Unit2 Lesson 10 Where do they live? (教案)一、教材分析本课程属于冀教版(三起)英语三年级下册的 Unit 2,名为 My Home。
本课为第十节,名为Where do they live?本课的教学目标主要有两个:1.让学生学会描述动物居住地的位置;2.让学生学会运用 There is/There are 句型描述物品的存在。
在语言形式上,本课程的教学重点在于动词短语 where do they live 和There is/There are 句型。
二、教学过程课前预习(8min)1.把目标概括给学生,让学生读一遍听力中的所有单词,挑出生词并翻译;2.教给学生 There is/There are 的基本句型,叫学生自己照着模板造句子。
–There is + 名词单数(表示某处有某物)–There are + 名词复数(表示某处有某物)e.g. There is a cat. There are some dogs.听力 (15min)1.让学生默读所有单词以及出现的新句型。
记录学生阅读时的难点和问题;2.引导学生听课文录音,特别注意现在学习的重点句型和目标单词;3.播放两遍录音,让学生跟读,模仿录音中语音语调、语速等细节部分。

本单元以前面的知识为基础,重点学习生活在动物园里的动物的外貌及体态特征、居住地和爱吃的食物。
本课是在上一课学习了动物居住地的基础上,来学习、讨论动物们爱吃的食物。
因为在上一课Lesson10 Where Do They Live?中,学生已掌握了特殊疑问句的句型结构,所以在本节课学习What Do They Eat?时很容易理解。
而且食物中的banana, fish 和grass在前面的学习中已经掌握了,只有meat是第一次接触学习。
在教学过程中,教师从学生熟悉的日常生活下手,联系实际,不只局限于学习课本上的四种动物爱吃的食物,也让学生拓展描述出其他动物们爱吃的食物。
学情分析:三年级的学生,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,对游戏、竞赛特别感兴趣,学生有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。
根据学生的心理特点,在设计课堂教学活动时结合本班学生的情况,我采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。
