语法·聚焦

“能”说“会”道的can

Hi,everyone!I’m “can”.Welcome to come and see my show!

【can的才艺展示】

1.表示能力,通常指在体力或脑力方面的能力,意为“能;会”。如:

He can speak English.他会说英语。

2.表示许可,意为“可以”,这时可以和may通用,但是比may较正式。如:

Can I use your pen?我可以用你的钢笔吗?

3.表示可能性,意为“可能”,这时常出现在否定句中。如:

It can’t be true.这不可能是真的。

4.表示提供帮助。如:

Can you help me?你可以帮助我吗?

【can的个性展示】

1.与动词原形“形影不离”

在句中,can不能独立作谓语,必须与动词原形共同充当句子的谓语。

2.没有人称和数的变化

当can与动词一起作句子的谓语时,无论主语是第几人称或单数、复数形式,can仍然保持自己的风格,不会发生任何变化。

【can的句式表演】

1.肯定句:主语+can+动词原形+其他。如:

Mary can play the drums.玛丽会敲鼓。

2.否定句:主语+can’t+动词原形+其他。如:

He can’t play the piano.他不会弹钢琴。

3.一般疑问句:Can+主语+动词原形+其他?肯定答语:Yes,主语+can.否定答语:No,主 语+ can’t.如:

—Can you play chess?你会下象棋吗?

—Yes,I can.是的,我会。(肯定回答)

—No,I can’t.不,我不会。(否定回答)

4.特殊疑问句:疑问词+can+主语+动词原形+其 他?如:

What can I do for you?我能为你做点什么呢?

2. play的用法小结:play与体育、棋类词语连用时,不加定冠词the

一般现在时(to do 句型)

定义:表示经常性的习惯性的动作;(现在所处的状态,所具备的能力等)。

标志性的时间:1、频度副词:usually, always, often, seldom ; sometimes, at times;

2、每天的三个时间段:in the morning/afternoon/ evening; at night;

3、” every”短语:every day; every week; every Sunday; every year;

4、频度次数:once a week; twice a month; three times a year

5、on Sundays , on Saturday mornings;

三、句型:

1)句型语序:主语——谓语(行为动词)——宾语——状语

2)主谓一致:主语三单,谓语三单;主语非三单,谓语用原形。

3)句型转换:变疑问句首加do/does,谓语动词用原形;变否定谓语动词原形前加don’t/doesn’t.注:一般现在时的第三人称单数动词的变化规则:

(1).一般在动词词尾加“s”。如:like→likes,play→play s。

(2).以ch,sh,s,x,o结尾的动词,在词尾加es,如:do→does,teach→teaches,go→goes

英语时刻的读法

英语时刻通常用以下两种方法表达:

1. 直接表达法<顺读法>

A. 整点时间

用基数词+ o'clock来表示,注意o'clock须用单数,可以省略。

如:eight o'clock 八点钟,ten (o'clock) 十点钟

B. 其它时间

用基数词按钟点+ 分钟的顺序直接写出时间。

如:eleven five 十一点五分,six forty六点四十,two thirty两点三十

2. 间接表达法<倒读法>

A. 如果分钟数少于30分钟,可用分钟+ past + 钟点表示,其中past是介词,意思是“过”。如:twenty past four 四点二十eight past one 一点八分

B. 如果分钟数多于30分钟,可用(60分钟-原分钟数)+ to +(原钟点数+ 1)表示,其中to是介词,意思是“差”。

如:8:35 可表示为twenty-five to nine,差二十五分钟九点,即八点三十五(其中的分钟数twenty-five 是由60分钟减去35分钟得到的;钟点数nine是由8加1得到的)。

注:

A. 当分钟数是15分钟时,可用名词quarter (一刻钟)表示。

如:7:15可表示为 a quarter past seven,

12:15可表示为a quarter past twelve

1:45可表示为a quarter to two

B. 当分钟数是30分钟,即半点时间时,可用名词half(一半)past + 基数词来表示。如:9:30 可表示为half past nine,3:30可表示为half past three。

C. 若想表明是上午,可在时间后加上am或a.m.。

如:thirteen past six a.m. (上午六点十三分)等。

若想表明是下午,可在时间后加上pm或p.m.。

如:four o'clock p.m.(下午四点)等。

D. 若表示的时间不够准确,可在时间前加上介词about。如:about eight(大约八点)等。

E. 在时间前面应用介词at来表示在的意思。

如:at nine在九点钟,at about five thirty-five p.m. 大约在下午五点三十五分等
