【复习要点】（一）基数词基数词用来表示数目，或者说表示数量的词叫基数词。
最基本的基数词如下表所示。
1．13—19 是由个位数加后缀-teen 构成。
注意其中13、15 的拼写是thirteen 和fifteen。
2．20—90 由个位数加后缀-ty 构成，注意其中20—50 的拼写分别是twenty, thirty, forty 和fifty;80 的拼写是eighty。
3．其它非整十的两位数21—99 是由整十位数加连字符“-”，再加个位数构成。
如：81 eighty-one。
4．101—999 的基数词先写百位数，后加and 再写十位数和个位数。
如：691 six hundred and ninety-one。
5．1000 以上的基数词先写千位数，后写百位数，再加and，最后写十位数和个位数。
如：5893 five thousand eight hundred and ninety-three。
在基数词中只有表示“百”、“千”的单位词，没有单独表示“万”、“亿”的单位词，而是用thousand（千）和million（百万）来表达，其换算关系为：1 万=10 thousand;1 亿=100 million; 10 亿=a thousand million=a billion 。
6．多位数的读法：1）1000 以上的多位数，要使用计数间隔或逗号“，”。
即从个位起，每隔三位加一个间隔或逗号。
第一个间隔或逗号前是thousand（千），第二个间隔或逗号前是million（百万），第三个间隔或逗号前是a thousand million 或a billion(十亿)。
2）每隔三位分段以后就都成了101—999。
读的时候十位数（或个位数）的前面一般要加and。
如：888，000，000 读作：eight hundred and eighty-eight million。

知识点1：基数词和序数词(一)基数词——从1数到n阿1.1—12的基数词是独立的单词，即：one，two，three，four，five，six，seven，eight，nine，ten，eleven，twelve。
2.13—19的基数词以-teen结尾。
如：fourteen，seventeen等，但13，15，18较特殊，13—thirteen 15—fifteen 18—eighteen。
3.20—90的整十位均以-ty结尾。
如：sixty，ninety，但20，30，40，50，80较特殊，20—twenty，30—thirty，40—forty ，50—fifty ，80—eighty。
4.十位数与个位数之间要加连字符号“-”，如：28—twenty-eight，96—ninety-six。
5.百位和十位(若无十位则和个位)之间加and，如：148—one hundred and forty-eight ，406—four hundred and six。
6.hundred(百)，thousand(千)，million(百万)，billion(十亿)等前面即使有具体的数词，也不能在它们的后面加s。
如：600—six hundred，8百万—eight million。
(二)序数词——由基数词转变而来，表示“这是第n个”1.口诀巧记基数词变序数词：“一、二、三，特殊记，八去“t”，九去“e”，“ve”要用“f”替，见“y”变成“i”和“e”，词尾加上“th”，若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。
”第一、第二、第三分别：first，second，third，eight—eighth nine—ninth，five—fifth，twelve—twelfth，twenty—twentieth，forty—fortieth，twenty-five—twenty-fifth。

1、第一类：one 一two 二three 三four 四five 五six 六seven七eight 八nine 九ten 十eleven 十一twelve 十二这一类共计十二个单词，在结构上与其他的基数词相比较是特殊的，就象不规则的动词一样，要求逐个的硬背下来，这对学好其他的基数词和序数词都是及其重要的。
2、第二类：thirteen 十三fourteen 十四fifteen 十五sixteen 十六seventeen十七eighteen十八nineteen十九这一类基数词共有七个。
它们在结构上有两个特点：一是在发音方面都有两个重音；二是在拼法上都有后缀－ teen。
除了 thirteen 和 fifteen 之外，都是纯粹地在另一个基数词的后面加上后缀－ teen。
但要注意eighteen的拼法， eight 本身有 t 字母，因此只加－ een。
3、第三类：twenty 二十thirty 三十forty 四十fifty 五十sixty 六十seventy 七十eighty 八十ninety 九十这类基数词共有八个。
