及流程；(3) 申请单位有举办过学术会议的经验，并有一定的财务支付能力，能够承担在申请、准备和开会过程中发生的必要的财务支出；(4) 申请单位的领导支持举办学术会议，申请单位所在地具备承担一定规模（200-400人，或更多）的赴会人员的食宿和交通集散的基础设施；(5) 申办单位预先协商好承办、协办关系，明析责权，团结协作。

第3条 提交申请时间：申请单位需在拟办会议的前两年提出，例如申请承办NDBC2011的单位需在NDBC2009会议前提出申请。

申办单位须在答辩的两个月之前，通过电子邮件向专委会秘书长提交申办报告。

第4条 申办答辩：提交申请的答辩单位须在当年的NDBC会议期间的专委工作会议上做申办答辩陈述。

答辩陈述包括下列内容（可参见附件中的样板）：(1) 承办单位、协办单位清单，及相应的责任分工；(2) 承办单位简介，科研教学、学科建设、数据库研究情况简介，办会的主要负责人简介；(3) 承办单位所在地简介。

什么是SCI、SSCI、EI、ISTP、CPCI、CSCD和核⼼期刊？⼀⽂搞懂这些都是检索系统，⼀个收录很多论⽂的数据库。

SCI、EI和中⽂核⼼期刊没有任何关系，三个都是不同的收录系统。

SSCI是社会科学期刊数据库。

EI偏⼯程应⽤。

CSCD和核⼼期刊都是中国的数据库。

ISTP是会议论⽂数据库，以上都是期刊论⽂。

在基础学科领域，SCI期刊在国内的认可度最⾼，⽽在⼯程技术领域EI认可度相对较⾼。

相对中⽂核⼼期刊看，SCI、EI国际认可度更⾼⼀些。

SCI、EI、ISTP是世界三⼤重要检索系统，其收录⽂章的状况是评价国家、单位和科研⼈员的成绩、⽔平以及进⾏奖励的重要依据之⼀。

我国被三⼤系统收录的论⽂数量逐年增长。

SCISCI即《科学引⽂索引》(Science Citation Index），是由美国科学信息研究所（Institute forScientific Information 简称ISI）创建于1957年。

收录⽂献的作者、题⽬、源期刊、摘要、关键词，不仅可以从⽂献引证的⾓度评估⽂章的学术价值，还可以迅速⽅便地组建研究课题的参考⽂献⽹络。

经过⼏⼗年的发展完善，已从开始时单⼀的印刷型发展成为功能强⼤的电⼦化、集成化、⽹络化的⼤型多学科、综合性检索系统。

SCI从来源期刊数量划分为SCI和SCI-E。

SCI指来源刊为3500多种的SCI印刷版和SCI光盘版（SCI Compact Disc Edition，简称SCI CDE），SCI-E（SCI Expanded）是SCI的扩展库，收录了5600多种来源期刊，可通过国际联机或因特⽹进⾏检索。

SCI是⼀部国际性的检索刊物，包括有：⾃然科学、⽣物、医学、农业、技术和⾏为科学等，主要侧重基础科学。

所选⽤的刊物来源于94个类、40多个国家、5O多种⽂字，这些国家主要有美国、英国、荷兰、德国、俄罗斯、法国、⽇本、加拿⼤等，也收录⼀定数量的中国刊物。
