本文就课前自由会话、选择合适的教学方法、创设交际情境几方面论述快乐学习英语的重要性。
关键词:英语学习,选择内容;激发兴趣在教师的眼里,学生还是孩子,而孩子的天性是追求快乐,因此,只有当学生感到学习是快乐的,才会保持持久的热情,投入更多的精力去学习。
这就要求教师必须在教学过程中以恰当的方法、技能和技巧,潜移默化地影响学生,激发学生学习的兴趣,使之在快乐中主动地学习,在愉悦的环境中体验并享受学习英语的快乐。

一、课前自由会话,创造快乐的前奏上英语课前,我和学生有五分钟左右的英语自由会话,常谈论天气、季节,最新的国家大事和发生在身边感兴趣的事,或是本单元涉及的主要内容,以表达师生个人情感,阐明各自的观点和态度。
例如,汶川大地震期间,我们谈论了earthquake。
当我们谈到有如此多的生命瞬间消失;如此多的人受伤;如此多的学生瞬间没有书读,全体学生都为之动容,有的甚至流下眼泪。
每个学生都表示要珍惜今天所拥有的一切。
这样,学生学习英语的兴趣更浓,学习效率也随之提高。
而且,课前的free talk通常要求学生要在课前有所准备,这就无形中让学生在课下自觉学习英语,在提高英语口语能力的同时,也拉近了师生间的距离,促进了师生间心灵的沟通,师生产生了共鸣。
二、选择合适的教学内容,为快乐铺设大道现行的英语教学中有些不协调的现象。
如很多教师根据教材的内容,有什么就教什么,往往不能满足学生的需要,不能将最新的、有用的、教科书中没有的内容教给学生,导致教学缺乏弹性和选择性,限制了学生的视野拓展。
我认真重新审视教材,对之进行适当地调整、补充和整合,使学习的内容更适合学生,更有利于学生的可持续性发展,更适合当今的高考内容和新课改形势。

一旦教学内容枯燥,教学方法单板,节奏慢,就会出现做小动作,在底下小声讲话等不良习惯。
陶行知说:“唤起兴趣,学生有了兴趣,就肯用全副精神去做事情,所以‘学’和‘乐’是不可分离。
”又说“治学以兴趣为主,兴趣愈多,则从事弥力,从事弥力则成效愈著。
”学生对问题产生了浓厚的兴趣,便会锲而不合地进行思考和探索。
我们教师应充分利用小学生活泼好动,爱表现,无意注意等特点,因势利导,尽可能将枯燥无味的语言装化为有趣的活动形式,从而激发学生的思维,提高学生的兴趣。
变“要我学”为“我要学”。
下面我就结合自己几年的英语教学谈谈自己的感受和理解。
一、我们必须营造一种和谐的气氛,让学生在轻松愉快的环境中学习英语。
只有在和谐宽松的课堂气氛中,才能使学生们怀着轻松愉快的心情投入学习,才敢于用英语大胆发言,积极思维,从而产生学习英语和施展才能的兴趣。
如在课堂的导人部分就可设置一些悬念来调调学生的胃口,这样学生的思维就会跟着老师转了,这要比直接出示
本课所教授的内容要好得多。
如果直接出示,学生一看就明白老师要教什么,没有新意,学生的兴趣当然就提不起来了。
有一课是关于香蕉这一内容,于是我制作了一个guess game的课件,用它来引出课题。
即让学生看大屏幕,开始大屏幕中央是一点点黄色,然后让学
生来猜:“what’sthis?”这时学生的答案有很多:it’s a
pear/lemon/mango/banana,…--等,然后用右手按动鼠标,黄色的范围渐渐扩大,再让学生猜,这时学生的答案也有多种,最后,再次按动鼠标,学生基本上可以看到香蕉的全貌,猜对的学生兴趣盎然,欢呼着喊道:“yeah”,学生情绪高涨。
二、充分利用多媒体实行情境教学
随着科技的发展,社会的进步,过去的“一支粉笔十一本书”的课堂模式已经不能满足现代教学的需要。
过去只在各类优质课中才出现的多媒体,现在在常态课中也能用到。
多媒体以其动人的画面,丰富的色彩,及音,像,色于一体,而且能够打破时空的限制,能够呈现真实的情景。
如要教授一篇关于下雨的课文,在一般课堂上,很难呈现这一情景。
教师很难用语言来表达这一情景。
如果课前录下下雨这一情景。
在上课时学生看着下雨的画面,听着雨声,能很好的感受这一情景,从而能更好的理解和感受课文多要表达的意境。
我们还可用幻灯片将所教的物体或单词显现出来,刺激他们的感官,增强印象。
有条件的话,甚至可用录像机拍下与课文内容相符的景象,进行录像教学。
例如,在教学有关介绍汽车的内容时,教师可预先在马路上、停车场拍下款式不同、风格各异的汽车,动态的、静态的汽车,行进中的引擎声、喇叭声都录下来。
这无疑会引起学生极浓的兴趣,充分调动他们的各种感官参与教学活动。
声音和形象相结合,语言和情景相交融,使学生仿佛进入了语言活动的真实情景,收到了很强的临场效果。
通过耳濡目染,极大地增强了学生的识记能力,
增强了学习效果,把枯燥的语言学习变成了轻松的录像欣赏。
如此乐事,学生又何乐而不为呢?
三、在教学中,充分发挥学生的主体性
要体现学生的主体性,首先我们可以改变传统的秧田式座位模式,师生面对面,教师成了课堂的中心,课改提出以后“以学生为主体的呼声越来越强,要突出”以学生为中心“的思想,就要在课堂教学中体现学生的主体地位。
在英语课上,我们可以打破传统的座位模式,把座位布置成圆形、半圆形或双圆形这样可以让学生面对面的交流,一方面开口交流的机会增多了。
另一方面,也能培养学生的自信心,是教学气氛更加融洽。
四、精心组织课堂教学,设计各种活动使课堂教学形式多样化。
小学生的年龄小,注意力很难集中,如果课堂单调,节奏缓慢,那
学生的注意力就很容易跑调,思想容易开小差,在底下做小动作,或是小声讲话。
那么教师就要精心设计各种各样的活动,努力使课堂教学形式多样化,让学生在课堂中感到新鲜,轻松,使学生喜欢上英语课,喜欢学习英语。
如可以采用唱歌、听口令做动作、做游戏、画画、情境表演等多种活动来调动学生的积极性,激发学生的学习兴趣。
1 唱歌。
在新知学习时,唱歌也能降低学习的难度,提高学生的积极性。
如:我们可以把需要学生掌握的单词、句子配入学生熟悉的曲调,学生既感到熟悉,又有些新鲜,在轻轻松松中掌握了新知识。
例如教句型“who’s the boy girl”,先将其套入“《hello who
are you》”的曲子中,引导学生有意识地从演唱中感知,直到熟练。
这样在优美的旋律和和谐的氛围中把学生带入英语知识的殿堂。
直至授课结束时,学生还沉浸在艺术享受之中,情绪仍然是那么兴奋、激昂,嘴里哼唱不止,体验了学英语的快乐。
2听口令做动作。
也可以称之为全身反应法,简称tpr。
这是一个能集中学生的注意力,很受学生欢迎的一种形式。
可以让学生动起来,课堂气氛甚是活跃。
如教学eye,nose,mouth,ear之后,如果还是让学生一遍遍的跟我读单词,学生会感到很疲倦,兴趣就没有了。
我就让学生听我的口令,做动作touchyour nose,touch your eye,touch your mouth,touchyour ear,这样学生的注意力一下子高涨起来了。
接着我让他们每组选派一名代表,看谁指得又快有准,我就给他们那一组加一颗星星。
学生都积极踊跃,想为本组加分。
这样,学生在轻轻松松的活动中掌握了所学。
3 游戏。
游戏是学生最感兴趣的活动方式。
游戏形式多样,如:猜物游戏、magic eyes,单词接龙,大转盘,击鼓传花。
需要教师平时多总结,多设计。
平时我在教学中经常和学生玩游戏,让学生在游戏中巩固所学内容。
如:我教12个月份和天气时,我设计了这样一个游戏,我把十二个月份的单词放入一个盒子中,把表示天气的单
词如hot,cold放入另一个盒子中,让一学生从两个盒子中歌曲一张,然后来连起来说一句话,如果这句话符合逻辑,则全班学生跟说该
句子,如果和事实相反则哈哈大笑说,显得形象生动。
五多给学生鼓励性的评价,增强学生的信心,激发学生学习的积
极性
在教学过程中,赞扬的功效要大大大于批评和不做批评。
对于学生的每一次回答,每一次作业都应该给与充分的恰当的鼓励。
根据学生回答的完善程度的分别使用good/very
good/excellent/wonderful,如果学生回答的不够完善,我会鼓励他们说think it over,try again,don’t be afraid,并通过大量的示范,表演和提示来帮助学生使用新词新语,用爱心去呵护,启迪每一个学生,让每一个学生都能均衡享受到阳光,是他们心理上得到满足,从而恢复他们积极向上的原动力。
要激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的学习积极性,使学生想学,爱学,乐学。
这就要教师通过营造和谐融洽的课堂气氛,在教学中努力体现学生的主体性,用多媒体创设情境,设计分丰富多彩的课堂组织形式以及多对学生进行鼓励性的评价等多种形式来充分调动学生的积极性,提高学生的学习兴趣。
