本单元是围绕“人与自我”这一主题。
在七年级下册Unit4 Don’t eat in class 基础上进一步学习规则这一话题的相关内容,通过谈论青少年应该被允许做的事情以及个人的观点和态度,加深对不同情境下规则的认识和体会,帮助学生树立规则意识。
本单元承接本册书第五单元一般现在时被动语态和第六单元一般过去时被动语态的语法项目,本单元语法重点为含有情态动词的被动语态。
话题贴近学生生活,学生比较感兴趣,课堂参与度和积极性较高。
本课时为诗歌阅读课。
人教版英语教材中仅有两篇诗歌,本课为其中第一篇。
本诗歌以作者不同时期对母亲的理解和态度的转变为线索,体现母爱的主题。
本诗歌采用第一人称,涉及含有情态动词的被动语态,一般现在时和一般过去式,动词的ing形式作状语等,帮助学生在诗歌文本中更好地理解相应语法项目。
本诗体现诗歌的三个特点:运用相同句式,有韵脚,分节。
对诗歌基本知识的掌握有助于本册书第二篇诗歌的学习。
学情分析初三年级的学生处于青春期和叛逆期,面对繁忙的学习生活和中考升学压力,内心充满焦虑,与家长的沟通也或多或少存在一定问题,不能理解父母,不愿意与父母和他人交流。
学生们在日常生活中习惯了妈妈的照顾和付出,可能忽略了妈妈的辛苦,也忘记感恩和感谢。
初三年级学生有一定的英语知识基础、阅读理解能力和语言表达能力,掌握了一定词汇量,有能力完成老师在听说读写各个方面的任务并且能够表达自己的想法。
教学目标语言能力:了解诗歌主要特征,理解诗歌内涵,有感情地朗读诗歌,能够创作简单诗歌,并能在语境中掌握情态动词的被动语态。
学习能力:提高阅读策略运用能力;小组合作学习中讨论、分享观点;能够用英语交流和表达自己的想法。
文化品格:感受英文诗歌的语言美和意蕴美;理解母爱,感恩母亲,用语言和行动主动地表达对身边人的爱。
思维品质:头脑风暴和回答问题中发散思维;增强提取有效信息的能力和概括能力;整合已知信息并形成自己的创造性思维。
Step 1 Check the preview of the new words1. Greetings2.Match the new words with their meanings.Invite two students to play the g ame and then check the answers.3. Read the words to have a better understanding of the new words.设计意图:利用希沃课件的课堂活动知识匹配来检测学生对本节课新单词的预习情况,再带领学生进一步巩固新单词,为后面的阅读做好铺垫。
一、教学目标:1.能力目标1) 95%的学生能通过听录音、反复诵读以及教师对于诗歌特点的演示后,有感情地朗读本首诗歌,并能理解诗篇大意。
2) 70%的学生能够从读到说,用真情实感流畅讲述自己和母亲之间的故事并能表述对母亲的感激之情。

5. 文化意识通过阅读和教师讲解、示例,80%的学生能够初步了解英文诗歌特点及诗歌文化。
二、学情分析:本节课内容比较贴近学生的生活,妈妈的爱是学生们非常熟悉的情感,很容易引起学生的共鸣。
因此学生们对本节课的学习会有较高的兴趣,加之学习内容难度的不大,学生有较强的表达欲望和诉求,参与活动的积极性和学习得高效性也相应地提高了。
作为老师,应较好地保持这一态势并适时引导,辅以灵活多样的教学设计和丰富的活动设计,鼓励学生加强语言实践,渗透学法指导并引导学生理解父母对子女的关爱和教育。
三、重点难点:1.重点:重点单词及短语:tiny,field,badly,awful,regret,talk back,make one’s own decision...2.难点:通过阅读诗歌让学生了解诗歌的韵律,理解母亲的重要性。

本堂课教学的是人教新目标九年级Unit 7 Section A ,3a 至3c的内容。
3A 的内容为一首英文诗。
在学生提前预习的基础上,通过多种方式进行诵读来感悟诗歌情感、理解重点词汇。
五、教学目标设计:
