(Go over the colours by songs and rhymes.) 2.Free talk to go over the patterns in Unit 1.Step 2: Presenting the main dialogue1.In the dialogue, the colour name red is learnt, while the colour name green is new.2.Have pupils look at the picture. Ask simple questions to help them understand the picture, for example:(1)Who can you see in the picture?(2)Who is the boy? Then point to the colours randomly, and ask pupils to say the colour word.Step 4: Consolidation1.Teach or revise the words: hair, nose, eyes, mouth, and ears…2.Invite pupils to imagine that they are Janet and Jiamin. They will continue the dialogue by talking about how to colour the hair, nose, eyes, mouth, and ears, of the person in Janet's picture. Note that there are no absolute right or wrong answers. Give one example to the pupils using hair. 这是学生在生活中随处可见的熟悉的内容,能有效地激发学生的学习兴趣,也有利于他们把课堂上学到的知识应用到现实生活中,使学生感受到英语学习的乐趣。
本课时是会话教学,围绕funny face 展开对话,学生要用英语说出颜色和物品;主要的句型有:Look at……;Let’s colour the …等。
其中身体部位单词为已学过的内容。
而look at/funny/crayon则是本课时的新知识。
生二年级时已初步接触过与colour有关的内容,谈及颜色的问题,他们也亲切熟悉,对色彩能较易理解,但因要记住相应的颜色。
2、本单元中的不少单词也都耳熟能详,如yellow,white,blue,purple,black…等词,但词汇量大,教学中应循序渐进,分解难度,帮助学生分类分音节记忆单词,效果会更佳。
