一、用法：表示在过去某一时间或动作之前已经发生或完成了的动作或状态，即“过去的过去”。
二、构成：had+ 过去分词 had not（hadn't ） + 过去分词
三、时间状语：by the end of, by the time / when / before＋从句（一般过去时）
