Step 1: Warm up1.Sing English song“What can you do?”分男生,女生两组,比一比,哪一组唱得更加整齐,好听。
2.拿出单词卡片开火车读单词。
Step 2: Presentation1.教师问What day is it today?学生回答Today is Monday. The next day is Tuesday.2.那下周二将会有什么事发生呢?教师将其中的某几个词挖掉,让学生听听力填空(听2遍),将内容补充完整。
3.听第3遍,根据课文内容回答问题,并跟读对话。

人教PEP 版五年级英语上册教学设计Unit4 What can you do?一、单元整体分析本单元是义务教育人教版(pep)小学英语教科书五年级上册的第四单元。
主要围绕话题What can you do? 引出A、B、C 三个板块的内容。
A、B 部分呈现两组情景对话、一些重点词汇和一篇阅读小短文等新知识点,C 部分是以讲趣味故事形式巩固或延展知识面。
本单元重点学习描述文娱活动的动词短语及问答句型,学习play 与文体活动名称的搭配规律,即音乐器材前面加the,运动器材前面不加the。
呈现含有情态动词can 的重点核心句型:有特殊疑问句What can you do? I can draw cartoons. 一般疑问句Can you swim? Yes, I can. I can do some kung fu, too. 这些都是有关学生们日常的文娱活动,与学生们的日常生活密切相关,由于学生们对此会很感兴趣,因此在学习过程中容易接受并且愿意积极配合各种训练,能够轻松愉快地学习、接受、灵活运用。
本单元共分六个课时,A、B 两部分中的情景对话都是展示重点知识内容的语言环境,Let’s learn 中的重点词汇是为重点句型提供的多变元素,让学生掌握更多的文娱活动的动词短语,扩充学生们对新句型的适用范围,提高学生的应变能力,树立学生学习英语的自信心,为今后的学习奠定坚实的英语基础。
第五课时的Read and write.是阅读训练,融合了本单元的重点词汇和重点句型,为提高学生们的阅读能力创设了一个阅读训练平台;Let’s check 是听力训练,是检验学生们对本单元的重点词汇和重点句型是否能听懂的听力训练板块,引导学生多参与一些趣味听力训练,有助于学生们在日常交流中能正确捕捉对方表达的信息,提高学生们的交流能力。
第六课时包括A 部分的Let’s spell. B 部分的Let’s wrap it up.以及C 部分的Story time 等三部分,Let’s spell 积累了字母组合oo 在单词中的拼读规则,分别呈现了发短音/u /的四个单词和发长音/u: /的四个单词,引导学生辨清长短音的拼读规律。
