Step 1: Warm-up

1. Greeting and Introduction: T: Good morning, everyone. Ss: Good morning, teacher. T:

How are you today? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: Very well, thanks.

2. Interactive Q&A:

• T: Where are you going this weekend? S1: I’m going to... T: What are you going

to do there? S1: I’m going to... T: When are you going? S1: ... T: What is S1

going to do? S2: He’s/She’s going to... ... (Engage students in lively

conversations to review and solidify "be going to" sentence patterns.)

Step 2: Lead-in

1. Festival Discussion:

• T: Let's talk about different holidays. Can you tell me the names of these holidays?
