The journey of life is like a train heading towards spring. It is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, just like the changing seasons. When I look back at my own life, I can see how I have experienced the different seasons, and how I have grown and changed along the way.Life is full of unexpected surprises and challenges, just like the sudden changes in weather. One moment it may be sunny and bright, and the next moment a storm may hit. But no matter what obstacles come my way, I have learned to keep moving forward, just like the train that never stops moving towards its destination. As I look out the window of the train, I see the beauty of nature passing by. The vibrant colors of the flowers in bloom, the greenery of the trees, and the clear blue skies all remind me of the beauty of life. Even in the midst ofchallenges, there is always something beautiful to be found if we take the time to look for it.There are also times when the train passes through dark tunnels, where it feels like there is no light at the end. In those moments, it can be easy to lose hope and feel like giving up. But just as the train eventually emerges from the darkness into the light, I have learned that even the toughest times in life will eventually pass, and there will always be a brighter tomorrow.Life is a journey that is meant to be shared with others. Just as the train is filled with passengers fromall walks of life, I have met many different people along my own journey. Some have been like the warm sunshine, bringing joy and laughter into my life, while others have been like the rain, teaching me important lessons through their challenges and struggles. As the train continues to move forward, I am constantly reminded of the importance of embracing change and growth. Just as the seasons change, I too must be willing to adaptand evolve in order to continue moving forward in life. Itis through these changes and challenges that I have been able to discover my own strengths and resilience.Life is a journey that is constantly moving forward, just like the train heading towards spring. Along the way,I have learned to appreciate the beauty of nature, to navigate through the dark tunnels, and to embrace the changes and growth that come my way. And as the train oflife continues on its path, I am excited to see what new adventures and experiences await me in the seasons to come.

Cultural Differences in Interpreting and Coping TacticsAbstract: In cross-cultural business communication , east and west will often because national culture , cognitive styles and different ways of thinking and incurring the cultural conflict . Interpreter should be careful to develop their cross-cultural awareness , reduce or eliminate business negotiation of the pragmatic failures , make the success of cross-cultural communication .Key words: Interpretation Cross-cultural differences Cross-cultural awarenesswhen it comes to interpreters , we can not help thinking it an honored occupation , also , feeling that it is much far away from us . However , today we are learning the interpretation curriculum , which thanks to the good consequence of the transformation of the english lesson . I have not ever thought of that I could speak and listen english freely and fluently one day , but the interpretation curriculum may make it possible . Through the curriculum , I have learned how to make efficiency notes , which is much more different from and difficult than others, that's why we must form the style of notes charactered by ourselves . Being cool just as interpreter is not as easy as it looks like . Interpretation is a language communication behavior , which transforms one language to another , and a basic mode of communication that human beings of different culture and different ethnic are relying on . The job of interpretation is challenging , compared towritten translation , the most outstanding characteristic of interpretation is what you must say after a very short time . Interpreters have no time to think about it repeated deliberately or look up dictionary or reference book while interpreting . Sometimes interpreters may forecast to connected content according to the site condition ,but they ,in most of the time , cannot know the details ,especially in business negotiations . That demands interpreters not only know the language and the knowledge of business and industry , but also need to have a good command of the two kinds of culture and know about what are the differences between cultures on expression . For the time being , cross-cultural communication has become much more common in the globalization . Only knowing more cultural discrepancy , different habits , distinct way of thinking and different concept of diversity nationals , can they improve themselves of business interpretation step by step .The most difficulty the interpreter may encounter is the culture differences . We take it for granted that we are right if we do just as traditional of our country . For example , we eat with chopsticks while western foreign with spoon . That's the little difference but to the key point . We are familiar with Chinese and english interpretation ,because of the two languages belonging to oriental and westerner culture , the huge difference is apparent . Here , what I want to talk about is cross-cultural conflict caused by the diverse of cultural antecedents , cognitive system and thinking mode ,which are the main content in interpretation .Since Chinese has a long history ,accumulating plenty of old words , including idioms , proverbs , mottoes , slangs , saying , two-part allegorical sayings and so forth ,which contain abundant cultural connotation with thick national colors . For instance ,during a business activity , the Chinese side said ,'建立一条龙服务中心,为外国投资者提供审批业务', and the interpreter interpreted ,'set up the one-dragon service center to provide a coordinated process service for foreign investors in obtaining approval '. I don't think foreigners will understand . Moreover ,dragon represents auspicious in China while it means evil in western ,if interpreter does not know about it ,misunderstanding will occur .It is different of people's approaches and angles to sense and know the world around . Ina national or huge social groups ,the differences usually cannot be a barrier , however , when in different national , it can be . Even confronting with the same thing , people may form different words to express and you can not figure it out if you are not one of them . As an example in business negotiation interpretation , Chinese said ,'我们不会给你们打白条子,我们会按时付款的'. If the interpreter interpreters ,'we shall not issue blank paper to you , we will pay you on time '. Meanwhile ,foreigners cannot understand it . In fact , here blank means empty , or more straightforward , similar to IOU . The interpreter might as well interpreter ,' we shall not issue IOUS to you '. Foreigners can catch your main ideas .The last difference I will mention is the way of thinking , which summarize the objective reality and indirectly reflect using knowledge and experience as media . The way of thinking variety from one to another , determining the diversity of language expression . Therefore , we must adjust the language to others can understand and recept and it appears more fluently and natural . Or listeners may feel harder to understand . For example , there are a lot of special sentences differing from Chinese , which may cause a understanding gap . When 'it' as subject , it can represent time , place , distance , the name of lifeless words and a large passive situation ,all of these caused by national object strictly separate thinking characteristics . Many 'it' as form subject substitute for different forms of real subject and complicated , multi-level master-slave complex sentences are fear connected with the preference analysis thinking while Chinese prefer comprehensive thinking . British and American people used to talk about subjective views first and than object and last others connected , perhaps it is related to linear thinking while Chinese curve type thinking . Also , part or complete inversion can not be separated with reverse thinking .So it demands highly for interpreters to adapt themselves for better prompted know and communicate each other . Cultivate themselves cross-cultural quality is in a desperate time and armed with cross-cultural awareness . Interpreter should use intercultural knowledge to help business activities .Where there is a will , there is a way . Though interpretation is a tough occupation , we can do it better if we try our best . To me , I like english very much . I believe I willcontinue to learn english and interpretation to enrich my life .
Analysis of Daniel Defoe and his masterwork Robinson Crusoe1. Introduction of the author and the backgroundDaniel Defoe was born in the late 17th century. After the tremendous events of the 17th century, England entered a period of comparatively peaceful development. In the 18th century, the European broke out industrial revolution. The main contradiction is between the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. The capitalism was generally established. And the social revolution also affected the literature style and the philosophy domain. England came into the age of enlightenment. People began to fight the survivals of feudalism; at the same time they were prone to accept bourgeois relationships as rightful and reasonable relationships among people.Daniel Defoe was an important novelist in the English literature history. He was born in a small merchant family in London. He ran business in his early years. He was ever been in Spain, German, French, and Italy during this period. He had ever joined in the military of William Three who win the throne after the English bourgeoisie drove Stuart kings away in 1688. In 1692, Defoe’s business went bankrupt. He had to change his profession. After he took part in his writing career, he was good at writing political essays and ironic poetry to fight against feudalism. He ever wrote essays to satirize the church. And he was punished by the government to the jail for 6 months. Defoe’s life was full of abundant experiences. He was from a lower bourgeoisie family. He devoted himself to his business, writing, and political movements all his life. However, he was not only a businessman, a writer, and a politician as we have known; he was also a jack-of-all-trade profited from his abundant life experience. His life was also full of frustration because of the bankrupted business and a frustrated political life. Defoe began to write novels when he was nearly 60 years old. Robinson Crusoe was an instant success, and Daniel Defoe became famous soon all over the Europe because of it.2. Brief introduction of the Robinson CrusoeIn the Robinson Crusoe, the author told about the adventurous and fantastic experience of Robinson. Robinson was the youngest son in his family. His parents wanted him to live a peaceful and quiet life because both of their elder sons had left them. However, Robinson was a man who loves adventure. His first voyage suffered a storm which made his ship submerged by the sea when he was only 19. But he did n’t give up his dream of exploring. In his following expeditions, he has ever been to Africa, Morocco, and Brazil. During this period, he had accumulated some property. After these perils and adventures, he then determined to explore to Africa again to barter cheap trinkets for gold and procure slaves with his fellows. Unfortunately their ship came across a serious storm on the way to Africa and wrecked off the coast of an uninhabited island. All the sailors were dead except Robinson. He was taken to a desolate island by the storm. From then on, Robinson began his unbelievable life on the island. Robinson had lived on the island for 28 years. During the 28 years, he experienced all kinds of difficulties: the poor living conditions; natural disasters such as earthquake, tsunami, and storm; disease; and unbearable loneliness. There he had to build house, hunt wild animals, plant crops for surviving. And he had to be accustomed to the climate on the island. At the same time, he must learn to how to protect him when the nature disaster and disease came across. Above all, the most difficult to him is to bear the long time loneliness. At first, he kept a diary everyday, until he saved a native who named Friday by Robinson. Finally, Robinson and his servant Friday left the island back to London under the help of a captain who he had ever saved. Robinson lived a normal life in London until many years later. He missed his island so much that he went back to the island he had ever lived for 28 years again.3. Analysis of the novel’s theme and writing techniquesNo matter what kinds of evaluations the critics give, Robinson Crusoe is always a masterpiece which is popular with any class people around the world. There are tworeasons why it is so famous. One is the article’s theme, the other is Defoe broke out the traditional writing style; Robinson Crusoe is one of the important works of the early realistic novels in the English literature history.First, the reason why this work is so famous is because of the novel’s theme: it compliments the spirit of the bourgeoisie. The hero of the novel is not only an ordinary worker, but also a capitalist and a colonist. On one thing, Robinson was born in a middle class family, he represented the ordinary people. His hard working, bravery, and determined mind praised the lower class workers in some degree. That’s why the novel can be so popular even with the sailors, soldiers, merchants, and craftsmen. On the other thing, Robinson was a capitalist. His spirit of adventure and hardworking represented the bourgeoisie. For examples, when he stayed on the island alone, he said to himself that the entire island was owned to him, and when the Friday’s father and some other Spanish came up, he felt he was the monarch of these men and he felt satisfied with his citizens’obedience. Even after he went back to London, he returned to the island to inspect his citizens and rented the lands to the migrants. Robinson showed the capitalists’spirits of adventuring and exploring, pursuing wealth and depriving.Second, the writing skill is also the reason why this work is so famous. Defoe broke out the traditional writing style, he used realistic writing technique. Robinson Crusoe showed realism in three aspects. 1) First of all, this novel was based on the real experiences of Alexander Selkirk, who had been marooned in the island of Juan Fernandez off the coast of Chile and who had had lived here in solitude for five years. Defoe was amazed by his story and he was also very interested in it. So he changed the Alexander’s experiences into an art work. Meanwhile Defoe wrote it in the first person which made the novel more authentic. And it also made the readers not only appreciate the art work, but also sense the hero’s behaviors and ideas in his situation at the same time. 2) Second, there are specific dates and background in the novel which made the novel more realistic. For example, the author began the article with “I was born in the year 1632, in the city of York, of a good family, though not of that country, my father being a foreigner of Bremen who settled first at Hull. He got agood estate by merchandise and, leaving off his trade, lived afterward at York, from whence he had married my mother, whose relations were Robinson, a very good family in that country, and from whom I was called Robinson Kreutznaer; but by the usual corruption of words in England and we are now called, nay, we called ourselves, and write our name Crusoe, so many companions always called me ”, we can conclude from this paragraph that the author not only told the readers the specific dates, places, but also his family’s history. That made the article not so much as a novel as a biography. 3) Finally, the author was adept in writing the specific details which can also make the novel seem more realistic. For example, when Robinson was trapped into the island, the author wrote specifically the things what Robinson took from the ship which wrecked by the island, such as the food, the wine, the timber, the clothes, the guns. And even the axes and the nails such trifles were also written by Defoe clearly.4. ConclusionDaniel Defoe is one of the most important realistic writers in the English literature. Because of the effects of the enlightenment and the abundance life experiences, Defoe broke out the ancient traditional ideas of literature. In his works, he paid more attention on the daily life of the ordinary people. And that’s one of the reasons why Robinson Crusoe is so important in the literature history. And Robinson is not only the representation of the hardworking capitalism but also the representation of the Roman’s sea culture___ exploring and adventure. The novel is also meaningful in the cultural domain. So there is no doubt that Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe is so popular around the world.《生命列车》The Train Of Life1.

The life of a man is just like a hitchhiking, during which many times we go up and down. Now and then things will happen accidently, some of whicn are to be unexpected excitement, while some heart-breaking sorrows.
When first embraced the world,we are already on the train of life. We take it for granted that the first two persons, our parents, whom we are encountered with, would accompany us all the way.
Sadly, things do not go on as we thought.
Our parents will get off the train at a certain station, leaving us, bereft and helpless.Their love and emotion to us and their irreplaceable company can be found in nowhere.
However, there will be somebody else who will get on the train. Some of them will have special meaning to us.
Some of them may be our siblings , relatives and friends, and we will also expereince the imperishable love.
Some of our travelling companions are quite light-hearted on the
way.
While some may bear
immense sorrow.
Still some ,back and forth, are ready hold out their hands for others
who need help.
Some people alight off the train, yet they are still kept in the mind of the other
passengers for long; some, to the opposite, leave their seats without being
notice.
…Sometimes, the one,who is dear to your heart, has huddled into another carriage. Nothing but one you can do is just to keep on
going,far away from him.
Of course, during the journey, you may stagger to another carriage
to look for him.
... It’s a pity that you will
never seat yourself beside him because the seat has been engaged
by others.
Never mind. The journey is full of challenges, dreams, hopes and departures---but only one thing is that you can’t turn back. So, have
a good journey with heart and soul.
Show your good-
will to all the passengers you are encountered with, and find the merits of theirs.
Remeber that someone may oscillate just as we
do in the journey.
We should understand others just as we need others’
understanding
The enigma of life is:Where shall we get off the
train of life?
And how about the
companions beside us?
And our friends?
We don’t know.
…Sometimes I think:
When my time comes to get off, shall I miss it?
I think I will.
It is a suffering when I
part with my friends.
I will be sorry for leaving my kids going alone.
I firmly hold that when we get to the terminal,we will have another reunion.
Whens my kids gets on the train of life, they have only little luggage in their travelling bag.
However,if I can leave the
beautiful memory in their
mind,I will feel happy.
After getting off the train of life, I will be content if my fellow passengers will remember me and miss
me.
To you , the companions on my train of life.
May you have a good journey!
