从三年级开始，我所任教的就是1到9个班的英语，工作量比初中时大了些，但我看到3年级孩子稚气未脱的脸，我就心里暗暗下地目标：让他们在小学就把英语基础打扎实。

但英语是一门外语，对于学生而言，既生疏又困难，在这样一种环境下，要教好英语就要让学生喜欢上英语，让他们对英语有兴趣，否则学生对这门学科产生畏难情绪，不愿学，也无法学下去。

在课堂上的教学，我采取的是教会学生音标，用音标知识来拼读每个单元的新单词；对于简单的对话，我实行当堂课就能背诵并过关，有部分学困生对课文对话不能朗读时，在课余时间我们采取的是一对一帮扶对子的方式，让优生来教学困生当天所教的对话，教会后，再进行操练。

在第二堂课时，我会再次抽这部分学困生来朗读上次课的对话，及时了解他们的学习情况，掌握一对一帮扶小组的进展情况。

因为我采取的是小组合作的形式，所以评价是一个很好的武器。

只要一对一的优生与学困生在一个单元的学习后，双方都有进步或收获，就及时在班上作出表扬；对于没有多大进展的帮扶小组，要耐心并认真地跟他们沟通，分析问题出自哪里？并及时正确地作出调整，让他们都有信心把帮扶小组活动坚持下去。

在课堂上，抽帮扶小组的中部分学生，让他们互相比较哪个帮扶小组更出色，更优秀，这样让他们愿意说，抢着说，那你还怕他们没兴趣吗？这样既提高了学生的兴趣又增强了他们的团队合作意识。

其实，我还在教学中把课文的情景与生活相结合，鼓励他们将每日的衣食起居都用上我们在课文中所学的英语，这样达到日积月累的目的；此外，我还用英语格言来励志，用幽默故事来调动孩子们的兴趣。
