教学目标:
1 知识目标:正确运用if 引导的条件状语从句
2 能力目标:能用if 引导的条件状语从句作出假设,用be going to/will谈论结果。
3 情感目标:本课时围绕party展开话题,贴近学生生活,符合他们热爱休闲的心理,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动。
教学策略和方法:
通过pair work,鼓励学生对if引出的结果进行推测。
教学重点、难点:
(1)重点句型:—I think I’m going to go to the party with Karen and Ann.
—If you do, you’ll have a great time.

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1. Revision
Revise some knowiedge about unit 4 with the class.
Step 2. Lead-in teach new word and phrases
Step 3. Let students look for new sentence structures ,then the teacher shows
them on the screen.
Step 4. 1a
Lead the students to watch 1a’s pictures , then match the statements with
responses.
Step 5. Explain be going to / will Tell the class the diffference between be going to and will.
Step 6. if句型
First, show 1a’s if drills to the students on the screen, encourage them to
say some about if-drill. Then the teacher draws a conclusion.
Step 7. if句型操练
The teacher leads the class to say a if-drill by showing a picture on the
screen.Then let them translate three Chinese sentences into English
sentences
