初中英语八年级下册第二单元(Travelling) Grammar 教学设计一、课题:Grammar (Unit 2 Travelling) 等一课时二、授课教师:吕艳(南闸中学)三、指导思想:面向全体学生,为学生今后可持续发展奠定基础。
教案设计力求符合学生生理和心理特点,尊重个性差异,满足不同层次学生的需求,激励学生大胆地使用英语,提供自主学习、相互探讨,充分表现和我发展的空间,这样能活跃思维,展现个性,拓展视野,激发创新意识。
遵循主体性教学原则、实践性教学原则、开放性教学原则以及民主型教学原则等。
四、学生分析(学生需要)该阶段的学生通过几年的学习,已基本适应了《牛津英语》的教学。
体会到了《英语课程标准(实验稿)》的精神,在体验、实践、参与、合作、交流和探究等方式中学到了一定量的知识。
同时也适应了初中英语的节奏,已初步入了门。
有了一定的口头交际能力、动手能力、自主学习能力、创新能力及合作精神,但在对语法知识运用方面缺乏系统总结能力。
有的同学无从下手,书上会的,课上也听懂了,但实际操作性差,对难题以及探究题缺乏深入研究处于一知半解的状态中,而本单元中的过去进行时是整个英语中必不可少的环节,它贯穿了整个单元以及整个英语教育系统,把英语与社会生活贴近,富有时代气息,体现时代精神,符合素质教育的要求,在教学中起着承前启后的作用,所以学生必须参与、理解、运用这一语言知识点并使之为以后的学习、生活服务,能更好的表达日常生活中的种种时间现象。
五、课材分析新课程标准强调课程应从学生的学习兴趣,生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验,实践,参与,合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用的能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和自主学习能力的过程。
我们可以清楚地看出,新课程标准要求以“学生为主体”的课堂教学模式,教师的角色应该从“演员”转变为“节目主持人”,把舞台还给学生,由学生当演员,唱主角,充分体现学生的主体地位,让学生充分发挥主体作用,提高课堂效率。
八年级下册unit2 Grammar:Gerunds教学设计I. Analysis of the teaching contents:In this part, we’ll learn about gerunds as subjects and objects of a sentence.II. Analysis of the students:Most students only know Ving form can be used in the present continous tense. They don’t know Ving form can be a gerund as the subject or object of a sentence.III. would like = want 想要1. be 为助动词,made 是及物动词make 的过去分词,of 后接宾语,be made of 的主语通常为成品。
be made from 后的原材料则看不出,be made in 主语是成品,介词in 后为产地,be made into 主语为原材料,介词into 后接成品。
the table is made of wood 。
这桌子是由木头制成的。
(可以看出原材料)paper is made from wood 。
纸是由木材制成的。
(看不出原材料)the comb is made in hong kong 。
这把梳子是香港制造的。
iron is made into knives 。
铁可以制成小刀。
2. afford 常接在can ,could ,be able to 之后,意为担负的起(…的费用,损失,后果等);抽的出(时间)。
afford 还有提供,给予,出产的意思。
3. on sale 上市;折价出售,减价出售。
for sale 待售,供出售。
7. (1)though 是从属连词,引导让步状语从句,和连词but 不能连用,但翻译时需译为但是。

(1)这句话中两个get的用法和意义各不相同。
第一个get用作及物动词,意为“产生;形成”,常与feeling(感觉;情感),idea(想法;主意)等词搭配使用。
第二个get用作连系动词,意为“变得;变为”,后接形容词,表示天气、情绪、体质等方面的改变。
(2)辨析such与sosuch和so都用于表示程度,意为“如此,这样”。
区别如下:afterschool reading program.去年,她决定参加一个课外阅读项目的志愿者选拔。
try out意为“参加……选拔;试用”。
当意为“参加……选拔”时,常与介词for连用。
典例3I'm making some signs to put up around the school.我正在制作一些标语,用来张贴在学校周围。
put up意为“张贴”,是“动词+副词”结构的短语,注意介词要放中间。
【拓展】up的常用短语还有:get up起床grow up长大cut up切碎cheer up(使)变得高兴;振奋起来clean up打扫清洁give up放弃call up打电话;征召pick up捡起come up with想出;提出典例4For example,we can make plans to visit sick children in the hospital or raise money for homeless people.例如,我们可以制订计划去看望生病住院的孩子们或者为无家可归的人筹钱。
