Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Warming up
Show some pictures of the Festival and their names.
And show some questions :
What’s the Chinese name for this festival?And what’s it in English?
What do you know about this festival?
What do people often do on that day or during the festuval days?
Do you like this fetival? Why?
Step 3 1a-1c
Open the books and ask the students go through the tasks in 1a and finish it.
Then let the students read the four sentences and the teacher corrects their pronunciation and intonation to make sure they get the main idea of each sentence.
Play the tape for the first time and finish the task.
Check the answers and play the tape for the second time.
