探究一:可数名词和不可数名词

英语中名词分为可数名词和不可数名词。能够数出个数的名词称为_________ 名词,不能数出个数的名词为___________名词。

1)可数名词:英语中可数名词有单,复数两种形式。

1.不可数名词

1) 不可数名词无复数形式,其前不能用不定冠词,数词或many修饰,但可以用some, a

little, much, a lot of 等修饰。如:

2) 不可数名词可以用量词来表示其数量,这些量词有单复数形式。值得注意的是,无

论量词是单数还是复数,不可数名词都不能有复数形式的变化。如:

3)“量词+of+不可数名词”这一结构作主语时,谓语动词要和量词的数保持一致。如:

探究二:would like

would like意为“愿意;想要”。与want同义,但比want更委婉,用来礼貌地表达意愿。would like后可接名词(短语)或动词不定式;它没有人称或数的变化;如果主语为人称代词,would可缩写为’d。如:

He would / He’d like to go to the zoo.

★句型“Would you like sth.?”用来询问对方是否想要某物。其肯定答语常为“Yes, please. / OK. / All right.”等,否定答语常为“No, thanks.”等。如:

—Would you like some water?

—Yes, please. / No, thanks.

★句型“Would you like to do sth.?”用来询问对方是否愿意做某事。其肯定答语常为“Yes, I’d like / love to.”等,否定答语常为“I’d like / love to, but …”等,but后面的句子常用来说明拒绝的理由。如:

—Would you like to go to the movies with me?

—Yes, I’d like / love to.

—I’d like / love to, but I’m really busy today.

★句型“What would sb. like?”用来询问对方或别人想要什么。其答语常为“I’d / She’d / He’d / We’d/ They’d like …”如:

—What would you like?

—I’d like some dumplings.

On New Year’s Day, many people eat special food for good luck.

In Spain and some Latin American countries(拉丁美洲国家),people eat twelve grapes at midnight on New Year’s Eve—One grape for good luck in each month of the new year.
