Teaching objectives:

Teaching process:
Step 1. Warming up: let students sing the song”happy birthday to you” to the student who enjoy his/her birthday
Step 2. Review what we learned last class
Task A:Let students do some exercises
One-- first seven---seventh
Two—second eight---eighth
Three—third nine-----ninth
Four—fourth ten-----tenth
Five---fifth twenty---twentieth
Six---sixth twenty-one---twenty-first
Step 3. Learn the twelve words and the sentence”when is your birthday?—my birthday is ”(20mins)
Task A: Learn the twelve words
Firstly the teacher show stuedents some pictures about the festivals in a year,then ask the students what the date is,after the students answer,the teacher will give the english expression,and let the students read them follow the teacher.
Task B: Learn the sentence”when is your birthday?—my birthday is ”
In the stage,the teacher will ask the students who enjoy her birthday”when is
your birthday?”,the aim is let the students get in touch with the sentence,then let the students read the sentence ,next,the teacher will show some birthdays of famous people,let students do some dilogues about this.
Step 4. Activities (7 mins)
Devide the whole class into 5 groups,each group need line up from youngest to oldest,the group that finishes in the end,they must perform some programs to the class Step 5. Review what we learn today (10 mins)
Task1: Do some exercises
The teacher show some exercises in the powerpoint,let students do them.
1.National Day(国庆节) is October__first__ (1).

Task2:Do some reseaches
The teacher will sak students the question”do you know your parents’ birthday”
,and then give the students some suggestions about they should care for and understand their parents.
Step 6. Homework (5mins)
A.make an english calendar by yourself.
