第一课时教学设计
一、教材分析:
本课是九年级第六单元第一课时,本单元以music(音乐)为中心话题,让学生学会用定语从句谈论自己所喜爱或偏好的艺术,学习表达自己的爱好。
从结构内容上说,定语从句是初中阶段必需了解的一种句法结构。本单元将通过一系列的练习(句型结构练习、听力练习、精读写作练习、自我检测、泛读练习)来达到学习目的,完成学习任务。本课时所进行的是基本的句型结构和部分听力练习,是整个单元学习的双基——基本和基础。

1. prefer更喜欢 prefer
过去式、过去分词 preferred 现在分词 perferring
Prefer A to B
prefer sb / sth 更喜欢某人/ 物
prefer doing sth = like doing sth better 更喜欢做某事
prefer sth to sth “比起„„更喜欢„„”
prefer doing sth to doing sth 比起做„„更喜欢做„„ (prefer后为喜欢的,to后为不喜欢的)
eg: I prefer doing to talking. prefer to do sth 更想去做某事
prefer to do sth rather than do sth “宁愿做某事而不愿做某事”
= would rather do sth than do sth
eg: He preferred to telephone her rather than write to her. 他宁愿给她打电话,也不愿给她写信。
2.(1)along with = together with “随同„„一起”
(2)sing along with„„= sing to„„ “跟着„„一起唱”
(3)dance to„„= dance along with„„“跟着„„一起跳”dance to 后多接指音乐和歌曲的名词,代词。
eg: They danced to the light music. 他们随着轻音乐跳舞
3.remind sb of sb / sth 使某人想起某人/ 物
eg: The pictures remind me of my school days.这些照片让我想起了我的学生时代。

定语从句的用法:定语从句在句中作定语,修饰名词、代词,被修饰的名词、词组或代词叫先行词。定语从句在先行词后,由关系代词(who, whom, whose, that, which)或关系副词引导。现阶段主要掌握关系代词的用法。
1. who, whom & that 这些词代替的先行词是表示人的名词或代词,在从句中做主语或宾语。e.g.
He is the man that /who wants to see you. 他就是想见你的人。(who/ that 在从句中作主语) He is the man that/ whom I saw yesterday. 他就是我昨天见到的人。(whom/that在从句中作宾语)
2. which & that 它们所替代的先行词是表示事物的名词或代词,在从句中作主语或宾语等。e.g.
The book that / which I am reading is about China. ( that/ which 在从句中作宾语) She
doesn’t like the songs that / which are too long. ( that /which 在从句中作主语)
