just在句中的意思是“仅仅，只是”，其同义词是only。
如：He's just a boy. = He is only a boy. 他只是个孩子。
2.How do you like the pants? 你认为这条裤子怎么样？How do you like....? 表示对某物的看法。
同义句为What do you think of...? 如：How do you like this pair of shoes? = What do you think of this pair of shoes? 你认为这双鞋怎么样？3.They're too long. 它们太长了。
too是副词，用于形容词或副词前，意为“太，过于”，但作“很，非常”解释时，常用于口语中，相当于very。
如：The skirt is too small. 那条裙子太长了。
He's only too willing to be of service（服务）.他非常愿意帮助你。
4.Why not try on that pair? 为什么不试试那一条？句中that pair 指另一条裤子。

通过对话呈现Ben帮助爸爸购物的场景，学习表达需求的表达“we need...”，询问数量的表达“How much...?”和“How many...?”，并学习可数名词和不可数名词量的表达法，同时，还通过看图完成对话，培养学生借助图片理解对话以及进行信息转换的能力，进一步巩固所学的关于购物的表达，并学习询问重量的表达“How heavy...?”。
此外，本课通过听音复习学过的辅音，训练学生辨别不同辅音的能力，并通过连线配对，培养学生联想实物进行单词记忆的能力。
