Unit1 单元总览教学设计第一部分单元总览1. 教材解读本单元紧紧围绕世界杰出女性成就这一话题,通过介绍中国及其世界杰出女性在不同领域的非凡成就,探讨女性在社会中的地位、价值和贡献,为学生(尤其是女同学)树立成才成长的榜样。
本单元学习可以帮助学生提高自身对妇女社会角色的认识,培养学生的社会责任感,事业心及其全球公民意识,帮助建立正确的性别观。
1.1 Warming Up 为学生展示了来自中法美英等国不同领域的杰出女性,并通过对她们事迹的简要介绍要求学生总结讨论出这些人物的共同点,随后便可得出女性伟人的标准。
在总结这一知识时,教师可以激活学生在book1第五单元对于曼德拉这位英雄的评价知识。
联系先前知识可以有效降低任务难度,帮助学生更好掌握这些女性伟人的基本介绍。
1.2 Pre-reading是Reading 的引入活动。
此部分共有两个问题。
问题一结合warming up中对Jane Goodall 的介绍要求学生思考实验室研究法和野外研究法二者的优势与不足,同时给出自己的理由。
随后学生通过标题和插图等来对文章内容进行一定预测。
1.3 Reading 提供了一篇名为“非洲野生动物学生”的文章,文章首先描述了Jane 和她的同事们在非洲原始森林里观察猩猩的一个片段,并阐述她选择这项工作的重要性及其她所取得的成就。
