四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
Learn the chant. my是我的,your是你的,男的他是 his, 女的她是 her; 名词前面常站岗,限定所属有功劳。
Step 2 Leading-in
Show a pencil from one of students in class and say:
What’s this in English? Is this your pencil?
Help them answer, then write down“Is this your pencil?”on
the blackboard .
Step 3 Presentation
(1) Study the new words.
Show some pictures or the school things to the students
and ask them to be little teachers.
---What’s this in English ?
--- It’s a pen / pencil / an eraser….
--- Is this your pencil? No, it isn’t./Yes, it is.
(2) Get the students to match the words with the things in the
picture.(1a)
(3) Get the students to read these words correctly.
Step4 Present the drills:
1.Present the drill “Is this…? Yes/No, it is/isn’t.”
2. Present the drill “Is that…? Yes/No, it is/isn’t.”

Step 5 Lising and doing pairwork
1b The first time only listen, the second time,listen and
number the conversations. Then give the report.
2a Look at the picture and say their English name. Then take
out the objects in 2a and put them on the desk, let them pick
up the things they hear.
2b First read the words,then listen and complete the
conversation. Reading role by role (2b)
Step 6 Make a new conversation like this:
A: Excuse me, What’s this / that in English?
B: It’s a / an….

B: Yes/No, it is/isn’t.
