时尚女魔头电影观后感英文简单版English:I recently watched the fashion-themed movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and was captivated by the storyline and characters. The film depicts the cutthroat world of high fashion and the intense work culture at a prestigious fashion magazine, Runway. The character of Miranda Priestly, the powerful and demanding editor-in-chief, was portrayed brilliantly by Meryl Streep, and she truly embodied the image of a fashion tyrant. Anne Hathaway's character, Andy Sachs, provided a relatable perspective as a young woman navigating the challenging world of fashion journalism. The film not only explores the glamorous and glamorous aspects of the fashion industry, but also delves into the sacrifices and compromises that individuals have to make to succeed in a competitive environment. Overall, I found "The Devil Wears Prada" to be a compelling and thought-provoking film that offers a glimpse into the complexities of the fashion world.中文翻译:最近我观看了时尚主题电影《时尚女魔头》,被其情节和人物所吸引。

2013Text 1In the 2006 film version of The Devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep, scolds her unattractive assistant for imagining that high fashion doesn’t affect her.(film 电影;version 版本;译本;倒转术;devil 魔鬼;折磨;prada 普拉达(奢侈品品牌);scold 责骂;叱责;unattractive 不吸引人注意的;assistant 助手;辅助的) 2006电影版的《时尚女魔头》中,Meryl Streep所饰演的Miranda Priestly在斥责其平凡乏味的助手,原因是她认为高级时尚与己无关。
Priestly explains how the deep blue color of the assistant’s sweater descended over the years from fashion shows to department stores and to the bargain bin in which the poor girl doubtless found her garment.(descend 下降;遗传;下去;bargain 交易;契约;讨价还价;bin 箱子;容器;garment 衣服;服装;外表;外观)Priestly解释了助手身上毛衫的深蓝色多年来是如何从时装展屈尊至百货店,再沦落到打折区的,而这个可怜女孩儿身上的衣服无疑掏自最后一站。

Career or Love---New Women's Choice from The Devil Wears PradaI Introduction1.1 Introduction of Lauren W einberger and the Film-The Devil Wears PradaLauren Weinberger, born on March 28, 1977, is an American novelist and author of the 2003 bestseller The Devil Wears Prada, a speculated novel of her real life experience as a put-upon assistant to V ogue editor-in-chief Anna Winter. She attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New Y ork, where she was an English major and a sorority member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, graduating in 1999.After college, she traveled as a backpacker through Europe, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Thailand, India, Nepal, and Hong Kong. Returning home, she moved to Manhattan and was hired as winter’s assistant at V ogue. She was there for ten months before leaving along with features editor Richard Story. While Weinberger said she felt out of place at the magazine, managing editor Laurie Jones later said, "She seemed to be a perfectly happy, lovely woman".Weinberger’s experiences are similar to the heroine’s experiences in the film. She began working for Departures Magazine, an American Express publication, where she wrote 100-word reviews and became an assistant editor. She also published a 2004 article in Playboy magazine. After mentioning her interest in writing classes to her boss, Richard Story, he referred her to his friend Charles Salzburg. She started writing a story about her time at V ogue, and completed it by trying to write 15 pages every couple of weeks. After repeated urgings, she showed the finished work to agents; it sold within two weeks.Film The Devil Wears Prada is a 2006 comedy-drama film based on Lauren Weinberger’s 2003 novel of the same name. Directed by David Frankel, and played by Meryl Steep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and some other famous stars in Hollywood. The film’s box-office had broken billion when it was released in a few days.It tells this screen adaptation star Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a college graduate who goes to New Y ork City and lands a job as a co-assistant to powerful fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Steep. In this film, Anne Hathaway well shows the change of Andy, from a graduate to a super-assistant of Miranda. She has experienced much, including love broken, friends’ misunderstand, Miranda’s selfish, etc. However, she chooses to return to her original life in the end. While another important character Miranda, an overmatch in the fashion, loves her career rather than regrets for her choice. Moreover, in the film, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tuck co-star, as co-assistant Emily Charlton and art director Nigel, respectively. The film is well received by both film critics and the public and becomes a surprise summer box-office hit following its June 30 North American release. And it is the production of the modern economy’s development. With the improvement of female’s position, more chances are provided for women. Especially to college girls who will graduate from university, they have to face different choices in their life. How to keep balance between career and love has become a more important problem in the society’s development.1.2 Research PurposeWith the development of society and technology, we step into a new time. But there is still so much confusion in the modern world for female. Female’s social position has changed, with equality of men and women. Women can compete with men equally in work. More and more female have been active in international business and political for a long time. The role of female has chang ed more important. Though women’s life is busier, they have to face more choices in their daily life. How to balance career and love to them becomes more and more important. As college girls, we have better education, and we have touched many new things. Our mind is open; however, we may have to make many choices. Sometimes, as a wife in the family, a mother to a child, or a staff in the company, we may have to act different roles in our daily life. We feel tired, a little confused sometimes. Even we don’t know how to balance it. Some girls can’t face it correctly, so they may lose themselves and indulge themselves in vanity without friends or families’ happiness. So it usually results many social problems. Some girls are glad to give their life to ordinary life; they enjoy the happiness from their choice without regret. They return to the nature. Others choose to keep balance between career and love. Though they may tire, they want to own both. To sum up, choose career or love, we need to think carefully. At the same time, there is so much confusion in the film. Andy feels it difficult to balance career and love. She cherishes her love with her boyfriend but she doesn’t wantto give up her job. Therefore, it is very conflicted in her heart. While in career, she doesn’t understand Miranda’s selfish to Nigel. She even can’t understand the cold and fierce competition in career. After experiencing so many things in career, she is gradually conscious of the importance of love and friendship. Through this confusion, the film tells us so much enlighten. Therefore, I write this article to help our college girls to step out of the confusion. In my mind, we should face this confusion bravely, and we should solve it as fellows: no matter which we have chose, if we do the best of ourselves rather than lost ourselves into vanity and money, regulating the relationship between career, love and family, we can obtain happiness and live fully.1.3 Literature ReviewThe new female sprang up in the end of 19th century and early 20th century. Till now, it spreads far and wide. The famous British feminism writer, Daphne du Maurine, has created numbers of “new female” images in her books. She advocated “New Female”, and emphasized gender equality with women having more opportune in occupation.①At the same time, our Chinese constitution stipulates free marriage, gender equality and so on. Women obtain more rights to defended themselves, and they have enjoyed the same rights with men equally. Some Chinese great scholars put forward men and women should be equal in career, even they may be more excellent than men.②However, in the modern society, many famous writers have shown the same problem with female. For instance, the famous writer, Liu Hongyan, she had put forward female’s confus ion in her article. She thought women should pursuit independent personality, especially equal in career and love with men.③The Devil Wears Prada presents the problems which female in the big city have to face, with typical characters and feminism to treat how these new female to choose and balance between career and family. Choice is not a kind of behavior, but the most basic behaviorism element in the development of the film. Besides, today, the contradictory minds when women choose, express their subjective consciousness and the marginalized①Daphne du Maurier, Rebecca, 1938②史玮璇余婷《穿普拉达的女王》的女性主义意义[A]. 华北电力大学外国语学院河北保定2007.10③刘红艳《穿普拉达的女王》中的人生抉择[A]. 湖北文理学院外国语学院安徽2014.10life they can’t shake off by patriarchal society. The patriarchal society gets women into contradiction. In many famous writers’ opinion, at the end of the movie, Andy’s choice is the result of the betrayal of feminism and the return to traditional concept.II The New Women’s Choice2.1 Andy’s Confusion in the FilmFor the first, Andy in the film is a graduation from the famous Northwest University in America. She has a clear objective, with her dream to be a journalist after graduation. She is an editor in chief of the Daily Northwestern, and wins a national competition for college journalists. With full of confidence, she has been interviewed by many company though they have no results. Once in a while, she has heard that anyone who has worked in the famous fissional magazine Runway for one year could apply to work in any magazine in New Y ork. Though she knows little about fashion, little about dressing, even unknown Miranda, the devil in the fissional area, she intends to have a try. However, in the film, there is so much confusion for Andy as fellows:Firstly, because she has no working experience and she doesn’t know how to be a good assistant for Miranda. So she is very confused. When such a “rustic” girl appears in front of Miranda, she regards Andy as beneath one. But what Andy says moves her, “I am not skinny or glamorous and I don’t know that much about fashion. But I’m smart. I learn fast and I will wo rk very hard.” Finally, she is admitted by Ran way. While successfully applying for the assistant of Miranda, Andy suffers kinds of troubles soon. When the hurricane runs heavily, Miranda tells Andy no matter how difficult she must get the air ticket. When Andy has tried her best to do her job, merely criticizes Miranda is still unsatisfied with what she has done. When Miranda needs the unpublished manuscript of Harry Porter, Andy tries her best to find a way to get it. Eventually, she has got it with the help of her friend, Topson. Though Miranda is very harsh, she praises Andy in her heart.Secondly, she gradually found she has difficult to keep balance between loves and career. Just Andy takes to the career like a duck to water, and is highly successful there; she finds she can’t go back to the original life. She splits up with her boyfriend, distancing herself from friends. She confuses. When she knows Miranda’s position may be replaced, she is looking for Miranda anxiously so as to tell her to have a me ntal preparation. But Miranda is not surprised, because she has known earlier and taken measures in advance that she makes her minds to sacrifice her subordinate,Nigel, whohas worked for her in many years in order to save her position.Thirdly, she confuses the relationship between colleagues; sometimes she thinks she doesn’t understand why they are so cold and selfish. Andy is very surprised with what Miranda has done. How she can be so cold without any ashamed or sympathy to Nigel. It is very confused for Andy to understand, while Miranda tells her that she has replaced Emily similarly. Andy begins to confuse, she doesn’t understand the heartless competition in career; she doesn’t understand Miranda, nor her unhappiness family. So she throws the phone which used to contact with Miranda and resigned.2.2 College Girls’ Confusion About Their FutureRecent years, with the expansion of higher education and the reform of employment system, college graduates employment problem has turned increasingly prominent, especially affected by the financial crisis. College girls are regarded as a special part, particularly when it comes to employment matters. While it is also difficult for them to treat their love before graduation. Some girls choose career, because they think only if they live better, can they have a better future, even a better love. They usually have little time to company with their boyfriends. Eventually they have to spill up. On the contrary, others don’t think so. They well cherish their emotion with their boyfriends. They are reluctant to leave them after graduation. Therefore, they intend to find jobs in the same city with their boyfriends. Different girls may treat it in different ways, but all in all, no matter which way they have chose, they should do the best of themselves.①According to these years’ researches, more and more college girls are confused; they have failed to balance career or love. There are many reasons as fellows.②Firstly, the fast community economy development exp ands female’s rights. It influences women’s lifestyle and minds. The consciousness of equality of men and women, free marriage catch on. In this materialistic world, everyone wants to have a better life and enjoys it, thus, it urges people to make their dream come true with their sweat and effort include female in this time. Therefore, there are more dreams, more beauty, and more chances for college girls to choose and work hard for their future.①杨丽做最好的自己——论电影《穿普拉达的女王》对大学生健康成长的启迪[A]. 新乡学院外国语学院2013②张金玲当代女大学生婚恋观存在的问题及教育对策[D]. 河北师范大学2011.1Secondly, changes of social demands interactively affect fem ale’s employment. Women’s pressure of employment becomes bigger. In these years, there are more and more graduations flow in our society. Next comes its saturation of the employment area. Furthermore, as a special part, female need to find other ways to improve their competitiveness. Therefore, they have no time to company with their partners. As time goes by, lacking contact with each other longer and longer results in more distant, even contradictions. While how to balance career and love, which one should college girls choose correctly are problems for them to solve.Thirdly, School education changes girls’ minds. School education advocates free and equality no matter boys or girls, and they can study any knowledge they want to learn. In the school, they were guilder to establish lofty ambitions, more and more girls hoping to have the same success as boys. So they work hard and do their best to come true. Finally, college girls’ own consciousness improves their own social position. Because they have educated well and effected by the change of society, the more experiences they have had, the more desire they want to improve. Maybe they also want to be housewives, looking after their children and parents, doing the housework, shopping or drinking tea in the afternoon, but today all of these can not satisfy their desire to improve themselves and have a success in business just like men. Some college girls also admire political pioneers and they want to be people like them. Therefore, some men can’t accept thei r change sometimes, or they don’t understand why women choose to do like that. These above are the reasons why college girls have confusion about career and love. In these materialistic times, we should have to consider our future carefully, do the best of ourselves no matter what we have chosen.III The Comparisons between Two Main Characters in the FilmThe American film The Devil wears Prada screens on June, 2006. It tells the story of the editor of American famous magazine Runway, Miranda and her new assistant, Andy. Through different experiences between their career, marriage and love, the film has built a new female character with more reasonable and gradually matured. In the view of Andy, the film elucidates fierce competition in the USA fashion luxury with some contradictions. At the same time, from the point of view of human nature, the film states how sad and helpless as a fissional head. It also shows the principles of survival in the fissional area.①3.1 Miranda’s Image in the Film3.1.1 Miranda’s Attitude Towards CareerIn the film, Miranda, played by Meryl Steep, is a fissional veteran. She has guided the direction of fashion, even a rainmaker in this area. Her appearance surprises everybody, even before she has not been seen. Though she is called “the devil”, she is not so serious in fact. In the film, we can see a new feminist character, Miranda, as a female head in the company, changing the character of butch in once films. She dresses herself neutral, and always hides kind, tender. She tries her best to show capable and experienced in front of people. But in daily life, she knows how to show her female charm to others, in the back of the luxury full of arguments about her. Certainly, it doesn’t influence people’s praise to her capab le of working. On the one hand, it better shows the character “queen” to audience. She asks for patient and persistent to her staff. When Andy has been interviewed by Emily, Miranda’s call is coming. In such a time, all staff sink into nervous and astonishment. Here, Meryl well shows the powerful and temperament of “the devil”, Miranda. On the other hand, as a boss, Miranda asks for equality and efficiency in the daily work. While we can see her frank with her staff. In the film, as she is coming, she tells her assistant to arrange the whole day’s work schedule, including helping her buying coffee, taking dog, bring clothes, even arranging her children’s study and life... Her requirements are time and efficiency, one has not been finished, the other will be started①刘红艳《穿普拉达的女王》中的人生抉择[R]. 湖北文理学院外国语学院2014in the phone. Finally, in our daily life, this kind of workaholic is very common. But to female, career and family is still very difficult to choose. Female need to be not only kind, tender and courage to sacrifice, but have enough confidence and courage. As the main editor of Runway, Miranda can work in good order, while she should look after her children well. Therefore, this film better shows Miranda’s character, her hard work and success in the career, and well reflects the value of female themselves. Furthermore, it indicates Miranda’s unhappy marriage. When she has to face another divorce, she doesn’t regret other than sympathy to her two daughters. Eventually, she chooses her career and slicks to think she is right.3.1.2 Miranda’s Attitu de Towards LoveAs the overmatch of the business, Miranda gives a deep impression to audience in the film. She is the head of the company, having luxury life and famous people as friends. Though the successful career makes people admire, she has an unhappy marriage.Firstly, Miranda dismisses her love as unimportant. Miranda is very praise, but her personal life is in a complete mess and barely satisfactory. The twin daughters are wayward and naughty who are lacking of discipline. Sixth faith marriage makes this overmatch a little tired with no tears to cry. The subordinates are full of complains but have to shied away from her. Therefore, she is really a overmatch in career, but a failure in her daily life.Secondly, in the film, she chooses career rather than her marriage and her family. Maybe she doesn’t have friends, and she prefers to sacrifice her honest subordinate to protect her own position. She doesn’t need friendship or love. In her eyes, she needs only career and luxury life. She is seemed like a queen. Although she is a female, she also wants to guide the trend. She looks like capable and experienced, without any tender and kind. She always gives people a cool impression. She is enough a workaholic. Thus, she has little time to company with her twin daughters, with quarrels with her husband. When she faces another divorce, she looks so tired, but she still chooses to join the meeting in Paris rather thinking a little about her marriage or husband. Her career is dazzling, but her personal life is so terrible. She has never regretted forher choice to career, on the contrary, she tells Andy confidently that everyone will admire her position and everything she has. She regards her career as her whole life.3.2 Andy’s Image in the Film3.2.1 Andy’s Attitude Toward CareerIt is said that characters decide fate. Different characters of people have different fates. Andy’s unusual character decides her quickly adapting to the new working environment and has a good mark. This character also makes her give up her beautiful future when she is flourished and comes back to the ordinary life. Andy’s distinct personality decides her life choice; furthermore, it improves the whole film’s connotation and gives shake and enlightment to the audience.Firstly, in the film, Andy, played by Anne Hathaway, is a girl who had a clear life aim. She wants to be a journalist after graduated from Northwest University of American. During the school time, she has obtained many awards. When she has heart if anyone can work for Runway for one year, any publishers can accept her. Therefore, she decides to have a try. She has little interest in fashion, even unknown Miranda. But her smart and persistent moves Miranda, finally, she can come and work as Miranda’s assistan t.Secondly, Andy is a stubborn girl and she even doubted if she could be up to the job. At the beginning of the film, as a new comer, she tries to make her colleagues to adapt her. She doesn’t want to change, nor wants to integrate herself into fashion. Until Miranda is disappointed, she intends to change. She comes to ask help to Nigel, and hopes him to give some advice. Then she gradually adapts the environment, at the same time, she is believed by Miranda, replaces Emily, she has been the first assista nt of Miranda.Thirdly, Andy is conscientious and tries her best to do the work. She has tried to adapt quickly. With Nigel’s help, she works with facility. She quickly adapts Miranda’s arrangements, buying coffee, taking dog, bring clothes, even arranging her children’s study and life...When she helps Miranda find manuscript of Harry Potter for her two daughters, she is impressed Miranda at that time. Finally, Andy has found her original belief; dream again, certainly her love and friendship. At the time she knows Miranda decides to sacrifice her sincere subordinate toprotect her own position, Andy is very astonished. She doesn’t understand why Miranda can do so, why she say they are the same kind of people in fact. When she understands the betray and off ice politics in the career, she doesn’t want to be a member of them. Returning to the nature make Andy a have new life, while she is respected by Miranda by the recommendation to American newspaper publisher. Andy chooses her love in the end.3.2.2 Andy’s Attitude toward LoveIn the film, as a graduation from university, Andy is very curious about her career and society. She wants to do what she likes, and she tries her best to work hard so as to have a good future. In fact, her experience in Runway makes her lost in thought.Firstly, Andy cherishes her friendship and love very much. At the beginning of the film, Andy has a few good friends, and they usually get together to celebrate. When they knows she has been employed by Runway, they are surprised, especially her boyfriend, Nate. With the busier work, she has little time to company Nate. Neither does her friends. She even sacrifices her free time to help Miranda rather than joining friends’ party. In some way, she is dedicated. She once stably considers her choice is right. However, Nate and her friends doesn’t understand her, or they think she has changed rather than a sincere and honest girl they have known. In their eyes, she is a girl who is keen on flashy, around by all kinds of famous people or brands. Her life has only Miranda and work. Finally, when she misses Nate’s birthday and chose to go with Miranda to Paris, Nate spills up with her. Her love has disintegrated in a time. She is a little regret, but in her opinion, she always think she has no choice. When her colleague Nigel comes, he tells her that the real success symbolizes the family disintegrated. When she knows Miranda has to face another divorce, she totally feels regret.Secondly, she thinks highly of friendship with her colleagues. Until she knows Miranda decides to artifice Nigel to protect her own position in the company. She is confused. She doesn’t want to be a person like Miranda, or she only wants to escape this infighting in the career. In the end, she throws Miranda’s call and chooses to resign. She finds Nate, and makes friend with him again. Andy comes back to her original life and chooses to be a journalist.Maybe in some people’s eyes, Andy’s choice is unlucky, but in fact, she really find herself and achieves her life value. Girls can learn from her with her hard working and warm blood to work. With gorgeous appearance and praise attitude, Miranda is admired by people. She looks cool, but has a warm blood to her work. In career, she is a qualified head in the company. For our girls, we should learn her pursuing time and efficiency, strict with ourselves in our daily life.Secondly, Miranda’s persistence in her work influences college girls. This film leaves an expression of an overmatch of Miranda to audience. Many girls favors Miranda very much. We should learn to face the serious competition bravely and wisely like her. And we should have confidence and the able to foresee. She doesn’t regret for her choice, and she loves her career and her Runway. In some way, she has come true her own life value.①She really chooses what she likes. Miranda is the talented person who is needed by society. With more and more serious competition in the society, we should learn Miranda’s wise and firm, and we should stick to our own direction and principle, making right decision at the hard time.4.2 Andy’s Enlightment to College GirlsOn the one hand, we should learn Andy’s persistence in her career. Though she is a graduate without any experience, she works hard and is very persistent. As college girls, we should learn from her spirit in caree r. With brave and talent, she obtains Miranda’s praise. However, to our college girls, we need to have brave and wise in career. Thus, when we have difficulties, we can not be afraid and face them bravely. On the other hand, sometimes we should learn to give up like Andy. The best way to grow up is vanity. In fact, Andy’s return means a kind of resistance to old feminist. It represents a new feminist, free choice and returning to nature.②It also means a resistance to the control like Miranda’s. The film gi ves audience deep impression to consider. As college girls, we will face graduation and we should learn how to make choice by ourselves. Andy is a good example, we could learn from her. Through communicates and strict with the super editor, Miranda, she has been a master in workplace from a rookie. With lively rhythm, positive content, distinct characters and fissional clothes, this film leaves people a deep impression. When the film is released, it is not favored by Americans, but very famous in China, especially Chinese college girls. It tells girls who would graduate from university how to face and solve problems in career and how to choose their life without regret.Firstly, as college girls, we should be confident and brave. With the development of higher education, at present, the numbers of college girls are gradually rising. In 2006, the numbers of college girls had been up to 48.6% in the whole universities. This proportion had closed to the medium-level developed countries. It is obviously seen that the level of our country’s educated female are improved. And college girls are the backbone in the future’s female development.①Modern college girls’ attitude is optimistic and ambitious;Secondly, college girls should be subjected to their vanity. However, with the development of our country’s economy, some girls are easily worship and enjoyment. They admire vanity and pursuit money seriously. It can make them go the wrong way and regret all their lifetime. It is said that vanity is the best way to grow up.②People always understand themselves after experiencing many difficulties, so Andy in this film does.Thirdly, this film tells us no matter what we choose, we should try our best. As college girls, we can pursuit fashion, we can pursuit honor, and we can choose anything we favor. But we can’t be over addicted to the vanity. We can be another Miranda, the overmatch in career, or we can prefer Andy, an ordinary girl in daily life. Sometimes we may feel a little difficult to balance, and we may be confused. But it is normal, because we can grow up in such choices. We should have clear aims and respect our heart, positive and hard work. 穿普拉达的女王英语观后感80字左右全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReviewWow, The Devil Wears Prada movie was soooo good! It was kind of long but I didn't get bored at all. It's about this girl named Andy who gets a job as an assistant to a super mean lady named Miranda Priestly. Miranda is the boss of a big fashion magazine called Runway. At first, Andy doesn't care about fashion at all. She wears frumpy clothes and doesn't do her hair or makeup. The people at Runway are all so stylish and they make fun of Andy for how she dresses. Her co-workers are really snobby too, especially Emily. Emily is Miranda's other assistant and she's jealous that Andy gets to be Miranda's new assistant.Miranda is sooooo mean to Andy! She makes her do everything for her like getting her dry cleaning, booking her flights, and getting her starbucks coffee with some ridiculous order. Miranda is always yelling at Andy for messing things up. I felt really bad for Andy having such a mean boss.As the movie goes on, Andy starts dressing more fashionable and doing her hair and makeup. She starts to fit in at Runway but her friends and boyfriend think she's changing too much. Her boyfriend Nate gets mad that she's always working late nights for Miranda. The best part was when Andy had to get Miranda's daughters from their grandma's house but she didn't know where it was. She calls Miranda from a janky pay phone in the pouring rain while wearing fancy clothes! Miranda was sooooo mad but Andy saved the day.By the end, Andy looks totally gorgeous in designer clothes and makeup. But she doesn't want to put up with Miranda's abuse anymore. She tells Miranda off in French in front of everyone at Runway! It was epic! Andy quits and goes back to being her normal self.I really liked the movie because Andy grew as a person. She learned to care about her appearance without letting it take over her life. And she stood up for herself against the bully Miranda. The fashion world seems crazy but the movie was super fun to watch! I gave it 5 out of 5 stars!篇2The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReviewHi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you about this really cool movie I saw called "The Devil Wears Prada." It's about this girl named Andy who gets a job as an assistant to the super mean lady boss at a big fancy fashion magazine. At first, Andy doesn't really care about fashion or looking nice. She just wears whatever is comfortable, like sweaters and casual clothes. But the people at the magazine are SO glamorous and fashionable. Andy's boss Miranda is basically the queen of fashion and everybody is terrified of her!Poor Andy has the worst time at her new job. Miranda is so mean and picky and nothing Andy does is ever good enough. She has to do a million things like getting Miranda's dry cleaning and staining dresses just the right way. It's really stressful! Miranda never says thank you and is always yelling at Andy for something. But the funniest part is that Andy starts to become obsessed with fashion and looking trendy like everyone else at the magazine. She gets this super chic makeover and suddenly she's wearing designer clothes and high heels and looking totally style! Her friends from before don't even recognize her anymore.I think the movie shows how powerful fashion and labels can be. Even though it seems kind of silly to care so much about what brands you wear, it actually means a lot in certain circles. The fashion industry is actually really cutthroat and competitive behind the scenes.Miranda is so powerful because she decides what's in fashion and what's not. With one word, she can make or break a designer's entire career! That's why everyone is so scared of her and will do anything to please her. They know Miranda is the queen of fashion.I felt really bad for Andy when Miranda was so mean to her. It's not fair to treat someone that way just because you're the boss. I could never work a job like that where I got yelled at constantly. I would just start crying! Andy is really strong to put up with all of Miranda's abuse.By the end of the movie, Andy realizes that the fashion world is too fake and toxic for her. She stands up to Miranda finally and decides to quit and get a different job. I was so proud of her! It's more important to be true to yourself than to impress some mean snobby fashion people.Overall, I thought The Devil Wears Prada was a really entertaining and funny movie. The fashion and clothes weregorgeous, but it also showed the dark side of how crazy the industry can be. I loved seeing Andy's transformation to becoming stylish. It just goes to show how much fashion can change your outer appearance.I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in fashion or stories about young people finding their way in tough career environments. It has great messages about being true to yourself, working hard, and not letting mean people walk all over you. It was both funny and inspiring! Two thumbs up from me for The Devil Wears Prada!篇3The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReviewWow! The Devil Wears Prada movie was really something else. I just saw it with my mom and I have so many thoughts swirling around in my head. It was like getting abehind-the-scenes look at a super fancy fashion magazine. The main character is Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway. Andy is a fresh out of college girl who really wants to be a serious journalist. But she ends up getting a job as an assistant to the terrible Miranda Priestly, who is the super mean boss lady incharge of Runway magazine. Miranda is played by Meryl Streep and she was soooo good at being the meanest boss ever!At first, Andy dresses really frumpy and doesn't care about fashion at all. That's one of the reasons Miranda treats her so badly. Miranda is obsessed with having her assistants look perfect and stylish at all times. Slowly, Andy starts dressing nicer and nicer in designer outfits and she gets caught up in the drama of working at Runway. There are a lot of funny scenes where Miranda is just outrageously rude to Andy and the other assistants. Like when she wouldn't let Andy go to her boyfriend's birthday party, or when she would randomly snap her fingers for someone to come do something. I felt so bad for Andy having to deal with someone so mean as a boss!As Andy gets more into the fashion world, she starts changing as a person. She becomes kind of snobby and forgets about her old friends and boyfriend. It was sad to see that happen, but also believable since the fashion world is portrayed as so cutthroat and vain.My favorite character was definitely Miranda's mustachioed fashion guy Nigel, played by Stanley Tucci. He was often the only nice one to Andy and seemed to really understand what she wasgoing through working for the intense Miranda. I liked how he taught Andy about fashion and style, even though he could be sarcastic.I also really enjoyed all the running around New York City that Andy had to do as Miranda's assistant. Trying to get stains out of clothing, finding issues of this unpublished magazine, picking up special towels and skis and all sorts of crazy tasks. It showed how not glamorous the job really was, despite being at a famous magazine. The climax comes when Andy has to choose between her old life and her new fashion life after an incident in Paris during Fashion Week. I don't want to spoil what happens, but it's a tough decision she has to make. There's also a dramatic scene with Miranda finding out Andy was applying for another job behind her back. The tension was so high!Overall, I loved getting to peek into the outrageous world of high fashion through this movie. The clothes and hair and shoes that everyone wore were absolutely stunning, and it was fun contrasting that with the often horrible way people were treated. Meryl Streep as Miranda was just perfection - so classy yet so cruel. Anne Hathaway did a great job showing Andy going from a grungy girl to a fashionista over the course of the film.I would definitely recommend The Devil Wears Prada to anyone who likes comedies, fashion, or strong female characters. It has some great messages about staying true to yourself and not letting work consume your whole life. I'm sure I'll watch it again to catch all the little fashion details I may have missed. For a movie all about clothes and makeup, it had a lot of heart and depth. Two chic thumbs up!篇4The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReviewHi friends! I just watched this really cool movie called "The Devil Wears Prada" and I have to tell you all about it! It's a movie about this girl named Andy who gets a job working for the super mean lady boss at a big fancy fashion magazine called Runway. The boss lady's name is Miranda Priestly and she is played by Meryl Streep. Miranda is SO scary and demanding! She makes Andy do all these ridiculous tasks like getting her starbucks coffee at 3am and finding two different unpublished Harry Potter books. I felt really bad for Andy having to deal with someone so mean. I don't think I could ever work for Miranda, she would probably make me cry!The funniest part of the movie is Andy's makeover. At first she dresses kind of frumpy with casual clothes from places like Gap. But then her coworkers at Runway, who are all obsessed with designer fashion, give her a whole new stylish wardrobe with clothes from Prada, Chanel, and other fancy designers. Andy looks so great after the makeover! I loved all her new outfits, especially the cute blue coat she wears. Getting a makeover like that would be so fun.Andy's best friend is a girl named Lily who I really liked at first. Lily is an aspiring writer and she seems very down-to-earth and relatable. But then Lily gets mad at Andy for changing after she starts working at Runway. I thought Lily was being a bad friend by judging Andy just for dressing nicer and getting more interested in fashion and her career. Just because Andy's interests changed a little doesn't mean she's a different person! I was disappointed in how mean Lily was to her. There's also a cute romance between Andy and one of the guys who works at the magazine. His name is Nate and he's pretty funny, but I didn't really like him that much. He got jealous of how much time Andy spent working and never seemed to support her career ambitions. A good boyfriend should be more understanding! My favorite characters were probably Emily and Nigel who both work as assistants under Miranda. Emily is the senior assistant and she has to deal with a lot of Miranda's outrageous demands and insults. But Emily always handles it with such sarcastic sass, I loved her comebacks! Nigel is the super stylish guy who helps with the fashion elements of the magazine. He was always so nice to Andy and gave great fashion advice. He's someone I would want on my team for sure.Overall, I thought The Devil Wears Prada was an awesome and entertaining movie! It was cool getting to seebehind-the-scenes of the fashion world at a big magazine. And even though Miranda was really mean, it was satisfying seeing Andy overcome all the challenges Miranda threw her way. The movie had great fashion, funny dialogue, and an inspiring message about believing in yourself and going after your dreams no matter what. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun film!Okay, that's all for my super long review! Let me know if you watch The Devil Wears Prada and what you think. Thanks for reading, byeeee!篇5The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReviewHi! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I just saw this really cool movie called "The Devil Wears Prada" and I wanted to tell you all about it!The movie is about this girl named Andy who gets a job as an assistant to this super important lady named Miranda Priestly. Miranda is the boss of a big fancy fashion magazine called Runway. At first, Andy thinks the fashion world is kind of silly and she doesn't really care about clothes or purses or shoes. But then she starts to get more into it.Miranda is sooooo mean to Andy at first. She makes her do all these crazy things like getting her dry cleaning picked up at midnight and finding her special unpublished manuscript books. Andy's coworkers are also pretty mean to her because she doesn't dress fancy enough. Miranda's two assistant people Emily and Serena are really rude to Andy. But Andy starts transforming into a fashionista. She gets this really cool makeover from her friend's boyfriend who is a stylist. He gives her a whole new wardrobe with pencil skirts, high heels, and awesome handbags. Andy looks so pretty after the makeover! As Andy gets more into fashion, she starts being better at her job and gets more respect from Miranda. But she also gets kind of mean like Miranda sometimes. She blows off plans with her boyfriend Nate a lot and gets really obsessed with work. There's this one really funny part where Andy has to get Miranda's twins from their fancy school for a work thing. The twins are so sassy and don't listen to Andy at all! They make her take them to their mom's place to get their mom's unpublished manuscript book instead of going to the work event. It's hilarious how they boss Andy around.Andy also has to go to Miami with Miranda for a big fashion event. Miranda gets really mad that Andy packed the wrong coat and makes her go get the right one from New York and fly back in the same night! That's so intense.Towards the end, Andy's boyfriend Nate breaks up with her because she's too obsessed with her job. Miranda also gets really mad that Andy wouldn't do something kind of unethical at work involving stealing someone else's ideas. Miranda fires Andy after Andy chooses her morals over doing what Miranda wanted.Even though she gets fired, Andy ends up going back to being her normal self, dressing how she wants and not caringabout fashion anymore. The movie has a happy ending where she gets a job at a different magazine that fits her better. My favorite parts were definitely the funny scenes with the sassy twins and anytime Miranda got really mad at Andy for silly fashion things. I also loved Andy's makeover and how pretty she looked all dressed up! Although Miranda could be super mean, she was a boss lady and owned the whole fashion world, which was cool.I think the movie had a really good message about staying true to yourself and not changing too much for a job. It shows you can have a career and be successful without becoming an evil person like Miranda. I'd definitely recommend this movie if you like fashion, New York City, and strong female characters! That's my review of "The Devil Wears Prada"! Even though it's a movie for grown-ups, I thought it was really funny and entertaining. Let me know if you watch it and what you think. Thanks for reading my review! Bye!篇6The Devil Wears Prada Movie ReflectionWow, The Devil Wears Prada movie was really interesting! At first I didn't think I would like it since it's about fashion and grown-up jobs, but it ended up being really cool. The main character is Andy Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway. She's a young woman who gets a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly, who is the super powerful editor-in-chief of a huge fashion magazine called Runway. Miranda is played by Meryl Streep and she is pretty scary!Andy doesn't know anything about fashion when she starts working at Runway. She wears frumpy clothes and doesn't do her hair or makeup. The other workers at the magazine are obsessed with designer labels and looking perfect. Especially Emily who is Miranda's other assistant. Emily is really mean to Andy at first because she doesn't fit in.Miranda is extremely demanding and treats Andy terribly. She makes her do impossible tasks like getting an unpublished manuscript of the next Harry Potter book for her twins. Andy has to work nights and weekends and never has time for her boyfriend Nate or her friends. It's like Miranda is the devil and Andy is her slave! The funny thing is, as Andy starts working harder at Runway, she begins to care more about fashion and her appearance too.She gets a makeover from her co-worker Nigel and starts wearing stylish designer outfits. Her attitude changes too - she becomes more focused and confident, but also snobby. There's a really sad part where Nate complains that Andy has changed into a "monster" because of her job. He breaks up with her because she has become obsessed with impressing Miranda and fitting into the shallow Runway world. I felt bad for Andy losing her nice boyfriend just because she finally got fashionable. My favorite part was near the end when Miranda'sway-too-demanding behavior finally goes too far. She expects Andy to miss her siblings' birthday and a major work event for Andy's career goals, just to retrieve Miranda's daughters from summer camp. Andy stands up to her and quits in an epic moment!I cheered when Andy quit Runway and Miranda and went to work for a different magazine. She got her confidence and still kept her style while being true to herself. The message is you don't have to be mean or let yourself be treated badly just to be successful in a prestigious career.Overall I loved the humor, drama, and fashion of this movie! It was really inspiring seeing Andy transform from a shy, frumpy girl to a poised professional while staying a good person. I hope Ican be stylish yet stay true to myself like Andy when I grow up. The Devil Wears Prada taught me you can work hard and achieve your goals without losing your soul to an evil boss!。

The movie follows the life of Andy Sachs, a young graduate who lands a job as an assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful editor of a prestigious fashion magazine. As I watched the movie, I couldn't help but feel a mix of admiration and repulsion towards Miranda Priestly, played brilliantly by Meryl Streep. On one hand, I admired her unwavering dedication to her career and her ability to command respect and fear from those around her. She was the epitome of a successful woman in a male-dominated industry, and her impeccable taste and eye for detail were truly awe-inspiring.On the other hand, Miranda's callousness and lack of empathy towards her employees left a bitter taste in my mouth. She was willing to manipulate and belittle others in order to getwhat she wanted, and she seemed to view people as disposable assets rather than individuals with feelings and aspirations.Through Andy's journey, I also learned about the sacrifices that one has to make in order to succeed in a competitive field. Andy had to compromise her personal values and relationships in order to meet Miranda's demands, and she constantly struggled with the conflict between her ambition and her sense of self.Overall, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a thought-provoking film that sheds light on the dark side of success and the high price that one has to pay for it. It serves as a reminder that true success should not come at the expense of one's integrity and humanity, and that it is important to stay true to oneself even in the face of adversity.篇2Title: Reflection on "The Devil Wears Prada""The Devil Wears Prada" is a film that has left a lasting impact on me. As Andrea navigates through the cutthroatworld of fashion, she is forced to make tough decisions and sacrifices that ultimately shape her identity and values. One of the key themes in the film is the pursuit of success and the sacrifices that come with it. Miranda Priestly embodies the archetype of a successful and powerful woman who has made sacrifices in her personal life to achieve professional success. Despite the pressures and temptations of the fashion industry, Andrea learns to stand up for herself and stay true to her ideals. This message is particularly relevant in today's competitive and fast-paced world, where it is easy to lose sight of what truly matters.Another theme that resonated with me is the idea of mentorship and the importance of learning from those who have more experience and wisdom. Miranda Priestly serves as a mentor to Andrea, albeit in a tough and unconventional way. Through their interactions, Andrea learns valuable lessons about professionalism, resilience, and the importance of attention todetail. This relationship highlights the importance of seeking guidance and feedback from those who have walked the path before us.In conclusion, "The Devil Wears Prada" is a captivating and thought-provoking film that offers valuable insights into the complexities of success, sacrifice, and mentorship. The Elegance and Substance Beneath the Glamour: Reflections on "The Devil WearsPrada""The Devil Wears Prada," a film that captured the essence of New York City's high-fashion world, tells a tale of transformation and self-discovery. Directed by David Frankel and adapted from Lauren Weisberger's novel of the same name, the movie stars Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a young woman who lands a job at the prestigious Runway fashion magazine. Her boss, the icy Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep), is a严苛的任务大师 whose demands push Andrea to her limits, forcing her to navigate the challenging world of high fashion. At first glance, "The Devil Wears Prada" appears to be a simple story about fashion and glamour, but it's much more than that. It's a commentary on society's obsession with appearance and material possessions, and the lengths people are willing to go to achieve the perfect life. Through Andrea's journey, the film explores the conflict between personal values and the demands of a materialistic world.Andrea starts her journey as a naïve and idealistic young woman who dreams of becoming a writer. However, she soon realizes that the fast-paced and competitive world of fashion is far removed from her original aspirations. Sheis constantly pushed to her limits, dealing with demanding deadlines, temperamental designers, and a boss who expects perfection at all times. Despite the initial excitement of working at Runway, Andrea soon feels overwhelmed and lost. The film's central theme is the importance of staying true to oneself in a world that constantly pressures us to conform. Miranda, with her perfect life and high-fashion lifestyle, seems to have everything that Andrea wants. However, as the film progresses, we see that Miranda's perfect life is built on a foundation of lies and deception. She hides her true self to maintain her position and image, sacrificing her personal happiness and relationships in the process. This contrast between Miranda's facade and herinner emptiness highlights the film's message about the hollowness of material possessions and the need toprioritize one's own happiness and values.Andrea's transformation throughout the film is both remarkable and inspiring. She starts as a naive andinsecure young woman who is easily swayed by others' opinions and expectations. However, through her experiences at Runway and with the help of her friends and mentors, she learns to value herself and her dreams. She realizes that true success is not measured by external factors like material possessions or social status, but by thefulfillment and happiness one derives from following their passions and staying true to their values. The film's ending is particularly poignant. After quitting her job at Runway, Andrea embarks on a new journey that aligns with her values and aspirations. She moves to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a writer, leaving the glamour and materialism of New York behind. This decisionnot only symbolizes Andrea's personal growth and self-discovery but also serves as a powerful reminder that true happiness and fulfillment come from following one's heart and not succumbing to society's pressures."The Devil Wears Prada" is not just a movie about fashion; it's a story about self-discovery, personal growth, and the importance of staying true to oneself. It encourages us to prioritize our values and dreams, even when faced with the temptations and pressures of a materialistic world. In the end, it's not about what we wear or how we look, but about who we are and what we believe in.**时尚外衣下的优雅与内涵:《穿普拉达的女王》观后感** 《穿普拉达的女王》这部捕捉了纽约时尚界精髓的电影,讲述了一个关于转变和自我发现的故事。

Part 1Miranda:I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to confirm an appointment.Emily:I know. I’m so sorry, Miranda. I actually did confirm last night...Miranda:Details of your incompetence do not interest me. Tell Simone I’m not going to approve that girl that she sent me for the Brazilian layout. I asked for clean, athletic, smiling. She sent me dirty, tired and paunchy. And R.S.V.P. yes to the Michael Kor’s party. I want the driver to drop me off at 9:30 and pick me up at 9:45 sharp. Call Natalie at Glorious Foods, tell her no for the 40th time. No, I don’t want dacquoise. I want tortes filled with warm rhubarb compote. Then call my ex-husband and remind him the parent-teacher conference is at Dalton tonight. Then call my husband, ask him to meet me for dinner at that place I went to with Massimo. Tell Richard I saw the pictures that he sent for that feature on the female paratroopers, and they’re all so deeply unattractive. Is it impossible to find a lovely, slender female paratrooper? Am I reaching for the stars here? Not really. Also, I need to see all the things that Nigel has pulled for Gwyneth’s second cover try. I wonder if she’s lost any of that weight yet. Who’s that?不愧是女魔头,吩咐起来不顾周围人是否能记下,简直是一串连珠炮。
让我们来看看她到底有多强硬吧。
1. Details of your incompetence do not interest me.我对细数你的无能不感兴趣.【小编讲解】这句口语表达十分地道,同时斩钉截铁,显示了这位总编强硬的态度。
我们听惯了“I’m not interested in...”,不妨学习Miranda,说“sth does not interest me”。
2. Tell Simone I’m not going to approve that girl that she sent me for the Brazilian layout.
3. I asked for clean, athletic, smiling. She sent me dirty, tired and paunchy.我要求清爽微笑又有运动风,她却给我肮脏疲惫又肥胖的。
And R.S.V.P. yes to the Michael Kor’s party.还有,参加迈克科尔的晚会。
【小编讲解】R.S.V.P.这个缩写来自法语:Repondez s’il vous plait,即 Reply if you please 的意思。
4. I want the driver to drop me off at 9:30 and pick me up at 9:45 sharp.
5. Am I reaching for the stars here? Not really.我这是强人所难吗?不会吧!【小编讲解】这句话真是一个亮点。
女总编的自问自答,无人敢反驳,再一次地体现了她的强硬。
Part 2Emily: Now, get a pen and write this down. I want one no-foam skimmed latte with an extra shot, and three drip coffees with room for milk. Searing hot. And I mean hot.
1. one no-foam skimmed latte,
Part 3Emily: While you’re out, Miranda needs you to go to Hermes to pick up 25 scarves we ordered for her. Cassidy forgot her homework at Dalton, pick that up. Miranda went out to meet with Meisel, and she will want more Starbucks when she gets back. Hot Starbucks.
His mother is out in Japan. 他妈出门在日本。
Part 4Emily: The phone must be answered every single time it rings. Calls roll to voice mail, and she gets very upset. If I’m not here,Andrea, Andrea, you are chained to that desk.艾米丽:电话一响,就一定要有人接。
要是进入语音系统,她会抓狂。
我若不在,安德莉亚!不准你离开那张桌子!Andrea:Well, what if I need to...安德莉亚:要是我有需要去……Emily: What? No. One time an assistant left the desk because she sliced her hand open with a letter opener, and Miranda missed Lagerfeld just before he boarded a 17-hour flight to Australia. She now works at “TV Guide”.艾米丽:不行!曾经有一位助理,因为手被拆信刀划伤而离开座位,结果米兰达错过了拉格斐搭机去澳洲17小时之前打来的电话,她现在在《电视指南》工作。
Andrea:Man the desk at all times. Got it.
