一、病毒基因组
基因组（genome） 1个配（精子或卵子），1个单倍体细胞或1个病毒所包含的全套遗传物质的总和。病毒核酸或为DNA或为RNA，可以统称为病毒染色体。
完整的病毒颗粒具有蛋白质外壳，以保护病毒核酸不受核酸酶的破坏，并能识别和侵袭特定的宿主。

What is Molecular Biology?
分子生物学是从分子水平研究生命现象、生命规律和生命本质的学科。

转录调控序列：非编码序列（non-coding sequence）

二十世纪初，美国遗传学家Morgan提
出了基因学说。他指出：种质必须由独
立的要素组成，我们把这些要素称为遗
传因子，或者简单地称为基因。

Morgan及其助手发现了连锁遗传
规律，并且第一次将代表某一性状的基因，同某一特定的染色体
遗传信息的载体。
1953年Watson和Crick提出DNA右手双螺旋模型，于1962年和Wilkins共享诺贝尔生理医学奖。
同年，Sanger首次阐明了胰岛素的一级结构，开创了蛋白质序列分析的先河，他于1958年获诺贝尔化学奖。
1954年Crick提出遗传信息传递的
中心法则。 1958年，Meselson和Stahl提出了 DNA的半保留复制。
1982年Prusiner提出“感染性蛋白质颗
粒”的存在；次年将这种蛋白颗粒命名
为朊病毒蛋白（prion protein, PrP）。
1997年，Prusiner因为发现朊病毒而获
得诺贝尔生理医学奖。
1984年，德国人Kohler、美国人
Milstein和丹麦科学家Jern由于发
展了单克隆抗体技术而分享了诺贝
1995年6月，德国正式开始HGP。
任务与进展
遗传图谱（genetic map)：定义

又称连锁图谱（linkage map)或遗传连锁图谱（genetic linkage map)，是指人类基因组内基因以及专一的多态性DNA标记 (marker)相对位置的图谱，其研究经历了从经典的遗传图谱到现代遗传图谱的过程。
从生物物理学角度的定义生命有三要素：物质、能量、信息在生物体的整个运动过程中，贯穿了物质、能量、信息三者的变化、协调和统一。

1984年Altman发现RNaseP的核酸组分 M1RNA具有催化活性，而该酶的蛋白质部分C5蛋白并无酶活性；这一发现改变了生物催化剂的传统概念，具有催化活性的RNA 被称为核酶（ribozyme）。
1989年美国科学家Sidney Altman和Thomas R.Cech因为各自独立地发现某些RNA也具有生物催化功能而分享了Nobel化学奖。
