我想成为一名照顾老人的志愿者英语作文I Want to Be a Volunteer Caring for the ElderlyHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade and I love school, reading, arts and crafts, and playing soccer. But today I want to talk to you about something really important to me - volunteering to help take care of elderly people.I know what you might be thinking - "A 10-year-old wanting to work with old people? That's kind of weird!" But just hear me out. Taking care of the elderly is one of the most wonderful and meaningful things a person can do. The elderly have lived such long, full lives and have so much wisdom and interesting stories to share. But oftentimes, they can feel very lonely, especially if their families live far away or they are in nursing homes without many visitors. That's where kid volunteers like me can come in and brighten their days!It all started when my grandmother, who I call Nana, moved into an assisted living home last year. Nana is 87 years old and unfortunately she has been having some health issues like trouble walking and memory problems. My parents decided it would be safer and better for her to live somewhere withcaregivers and nurses who could keep an eye on her. At first, I was really sad about Nana leaving her house and moving away. But my parents explained that it was for the best, and they encouraged me to visit her as often as I could.I'll never forget the first time I went to Nana's new home. I was honestly a little nervous because I didn't know what to expect. But as soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted by the kindest staff and the cutest little old ladies sitting in the lobby, smiling and waving at me. Nana's face just lit up when she saw me. She hugged me tight and told me how happy she was that I came to see her.Over the next few weeks, I started visiting Nana more regularly after school. I would sit with her and we would color pictures together, play checkers, or she would read to me from her favorite books. Nana has the most soothing, magical voice for reading out loud! Sometimes I would meet the other residents who lived there too. There was a sweet man named Frank who loved telling funny jokes that would make everyone laugh. And a lady named Ruth who used to be a dance teacher and would show me some ballet moves. Spending time there, I realized how unbelievably special and precious our elderly family members and neighbors are.But I also noticed how some of the residents didn't seem to get many visitors at all. They would sit alone in their rooms or in the hallways looking sad and bored. It broke my heart to see that. These people had lived such long lives filled with stories and accomplishments. And now, toward the end of their lives, they felt invisible and forgotten. That's when I decided - I wanted to become a volunteer at assisted living homes specifically to spend quality time with the residents who didn't have much family around. Just being a friendly face, someone to talk to and do activities with, could make such a difference in their lives.I did some research and it turns out there are lots of great organizations that welcome kid volunteers at nursing homes, retirement communities, and other elderly care facilities. With my parents' permission, I signed up to volunteer a few hours every week after school. The staff was so excited to have me! They gave me training on how to properly interact with the elderly, including being patient, speaking slowly and clearly, and making sure to treat every resident with respect and dignity. They also taught me some fun activities like arts and crafts, singing silly songs, and playing simple games that the residents enjoy. My first day as a volunteer was one of the most amazing, heart-warming experiences of my life. I got to meet so many warm, hilarious, caring elderly people who seemed thrilled to have a young person like me to chat with. I helped one lady named Sophie make a beautiful beaded necklace for her granddaughter's birthday. I played checkers with a man named Jim who loved telling stories about when he served in the army back in World War 2. I sang "You Are My Sunshine" with a group of residents, which is a classic song they all remembered from their childhoods. Seeing their faces light up with joy and hearing them reminiscing about old memories was the most incredible feeling.Every time I volunteer, I just feel so happy and grateful to be able to spend time with such wise, wonderful people who have given so much to the world over their lifetimes. I know the residents really appreciate having some young energy and fresh faces around too! We keep each other's spirits up. I love being a volunteer caring for the elderly so much that I've started convincing my friends to get involved too. It's such an easy way to make a positive difference, just by giving a listening ear and a warm smile. As I got to know more of the residents, I started learning about their incredible life stories. Like Gloria, who was a nurse during World War 2 and saved countless lives. And Charlie, who grew up in poverty during the Great Depression but went on to become a very successful businessman. And Miriam, who fell in love with her husband when they were both teenagers working at the same ice cream shop! They've seen and experienced so much that we could never fully understand. All of their stories and memories are treasures that deserve to be honored and preserved.I think spending quality time with the elderly is one of the greatest gifts we can give. For many of them, having a friendly visitor brighten their day makes such a difference in their happiness and quality of life, especially if they don't have much family around anymore. Loneliness can be such a huge problem for the elderly. But volunteers can help provide companionship, smiles, and happy moments to look forward to.At the same time, we as the younger generation have so much to learn and gain from the elderly as well! They have invaluable wisdom about life, love, facing adversity with courage and perseverance. They can teach us so many important lessons just from sharing their experiences and perspectives. The elderlyremind me to be grateful for what I have, to appreciate the journey of life, and to never give up on my dreams no matter how impossible they may seem at first.Being a volunteer caring for the elderly has impacted me in such a profoundly positive way. It's helped me become more patient, more grateful, kinder, and have more empathy for others. I've made so many magical memories singing songs, playing games, learning new skills like knitting and woodworking, and just talking and laughing with the most incredible group of elderly friends. My life has been enriched beyond measure by getting to know each of their beautiful personalities and listening to their fascinating life stories.I highly encourage everyone, especially kids and teenagers, to get involved with volunteering at nursing homes or elderly care facilities if you can. You'll make so many new friends, create happy memories, and most importantly, you'll be making the world a little bit brighter for some of the wisest, most resilient, most inspiring people on the planet. The elderly have given so much to all of us already. Now it's our turn to give a little bit of joy and care back to them during this later stage of life. Trust me, it will be one of the most rewarding experiences you'll ever have.So that's why I absolutely love being a volunteer caring for the elderly! I can't wait to continue doing it for many more years to come. The elderly are so precious and have made me appreciate the beauty of growing old and living a long, full life to the absolute max. By volunteering, I've gained a deep appreciation for our elders and the incredible people they are. I hope you'll join me in being part of this wonderful cause that brings smiles, stories, and warm friendships to so many wise souls in our community.。

It's all about pitching in and doing your part for a good cause. The Fall Festival raises money for things like new playground equipment for schools, books for the library, and supplies for the animal shelter. It's a super important event that helps make our community better!I may be just a kid, but I'm responsible and mature for my age. I always clean my room, do my chores without being asked, and get good grades at school. My parents and teachers arealways saying how I'm such a great helper. I'm not afraid of hard work at all. In fact, I love working hard and staying busy!If I got to be a volunteer, I would be the best helper ever. I'm crazy good at things like setting up tables and chairs, passing out flyers, and whatever other little jobs need doing. I'm strong too - I could totally help lift heavy stuff or run errands all over the festival grounds. No job would be too big or too small for me to take on with a big smile. And you know what? I'm also really friendly and fun to have around. If I was volunteering at the kid's game booths, I'd make sure every single boy and girl had a total blast. I'd greet them with a big smile, hand out prizes to the winners, and cheer everyone on. Kids always have more fun when the volunteers are positive and energetic. That's me for sure!Grown-ups are always saying that kids these days are lazy and only care about screens and video games. But that's sooooo not true, at least for me anyway. Volunteering is a way to show that kids can be hard workers who care about their community. We're the future of this town, so we gotta start pitching in and learning responsibility early on, right?Being a volunteer is also an amazing way for a kid to learn leadership skills. When you volunteer, the adult leaders have toput trust in you to follow directions, work as a team, and see jobs through to the end. That's excellent practice for becoming a leader myself one day in the future. Who knows, maybe I'll be running big community events like this when I'm all grown up!Volunteerism is a huge part of what makes our town such a warm, giving community. Everyone locally knows about the Fall Festival and how it brings us all together to celebrate and give back each year. If I got to play a tiny part in that as a volunteer, it would make me feel so proud of myself and my hometown. I'd be beaming with Walker County pride, that's for sure!Speaking of pride, being a volunteer would make my family really proud too. My mom and dad are always going on about the importance of serving others and being a good neighbor. If I got selected to volunteer, they'd be bursting with pride over their son putting those values into action. My little brother would think I'm the coolest kid ever, getting to miss school for a day to do real, important work at the festival grounds.I know there's probably a ton of other kids who want to volunteer too, so I have a lot of competition. But I'm ready to show the world how responsible and community-minded I can be! This is my chance to step up and contribute somethingpositive. I pinky-promise to work my tail off and be the best kid volunteer this festival has ever seen!So pretty please, consider letting me be part of the volunteer team? I'll do whatever it takes - setting up, cleaning up, helping with games and booths, you name it. I'm a hard worker who wants to make the festival a total success for our whole town. Let me be your go-to kid volunteer, putting smiles on faces and showing that age is just a number when it comes to rolling up your sleeves. I've got energy, spirit, and commitment coming out of my ears! Thanks for considering my application, and hopefully I'll see you at the festival next month! I'll be the little redheaded kid running around doing everything I can to ensure we all have a blast. Go Walker County! Woo-hoo!篇2My Big Dream to Be a VolunteerHi everyone! My name is Johnny and I am 10 years old. I am in the 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my big dream to become a volunteer for the upcoming City Park Cleanup event!Ever since I was a little kid, my mom and dad have always taught me how important it is to help others and give back to the community. They said volunteering is a great way to make the world a better place. I remember one time when I was 6 years old, we volunteered at a food bank during the holidays. We packed boxes full of canned foods, fresh fruits and veggies to give to families who didn't have enough food. It made me feel so good inside to help people in need. That's when I decided I wanted to do more volunteering when I grew up.Last year, my class took a field trip to City Park. It's a huge park right in the middle of our town with lots of trees, flowers, walking paths, playgrounds and fields. We had so much fun playing frisbee, having picnics, and just running around. But I also noticed there was a lot of litter scattered all over the ground. Candy wrappers, soda cans, plastic bags, you name it! It made me really sad to see such a beautiful park being trashed. When we got back to school, I learned that City Park does a huge cleanup event every spring. They invite volunteers from all across the community to come pick up litter and spruce up the park. As soon as I heard about it, I knew volunteering for the City Park Cleanup was the perfect opportunity for me!Being outside in nature is one of my most favorite things in the world. I love looking at all the different trees, plants and creatures. Whenever I'm at the park, I make sure to stay on the walking paths so I don't step on any wildflowers or crunch any little bugs. I try my best to take care of the environment in little ways like using both sides of my paper, recycling, and turning off lights when I leave a room.Volunteering for the City Park Cleanup combines my love for nature with my passion for helping others. It would make me so proud to roll up my sleeves and pick up all that litter. Just picturing a nice, clean park with green grass, clear trails, and no trash Makes me jump for joy! I would work really hard to bag up as much litter as I possibly could. No piece of trash would be left behind if I was on the job!Another reason why I really want to volunteer is because I love meeting new people and making friends. Volunteering seems like a great way to work alongside others who care about the same things I do. We could all become "Park Pals" while cleaning up side-by-side. I bet I could teach the other volunteers some really funny jokes to make the work go by quicker and more fun. I know all the best knock knock jokes, like:Knock knock!Who's there?Beets.Beets who?Beets me, I love volunteering!Get it? It would be a million laughs!I may be just a kid, but I'm going to work my hardest if I get to volunteer. I'll bring my own gardening gloves to wear and a big reusable bag to collect litter in. I'll also bring plenty of snacks and water to stay hydrated and energized. My mom can pack an extra lunch for me with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, baby carrots, apple slices, and a chocolate chip granola bar for energy. And don't you worry, I'll definitely listen to the instructions from the adult volunteers and follow all the safety rules.Volunteering for the City Park Cleanup means more to me than just picking up trash though. It's about taking care of the place where I have endless fun and adventures with my friends. It's about preserving nature and all its beauty for many more generations of kids to be able to enjoy. It's about coming together as a community to make our world a tiny bit better, one piece of litter at a time. Simply put, it's the chance to live out mydream of being a volunteer and start making a difference while I'm still young.I know there will probably be a lot of other kids and grownups who want to volunteer too. But I hope you'll pick me! I may be small, but I have a big heart for volunteering and lots of energy to run around the park picking up litter all day long. Just saying my name fills me up with pride and determination - Johnny, the City Park Cleanup Volunteer! I promise to work harder than anyone to leave the park sparkling clean. So please, let me be a part of this very important event. It would mean so much to me. Thank you for considering my application!篇3My Dream to VolunteerHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School. I really want to tell you why I should be picked as a volunteer for the big Summer Fun Festival that's coming up. It would mean so much to me!Ever since I was a little kid, I've always loved helping others. I'm the kind of person who gets excited about doing nice things for people. Whenever my mom needs help around the house, I jump up ready to lend a hand. I help her fold the laundry, set thetable for dinner, and tidy up my room without even being asked! My teachers always say I'm a great helper in the classroom too. If somebody drops their pencil case, I'm the first to pick it up for them. If we're working on an art project, I'm happy to share my supplies.Being kind and helpful just makes me feel good inside. It's not because I'm trying to show off or get a reward. I do it because I genuinely care about others and want them to feel happy. That's why I would be perfect as a volunteer - I'm not looking for anything in return, I simply love serving others. My parents have raised me to be a caring person who thinks about others before myself. We always go through my old toys and clothes when I've outgrown them and donate ones in good shape to charity. On holidays, we buy gifts for kids who don't have much. And once a month, we volunteer together at the local soup kitchen, dishing out hot meals. It makes me happy to see the smiles on people's faces when we help them.At school, I'm a member of the Kindness Klub (that's really how they spell it with a K!). We do nice projects to spread joy, like making cards for nursing home residents and collecting canned foods for the food pantry. It makes me sad to think there are people out there who are lonely or don't have enough to eat.Even though I'm just a kid, I'm determined to make a difference in any way I can.I'm also a really hard worker who doesn't give up easily. My teachers are always telling my parents how I go above and beyond on assignments and put in 100% effort. I study super hard for tests and quizzes too because I take my schoolwork seriously. If you pick me to volunteer, I promise to work my tail off and be the best helper ever! I'll get to the festival early, pay close attention, and carefully follow all the instructions from the grown-ups in charge.Another reason I'd be an awesome volunteer is that I'm a total people person! I was definitely born to be a super social butterfly. I can already speak a little Spanish from practicing with my friends and I'm an expert at making new buddies. I love meeting new people, learning about their lives, playing games together, and most of all making them laugh with my silly jokes. As a volunteer, I bet I could make a lot of kids smile and feel welcome at the festival! My favorite subjects in school are art and music because I'm a creative person who loves exploring my artistic side. We have a special art club at my school where we do fun crafts like painting, drawing, making clay sculptures, and more. I've already told myparents that I'd love to volunteer at the festival's arts & crafts station so I can share my creativity with others. It would be so fun teaching kids how to make all sorts of cool masterpieces! I can practically hear their joyful laughter already.I also have a big imagination and lots of energy to keep younger kids engaged and entertained. Maybe I could even help invent some fun new games we could play at the festival. Thinking up creative ideas and then getting to see them in action is my absolute favorite. I bet it would feel amazing to look around at all the happy families, knowing I had a hand in organizing the awesome activities.Unfortunately, my family doesn't have a lot of extra money. My mom is a nurse and my dad is a teacher, so they work really hard but we're certainly not rich. That's why I haven't been able to go to many of the big events and festivals in our town before. They always look like so much fun, but the tickets and games can be kind of pricey, especially for a family of five like us. If you pick me to volunteer, I'd finally get to be part of the excitement! It would seriously mean the world to me. I promise to be the most helpful, hard-working, energetic, friendly kid volunteer you've ever had! I've been counting down the days till summer and have had my heart set on helping out at the festival formonths now. Pretty please say yes and let me join the fun! I'll do my absolute best to make sure every kid and family has a joyful, memorable experience. With my positive attitude and beaming smile, how could I not brighten everyone's day? Thanks so much for considering me! I'll be dreaming about the festival every night until I hear back. Keep your fingers crossed for me!Sincerely,Emma篇4My Big Dream to Be a VolunteerHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I'm in 5th grade at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Today I want to tell you about my big dream of being a volunteer! You see, last month there was this really cool event at our school called the Fall Festival. It was so much fun! There were games, prizes, face painting, food trucks, and even a petting zoo with little baby goats and bunnies. I had such a blast going to all the different booths and activities with my friends. But you know what the best part was? Seeing all the teenage volunteers running everything! They were the ones painting faces, handing out prizes, helping little kids at the game booths, and just making sure everyone was having a good time. They all looked so happy and like they were having a lot of fun too. That's when I realized - being a volunteer looks like the most awesome job ever!I went home that night and told my mom and dad all about my big dream to be a volunteer when I'm older. At first they didn't really get it. They were like "Huh? You want to work for free? That doesn't make any sense Timmy!" But I tried to explain how it's not really "work" - it's getting to help others and be a part of something super fun and important.I think my parents finally understood after I described how the teen volunteers were the ones making the whole Fall Festival possible. Without them, there's no way all those booths and activities could have happened. Those volunteers were vital! By giving up a little time, they got to be a part of creating a special day for our whole community. How cool is that? Now my mom and dad totally see why I'm so interested in volunteering. In fact, they were reminiscing about their own days volunteering as teenagers - building houses, visiting seniors, thatkind of stuff. They got to experience the amazing feeling of pitching in and giving back. It made them happy and proud. I could see the nostalgia in their eyes as they recalled those meaningful memories. So when I grow up, I totally want to have lots of volunteer experiences like that under my belt. Hopefully I can start gaining some experience now, even as a kid! My parents are looking into opportunities for me, like maybe helping out at an animal shelter or keeping parks clean. I'm so excited to get started!I know being a volunteer won't be easy. It will require sacrificing my free time, having a lot of patience, and working really hard. But in my mind, the rewards will be so worth it. Just picturing the smile on someone's face because of my help...that would make me feel awesome. Knowing I'm doing my part to make the world a little bit better place? That's life-changing stuff. What it all comes down to is this: Volunteers are heroes. They're the glue that holds communities together through their selfless actions. To me, there's no greater way to spend your time on this planet. When I hang out with my elderly neighbors, they're always going on about how much society has changed and how kids these days are selfish and only care about technology. But I want to prove them wrong! I hope byvolunteering I can be a part of a new generation that shows compassion and pitches in for the greater good.I may only be a 5th grader now, but it's honestly never too early to start making a positive difference. My big dream is to one day be voted "Volunteer of the Year" at whatever organization I'm giving my time to. How cool would that be?! People looking at me with appreciation and respect, thanking me for all my hard work...that's the dream right there. First I'll start small though, going step-by-step and doing my best at each opportunity that comes my way.I have lots of energy, I'm a fast learner, and I'm always eager to lend a hand however I can. Those are some of the strengths I'll bring as a volunteer. Sure, I may still have some growing up to do when it comes to patience and focusing. But I'll work on those and use the volunteer experiences to improve myself too. It's a win-win!In conclusion, volunteering is the perfect way for me to make the world a little bit brighter, while also building super valuable skills like responsibility and leadership. It combines my biggest passions - helping others, getting involved in my community, and doing it all with a positive attitude! I'm only a kid but thisisn't some far-off fantasy. It's a real, achievable goal I can start working towards today. So if you're picking volunteers, pretty please consider me! I promise to work my tail off and be a shining example of how kids can make a difference too. This is just step one of many towards my lifelong dream of being a volunteer superhero. Let's do this!篇5My Trip to Volunteer LandHi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I go to Oakwood Elementary School and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you all about the time I applied to be a volunteer for our school's big Fall Festival! It was such an exciting adventure. It all started one day when my teacher, Mrs. Robertson, told the class that the PTA was looking for student volunteers to help out at the Fall Festival. The festival is this huge event our school does every year with games, food, a dunk tank, and all sorts of fun activities. Mrs. Robertson said they needed volunteers to run the game booths, sell tickets, and assist with setting up and cleaning up.As soon as she mentioned it, my best friend Sophia leaned over and said "We have to do it Jamie! It would be so much funto volunteer." I wasn't sure at first because I had never volunteered before. But Sophia convinced me it would be an awesome experience. That night at dinner, I told my parents I wanted to apply to be a Fall Festival volunteer. My dad asked me why I wanted to volunteer instead of just attending the festival like usual. I had to think about it for a moment, but then I explained that I thought it would be really cool to be one of the people actually running the event and making sure it was a success. My mom smiled really big and said she was proud of me for wanting to volunteer. The next day, Mrs. Robertson handed out volunteer applications. It asked for basic info like my name, age, and grade level. But it also had a section to explain in a short paragraph why I wanted to volunteer and what responsibilities I would be able to handle. I worked really hard on my paragraph, saying how I was a responsible student and really wanted to gain experience in helping organize a big event for my school community. I also mentioned that I loved hanging out with my friends, so the social aspect of volunteering would be fun for me.A few days later, Mrs. Robertson announced that Sophia and I had been selected as volunteers! We were both so excited. Over the next few weeks, we attended a couple meetings with the PTAvolunteers who were coordinating everything. They walked us through how to run the game booths, handle money, and assist with set up and clean up. It seemed like a lot of responsibility, but I was ready for the challenge. Finally, the big day arrived - the Fall Festival! Sophia and I had to get to school super early in the morning to start setting up all the booths, games, tables and activities. It was a lot of work carrying everything outside and getting it all organized, but it felt really good to be helping make the festival happen.Once everything was set up, the festival opened and crowds of kids, parents and teachers started arriving. Sophia and I took turns working the ring toss booth. We had to dress up in fun costumes and do a little dance to try to get people to play our game. At first I was a little nervous talking to so many people, but eventually I got into the spirit and started having a blast. My favorite part of the whole day was when a little kindergarten girl won a huge teddy bear at my ring toss game. She looked up at me with the biggest smile on her face and gave me a high five. Moments like that made all the hard work feel worthwhile. After the festival ended, Sophia and I stuck around to help clean up. We had to take down all the booths and activities, thenseparate the trash from the recycling and broken-down boxes. My arms were so sore by the end of the night from moving everything and carrying heavy objects. But I felt so accomplished knowing I had played a big role in making the event a success.A couple days later at school, the PTA volunteers came to our classroom to personally thank Sophia and me. They said the Fall Festival raised more money than ever before for classroom supplies and equipment. We even got celebrated at a school assembly and received certificates for our volunteer efforts. Seeing my parents clapping for me in the audience was such a proud moment.Looking back, I'm so glad I decided to apply as a volunteer for the Fall Festival. It was definitely a lot of hard work, but it taught me so many valuable lessons. I gained real experience in what it takes to plan and execute a big event like that. I had to be a team player, manage my time wisely, and really take initiative. Most importantly, I walked away knowing what it feels like to go the extra mile for my school and community through volunteering.I think more kids should get involved with volunteering at school events and activities. It's such an amazing way to gain skills, give back, and just feel really good about yourself. Justimagine how cool the world would be if every kid volunteered even a few hours here and there. That's a world I would definitely want to live in!So what are you waiting for? There are always volunteer opportunities out there, whether it's at your school, a community center, an animal shelter, or a food bank. Don't be afraid to raise your hand and apply to volunteer - I'm living proof that even a 10-year-old kid can do it! Just approach it with enthusiasm, commitment and a big smile. Who knows, you might just find your new calling in Volunteer Land! Thanks for reading my essay, and happy volunteering!。

To be a volunteer
Holding a irrelevant attitude, I participated in a volunteer training with my classmates in the youth activity center of Mianyang on November 21th, 2015. To my surprise, I found that I had liked the feeling of being a volunteer in the end. Although I was really tired and just had a few minutes to rest the whole day, I was happy that I had such a meaningful day.
On that day, I, with my best friend, got up at 6:00am. It’s so early that we were listless and we also regretted joining the volunteer. When we arrived at the center at 8:35, we knew we were late and we saw many people had arrived and they were waiting for us. I was suddenly shamed of being late and sat down in the nearest place with my classmates from Mianyang Teacher’s collage. Ten minutes later, We went out of classroom and played games together. Before the games, we were divided into six groups and each group had a mentor and also a leader. Then we started the games with people we didn’t know before. Many games were very difficult and needed every one to unite. For example, we made a game called:”by the strong sisterly partiality.” This game needed everyone use their own and others’ body parts to complete, according to the requirement of the cards. So, each person should trust his teammates. We learned how to unite and how to trust others.
At the end of the training, the teacher said to us:” Being a volunteer means to that we have to devote a lot of time, and we must pay more attention to others.”After a day of training, I learned many useful things from this training that I have never learned in class, then I decided to be a good volunteer finally. I wanted to let more and more people feel happier and happier.
Volunteering is very tired, and we will meet many problems in the process. But when I see others smile for me, I will feel very happy too. There are originally a simple principle of being a volunteer, to give others happiness, to
receive happiness too.
In a word,If everyone helps out a bit, the world will be more
colorful. Let us do something significant and selfless.。
