初中英语语法（数词）
1. 数词可以分为：基数词和序数词。
2. 序数词的用法要牢记：
1. 明确指出先后顺序，在序数词前加定冠词the
This is the second time I saw him.
2. 表示“又一，再一”，而不强调顺序，不用定冠词the ，用不定冠词a/an
Mark thought the soup is very delicious. He want a second bowl.
(注意：the second one 表示第二个，a second one 表示又一个，再一个
3. 当序数词前有物主代词或者其他修饰语时，不用the,a,an
His second child is a boy.
3. 时代
九十年代：in the 90’s/in the 90s
4. 年龄的表达：
1. 表示“几岁”用：数字+years old
He is eleven years old .
2. 表示“几岁的人”可用表示年龄的复合形容词，（注意复合形容词只能做定语）
She is a ten-year-old girl.
3. 表示 “在……年龄”用“at the age of…”
At the age of five, he began to learn Chinese gongfu.
4. 表示“……多岁了”用“in+one’s +整数基数复数形式”
in her thirties （在她三十几岁的时候）
in her twenties （在她二十几岁的时候）
5. 分数的表达： 分子（基数词）-分母（序数词），当分子为one时，分母用序数词，当分子大于one的时候，分母为序数词的复数形式
one-tenth （十分之一） two-tenths （十分之二）
6. “半”的表达要牢记
一半： half a +名词 : half an hour 半小时
A half + 名词 : a half hour 半小时
一个半：a/one +名词 + and a half : an/one hour and a half 一个半小时
One and a half + 名词 : one and a half hours 一个半小时
7. 确数词和概数词的表达：
如果表示确切的数词，用：two hundred (两百) five thousand （五千）
如果表示大概的数词，用：hundreds of students (成百上千学生 ) thousands
of people （成千上万人）
8. 注意有些既可以用基数词表示，又可以用序数词表示：
Lesson One = the first lesson （第一课）
Gate Four= the fourth gate （第四个大门）
