1.To help students to understand general principles and

procedures of business English writing.

2.To familiarize students with different types of business

English correspondence.

3.To help students to write formal business English letters.

4.To improve students’ written communication in course of

international trade.

Course Description:

This course aims at written communication in business. Focusing on reader-oriented writing, the course will introduce writing principles and general procedures of business writing. By trained from sentences, paragraphs to whole articles with plenty of exercises and case studies, students can write business correspondence appropriately such as letter, email, fax, memo, report, minute, resume, etc. They also can conduct written negotiation professionally with enquiry, offer, counter-offer, acceptance, etc.
