不同地区出产的功放机有着不同的声音特色，在国外的优秀产品中，这种差异表现尤为突出。
由于目前国内音响市场上所见的外产功放机基本上有欧、美地区国家和日本生产。
因. 此，了解、掌握这些地区出产的功放机的（声音）特点，无疑对功放机（含AV功放）的选用会有非常之大的帮助。
1、欧美功放机的特点在功率放大器的发展史上，麦景图（McIntosh ）、马兰士（Marantz ）曾经是美国早期产品的杰出代表。
由于受UC NEM A NECE大工业标准的规范，美国出产的功放机在品质上都有一定的保障。
君不见50 年代麦景图出品的一些产品至今还能正常工作，马兰士的Mode7A Mode8（B）A Mode9（Hi－Fi 功放）至今仍然为发烧有趋之若骛。
在70年代，由于日本产品在世界音响市场上的崛起和美国国内加工费用的不断升高，不但使崇尚手工制作和小规模生产的一些美国公司纷纷倒闭或被兼并，就连麦景图、Fisher和马兰士这些著名的厂家也难以幸免，马兰士现在被日本飞利浦收购，Fisher 被日本三洋电机收购，麦景图则不得不接受爱华（Aiwa）的资金。

一般来说，美国出品的高档功放机品质一流，在声音的表现上则注重音场的宽度和深度，同时他们的能量充足，可以轻松的应付世界各地出产的各类型音箱，总体来说，售价高、体积大、品质好、声音的音乐性佳是美国出品的功放机的显著特点。
欧洲的功放机以英国、荷兰、德国、法国等国的出品为代表。
英国出品的功放机因受其人文因素的影响，大都表现出一种擅于诠释古典音乐的倾向，这种倾向使它在生冷的数码声响起之初得以大行其道，而其中一些有着传统LP唱盘般温暖、柔顺音色的功放机更是深得乐迷、传媒的赞扬。

The carpet spikes can be manually screwed into each rubber foot on the base of the speaker.CAUTION: Floorstanding (tower) loudspeakers have a high center of gravity and may become unstableand tip over during earthquakes or if they are rocked, tipped or improperly positioned. Consider anchoring these speakers to the wall behind them, using the procedures and hardware customary for anchoring bookcases and wall units. If a wall stud is unavailable, install an anchor appropriate for a 1-1/2”, #10 screw.NOTE: You are responsible for the correct selection and use of mounting hardware (available through hardware stores) that will ensure the proper and safe wall-mounting of the speakers.KeyholesRubber cushions1) Using the included wall template, mark the positions on the wall where you would like to place the mounting screws.2) Fasten two 1-1/2” (38mm), #10 wood screws to the wall using the markings from Step 1 as your guide.
