Module 2 No DrugsI．教学内容分新本模块以“No Drugs”为话题。

学生通过本模块的学习，要对drugs和smoking有所了解，并通过深人探讨认识到drugs和smoking对身体健康的害处，以及它们引发的社会问题。

学生通过学习可以树立远离香烟和毒品的意识，养成良好的生活习惯，关爱社会，关心他人，并可以运用所学知识以恰当的方式来规劝他人远离香烟和毒品。

Introduction首先让学生通过对有关吸烟数据的判断，初步认识吸烟的危害，然后让学生学习有关香烟、吸毒和其危害性的词汇，并通过对三个问题的讨论对其进一步理解和巩固。

Reading and Vocabulary学习另外一些毒品的名称及相关的词汇。

通过学习一篇外国年轻人吸毒、戒毒的文章和另外一篇关于毒品危害性的文章让学生掌握这些相关词汇；通过完成相关的阅读练习来培养学生的阅读能力，让学生深刻体会到毒品对人心身的危害。

Grammar J学习动词不定式作目的状语，并弄清in order to和SO as to的用法。

Function学习SO，as a result of和as a result表示“结果”的用法，并通过练习来巩固所学内容。

Listening and Vocabulary首先让学生了解和学习有关犯罪的词汇，然后采用回答问题和完成句子的形式来对听力内容进行检测，培养学生的听力能力。

Grammar2由练习引出引导结果状语从句的词，并弄清SO…that和such…that的区别，然后通过练习来巩固其用法。

Pronunciation通过听力活动学会在日常交际中如何表达个人情感。

Speaking通过回答问题的形式讨论吸烟带来的危害。

Writing首先为一封有关戒烟话题的email选择合适的题目，然后对其内容做出讨论，最后在讨论的基础上写一封回信。

Everyday English学习同意或不同意的表达法，并通过模拟真实语境来练习运用。

从而鼓励学生远离烟和毒品，养成良好的生活习惯，关爱社会关爱他人，并通过所学知识运用恰当方式规劝他人也远离烟和毒品。

1.1 INTRODUCTION通过对抽烟数据的检测，让学生了解吸烟的危害，并通过英英释义的方式进一步熟悉词汇，最后利用对三个问题的讨论来引出另一个话题: drug use。

1.2 READING AND VOCABULARY 阅读部分是打乱顺序的两篇不同类型的文章，通过给两篇文章选标题的方式培养学生的逻辑分析能力。

然后通过练习使学生掌握有关drug use的词汇，并培养学生获取准确信息的能力。

1.3 GRAMMAR 1 是学习不定式作目的状语的用法。

在练习前先列出to 的几种不同用法来引出to 可作目的状语。

接着又引出了其它可作目的状语的短语： in order (not) to, so as (not) to。

1.4 FUNCTION 这一部分先展现例句引出要学的短语，然后通过练习来巩固所学内容。

1.5 LISTENING AND VOCABULARY 是关于drug users 的一些信息。

在听之前通过问答的方式先巩固词汇，然后采用问答和完成句子的形式对所听内容进行检测，培养学生获取信息并再现的能力。

1.6 GRAMMAR 2 通过不同类型的例句引出引导结果状语从句的词: so与such以及对so 与such区别的讨论，然后通过练习来巩固其用法。

1.7 PRONUNCIATION学会在日常交际中表达语气和情感。

That translates to about on e person every six seconds.Most kids learn about the dangers of tobacco at a young age. Kaylie Lynch, a rising seventh­grader from Whitney Point, New York, decided to take her knowledge one step further.“I wanted people to really think about what tobacco is doing, and what it could do to them，”Kaylie said in a recent phone interview. “The fact that people are dying and we can prevent that is just astonishing to me. 本节课的重点是通过写作把吸烟的危害和戒烟方法结合起来，但是如何设计问题由浅入深让学生掌握吸烟的危害和戒烟的方法以及掌握与吸烟有关的习语表达是难点。

课标解读：高中英语课程目标共有四个级别（六至九级）的目标要求。

其中高一年级需要达到六级目标要求；这就要求高一学生在听时能抓住所听语段中的关键词提取信息；说时能够传递听到的信息并就熟悉的话题表达看法；读时能够从阅读材料中查找所需信息；写作技能要求学生能简单地描述事件，并简单地表达自己的意见；能给朋友、笔友写信，交流信息和情感并能对所写内容进行修改。

教材分析：本模块以No Drugs为话题，通过阅读材料使学生对smoking 和drugs有所了解，并且通过对这两个话题使学生更深刻地认识到smoking 和drugs 对人体造成的危害以及对社会造成的危害，以及可能引起的一些社会性问题，从而鼓励学生远离烟和毒品，养成良好的生活习惯，关爱社会关爱他人，并通过所学知识运用恰当方式规劝他人也远离烟和毒品。

学情分析：本节课是面对的高一学生，如果给一个话题进行写作，部分优秀学生基本上能够输出一篇比较好的作品，但是大部分学生因为没有大量的词、句的积累，写作时会感到词穷意枯，无从下手，所以在设计本节课时，通过问题的设计由浅入深、循序渐进让学生在练习听说读的同时积累写作素材，然后引导学生连词成句、连句成篇完成写作任务。
