Step 1:设疑自探

Greeting.

Let the students review the words according to cards.( how, old, five, one, nine,

ten)

Today we will learn ‘let’s learn”,now look at page 23,what questions can you ask？

How to prastise “how old are you”?

step 2:解疑合探

Let the students listen to the tape and repeat.then deal with the questions in groups.

Let students practise the dialogue in pairs or in groups.

Encourage the students to make a short dialogue and use the following words.

eg: How old are you?

I’m nine.

4. Then choose some students to show their dialogues.
